Grand Decameron Montego Beach

I can't say enough good things about this hotel and their staff. We arrived as Hurricane Melissa was approaching. Through the storm they continued to keep us safe, provide incredible service, and helped us in all kinds of ways even as the country faced an unprecedented disaster and many of them waited word about how their own families and homes fared. The food was particularly noteworthy - always a variety of delicious food. The facilities, though many shut down due to the storm, are beautiful. But more than anything I commend the incredible staff for their dedication, hard work, friendliness, and service.

I recently stayed at the Decameron Resort, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was consistently delicious, offering a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. Each meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The activities were another highlight — well-organized, engaging, and perfect for guests looking to relax or stay active throughout their stay. Whether lounging by the pool, joining in on the entertainment, or exploring the surroundings, there was always something enjoyable to do. The location itself is stunning — a perfect blend of natural beauty and convenience, making it easy to unwind while still having everything you need close by. A special mention goes to Zoey, whose warm personality and exceptional service truly made the experience stand out. She went above and beyond to make sure guests felt welcome and well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Decameron for anyone seeking a memorable getaway filled with great food, fun, and genuine hospitality.

This a budget friendly all-inclusive made amazing by the staff. I’ve been to 20+ all inclusives and the staff here were the best. Shout out to Zoey, JJ, and the rest of the entertainment dream, I thoroughly enjoyed yall!! Damion, the bartender, was amazing as well. I’m so sad I have to go. The hotel itself is about a 3.5; but the staff makes it a 5 for me!

Love this boutique hotel, this is my fifth visit, second this year! People are amazing, receptionist Frances is the most polite and helpful person, and all staff is trying to fulfill your requests promptly. I had an issue with a/c remote, maintenance came within half hour and brought a new one. Food is great too, especially their stews yum! All in all I will come back here for sure!

Disclaimer: I don’t usually stay at hotels with such low ratings (3.6), but I received a special promo through Wyndham and decided to take advantage of it. Overall, I would generously rate this hotel a 3 out of 5 due to views and food being good! Rooms Our room was very outdated, though it did have beach views. Unfortunately, it was located at the far end of the hotel near the dead-end beach that has swim club come out 5 am daily. Service This was hit or miss. Check-in took almost an hour and a half, even though we were only the third party in line. In the dining room, we often had to ask for basic items like spoons and forks, and many times the dining areas didn’t open on time. On several occasions, we waited up to 10 minutes for service or for someone to staff the food stations (for example, the spaghetti station). Location This is the hotel’s strongest feature and the main reason we chose it. It’s central to everything, just down the street from the airport, and even has a convenient spot on the beach where people can pick you up. The location is truly excellent.

Jason at the pool bar is the sweetest Damion Sweetness at the pool bar is the most jovial person I’ve met give us a lot of joke. THE Man Wolfy Is the man of entertainment ❤️Lady Sweetness is great people person she always laughing, I love Lady vanilla she is the best, always smiling Zoey entertain us all day every day, she never forget names, she always communicates with the guy, Derval the server is the most jovial he always check up on us. Energy is full of energy love him

I had an excellent experience, thanks in large part to Zoey. Her warm, professional and entertaining service made my visit truly memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and want to give special credit to Zoey for making my stay spectacular, prayers for my jamaican family and friends during this time

It was a relaxing weekend with a difference. The food was tasty and met my expectation. The location of the resort is convenient and can be accessed quickly from the main road. The staff members were very friendly for the most part, except one employee. ▪︎Andre was exceptional in his Service @ the Babba Roots bar on Saturday night. ▪︎Junior was excellent in his Service delivery likewise at the same Babba Roots bar on Sunday night. ▪︎Shaquille was great too in his service duties at the same babba Roots bar. ▪︎The only flaw occurred at 45 minutes before check-out on Monday, October 20, 2025 - The Bartender (Jason) on duty at the Pool Bar across the volleyball area was arrogant, outright rude and unpleasant. After asking him to prepare a drink for me, that's tangy and without alcohol; his utterances came across as very distasteful. In his words "Wha yuh want mi fi do? Mi cyaah read yuh mind, tell mi wat yuh want, becauz mi hav other guest fi serve" And he went on and on. Clearly he seemed upset, so I told him to serve his other guests instead. I left the arlea afterwarfs, and another guest shared a similar experience she had with him earlier that day that was clearly unprofessional. I dread going back to any bar that he works! It wasn't long after when I shared my experience with a staff, that I was told he could have suggested a glass of lemonade, and that would have been fine with me... Overall, it was a nice get-away weekend, but that one incident was appaling.
