My husband and I stayed one night at the Royal Court Hotel Ramallah.
While the room was suitable, we had an absolutely terrible experience with the employees. We would not recommend staying here at all.
We parked our car in the hotel’s lot, which is so tiny to begin with. After arriving back to the hotel in the evening after dinner, the lot was completely full. My husband spoke to the receptionist, who said he’d move his car so we could park. If we needed to move our car so other cars would exit (again, the lot is a shoebox), he would telephone our room.
In the morning, when we checked out, we found our car hit and dented. The car parked in front of ours was not there, as it had been last night. It had left and evidently hit our car.
We talked to the staff and were told the cameras were password protected and the director was not on site. When the staff came out to the lot, they were disrespectful and gaslit my husband and told him they didn’t not believe him that another car had been there. They took our name and number and told us they would call us.
They have not called us since to resolve the issue. We will not be returning and would not recommend the hotel to others.
