I can’t describe how delicious that scone was! Simply amazing, the scone, the jam and the clotted cream. My husband loved his mocha coffee. Service was perfect, staff were really friendly and kind, seriously I could eat in this place everyday for the rest of my life. Highly recommended!

Came all the way from Australia to visit Queen’s beloved Britannia, we ended up having tea time here even though we had booked one on the next hours downtown. Loving the scones and minty ice cream, the view, and the ambience here. ❤️

We were on the tour of the yacht and called in to the tea room to see what the menu was like and decided to stay for a cup of tea and scones (and ice cream for the little one). It is a touch on the expensive side but to be honest, I expected worse given the beautiful setting of a royal yacht. I've photographed the menu if you want to check in advance. Service was pleasant but not that quick so don't call in if you are short of time I would suggest.

It was a thrill to be able to have lunch in the Tearoom on the Britannia. It was all I expected and reasonably priced considering how many staff there were and it’s position. I was firstly surprised that I was allowed in because I’d just spent 2 weeks hiking and looked like it! 😂 I had the Light Lunch, Salmon sandwich, White Wine and a pot of tea. Fab! Nice fresh ingredients and later we found out that they are using the original galley as always used. So great! I would highly recommend this addition to your tour. And a lovely view from the huge windows. I could even see the final Iron Man out in the harbour, looking sad! Thanks team.

Everything was 10/10. Sandwiches were delicious, tea was flavorful and plentiful, cakes and scones were fluffy and massive. Do. Not. Miss.

After a great tour of H.M.Y. Britannia, we decided to treat ourselves as kings and queens and have lunch at the Royal Deck Tearoom atop of the Britannia. The view from the tearoom is well worth a visit. Needless to say, the ambiance is very welcoming and the atmosphere very royal. One of us enjoyed a Salmon sandwich with smoked salmon, lemon, and cracked black pepper and cream cheese on wholemeal bread. Another had the Flat Field Mushroom, truffle, and chive soup. Our other friend tried the Tomato Soup which was vine plum tomato and red pepper. Both soups arrived with a warm bread roll and butter. We enjoyed a glass of wine with our lunch. The food was great and at a reasonable price for its location at a tourist attraction. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a little royal treatment with a meal at the Royal Deck Tearoom atop of the Britannia.

A busy place, I hadn't booked. The staff where busy but still friendly, and a small waiting time to be serviced. Luckily I got a table by the window. It was a little stuffy though. The service hot and cold food and drinks. I had the salmon sandwich, with a side order of potatoes wedges. The sandwich was filled with salmon which was good especially for the price. I ordered the banana milkshake, but what I received was banana milk, however it was a nice milk. And for after fruit scone with cream and jam, a nice scone. Not sure I would eat here again due to the high price though, however the food was good.

Google
an absolutely perfect dining experience. delicious food, decent prices, friendly service, and an incredible view. i tried the salmon sandwich and i thoroughly enjoyed it, it was very tasty. i also got a mocha which was equally as good and even came with foam art of the ship on top! definitely stop in for a bite to eat if you’re visiting the ship.

Yelp
Was visiting the Royal Yacht on Burns Day and decided to pop into the tea room for a quick drink however when I saw they had a Burns day special of haggis, neeps and tatties I knew where I was having lunch. The tea room was quiet so I was seated quickly with impeccable service, exactly what I would have expected. The decor is also very tastefully done, representative of the rest of the yacht. As for the food, excellent is the only fitting descriptor. Not a large portion, however plentiful for lunch with a lovely whisky sauce. The view while eating was exceptional also. Definitely a place I would return if I ever found myself visiting the yacht again.

Yelp
I was very excited about visiting Royal Britannia and her tea room. No reservations, first come, first serve. They had delightful sandwiches and desserts including Queen Victoria's favorite cake. The Lemon cake was delicious. You have a nice view of the Ocean Terminal even on a rainy day. It's not high tea but you know you're in for a treat. Service was good and friendly. A nice way to start or end your tour of Britannia. If you have time in Edinburgh enjoy this treat and lovely ship.

Yelp
I mean you gotta try a tea or champagne on the Royal Yacht. Walk up one of the stairs. We were promptly greeted and sat on a later Friday afternoon. The menu is pretty deep. We had traditional tea earlier in the afternoon, so we opted to share a chicken salad sandwich and a slice of carrot cake. We both had some bubbles before toured the yacht. The food was surprisingly good. The service and ambiance were on point. The whole yacht experience as good. Highest recommendation when in Edinburgh

Yelp
This is just a museum. It's a bit packed and a little expensive. The audio tour is free but starts putting you to sleep after a bit. Luckily there are chairs on the boat for you to sleep on ha. Staff is friendly. There's only 29 audio stops which adds up

Yelp
It was nice and pleasantly British. My mother had tea and scones. I had a sandwich, chips (fries), and a cappuccino. Nice place on a great ship.

Yelp
This is a restuarant in the middle of your tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia. We only had tea and scones. About 40 pounds for 4 which is pricey. But we had fun imagining we were having tea with the Queen. You are paying for the experience. Tea was tea. Nothing special. But the scones were tasty, along with the cream and jam. The mocha was hot and delicious too, plus they sprinkled the brown sugar on top in the shape of the Britannia. Cute.
