I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Service is excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location is very scenic, right next the beach. There are many eating and retail establishments within walking distance. Parking is convenient, but must be reserved in advance. I would stay here again.

I loved this hotel. It is in a fabulous central location close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious well designed with lovely Clarins products and we even had a sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also loved the bar/breakfast room which was a comfortable place to relax with a glass of wine. Will definitely return.

We stayed at the Royal Emeraude on a Friday night and it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well located for everything Dinard has to offer and there are lots of restaurants etc in the vicinity and it is yards from the beach. I booked a Deluxe room and wouldn't have wanted anything less as the other rooms looked considerably smaller and our room wasn't huge. However, it had lots of character on the 2nd floor and was very nicely decorated on the theme of the Orient Express. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, a very comfortable bed and it had a view of the beach which was pleasant. There are external shutters that are operated from a switch so the room had a blackout and cut out any noise. The safe was on the top shelf of the wardrobe so pretty useless really. The room didn't have a fridge. The bathroom was modern, with quality toiletries and we requested and were given a walk in shower. The bar was enjoyable for a pre-dinner drink and was quiet the night we were there. I would definitely pay the 20 Euros for secure parking which is across the road in the side street located in a private garage. There is access to the hotel by key code through a side door opposite the garage. Parking in the street when we visited would have been extremely difficult. The members of staff we came across were unfailingly helpful and polite and were a prime asset of the hotel. The Royal Emeraude appears to be the nicest hotel in Dinard and we would have no hesitate in returning.

The reception staff were very pleasant. The room was warm and cosy. Very comfortable bed. Appreciated the Clarins products in the bathroom. Nice selection of teas and coffee too.

For the past five years, this charming hotel by Dinard beach has been our favorite getaway, and each return visit reminds us why. Perfectly located just steps from the shoreline, it offers everything from morning walks along the coast to a refreshing dip in the ocean or an easy stroll to nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner. Bonus: Saint Malo is a quick and scenic boat ride away. :) Breakfast is a highlight, with a generous spread that showcases local products and makes every day feel like a treat. The elegant bar and stunning glass-ceiling dining room create an inviting atmosphere—whether you’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast, a cozy afternoon tea, or a perfectly crafted cocktail before dinner. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and decorated with timeless style that makes relaxing effortless. And while the setting and amenities are wonderful, it’s truly the warmth and attentiveness of the staff that make the experience unforgettable—they go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. It’s the kind of place that feels like a second home, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire team!

Fabulous and well located traditional hotel with views down to the beach from some of the rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and we received a warm welcome on arrival and service levels were high throughout our stay. We had reserved a car-parking space (an extra cost but a must) and were directed to a covered building on the opposite side of the building to the entrance. We had booked the a suite and requested a balcony. We were in Room 210 on the second floor, the room had been beautifully decorated to a theme of an ocean-liner with comfortable chairs, a desk area and separate bathroom with gorgeous Clarins products and then a large bay window giving lots of light and access to the balcony with a couple of steamer chairs with views over the beach, sea beyond with the landmarks of Fort du Petit Bé and Grand Bé. A lovely place to sit, relax and watch the world go by below. Rooms also had a kettle, a coffee machine, and some water. Breakfast had an extensive selection of continental and cooked food served in the glass atrium on the ground floor. Again Staff were friendly and attentive while we were there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.
