"Brussels Beautiful Covered Shopping Arcade The Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert is one of the oldest covered shopping arcades in Europe. This upscale shopping mall is located just opposite the Grand Place and is a beautiful place to window shop. Inside you will find jewellery, handbags, a hat-maker, a glove shop, restaurants and a variety of Belgium’s best chocolate-makers. Don’t miss the stunning Art Nouveau stained-glass ceiling of the Corné Porte Royal chocolate shop. The galleries are particularly beautiful at Christmas when the shop fronts are decked out for the season."

Located at Galerie du Roi 5, 1000 Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪. Even before you step inside Saint Hubert, the surrounding streets are an interesting mixture of architecture and character with a lot of art and graffiti for expression. The arcade has an ensemble of shops, from the biggest names in fashion to unique collectibles plus a few restaurants/cafes to enjoy a delicious meal. There’s also pastry and biscuit shops, Belgium Chocolate Shops, jewellery shops and others. The building itself is stunning, it’s an ensemble of three glazed shopping arcades. It consists of the King’s Gallery, the Queen’s Gallery and the Prince’s Gallery. The galleries were designed and built between 1846 and 1847. Its’s really a masterpiece, the architecture left me feeling breathless. The see through glass ceiling was magnificent, the way it reflected the sun down onto the shops below was amazing. A showstopper! 😍 It’s simply a blend of sophistication, culture and history accumulating into the perfect place to shop and explore. I suggest trying to visit during both the day and night. It’s quite stunning with the lights on at night. It’s particularly crowded on weekends so maybe try during the week. We spent quite a few hours just wandering, exploring the shops and then had a wonderful meal. It was an awesome experience. I loved it. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

Mostly high-end shopping and plenty of chocolate stores to visit. It can get very busy and loud, at night the lights are very pretty. There are plenty of places close by to eat dinner and it’s a very short walk to the Grand Palace Square.

So many places to eat but there's only so much space in your stomach. The architecture, tall ceilings, food and the desserts are amazing. Must try Pierre Marcolini - Chocolate Grand Cru

It's a unique looking shopping centre, which is more like a long, covered street, with shops on both sides. It has an interesting selection of shops, ranging from clothing, to chocolate shops. There are several cafes too, and even a cinema. It's not your typical shopping centre, but is well worth visiting, just to admire the impressive architecture!

A beautiful shopping gallery with covered passages. Some cute cafes and lots of really fancy chocolate shops - highly recommend going early and also when it’s busy. Loved the architecture too. All the shop hours differ.

A charming little strip lined with renowned chocolatiers like Pierre Marcolini, Neuhaus, and Mary’s. You’ll also find cozy cafés and inviting restaurants where you can sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit—I find it absolutely delightful.

The Royal Galleries of Saint Hubert are a beautifully preserved 19th-century arcade in the heart of Brussels. The architecture is stunning, with a glass ceiling and ornate decorations. It’s a great place to stroll, window shop, or enjoy a coffee. However, it can get quite busy, and the shops are on the pricier side. Still, it’s a worthwhile visit for the ambiance and history.

Think of this place as one of the world's first shopping malls, but way, way grander. It's a gorgeous, glass-roofed arcade, and elegant. Now, be warned: this spot is a tourist magnet, so it gets pretty packed. But for good reason! This is where you'll find some of the best of Belgium. We're talking about those famous Belgian chocolate shops, Mary, Neuhaus, etc – prepare to be tempted! You'll also find classics like Maison Dandoy, known for their amazing biscuits (especially the speculoos!). And of course, if you're looking for some Belgian souvenirs to take home, this is the place to browse. So, push through the crowds, soak in the beauty, and enjoy some retail therapy with a side of Belgian deliciousness!
