Very good tasty food was hot. I couldn't understand the menu. The food is very high in salt don't eat here if you have health issues you may have a coronary collapse. They don't serve free water like NYC law requires. No napkins you have to ask for them.

Delicious authentic food. I could put 4 stars because of appearances and long time wait for kebab but everything is covered by the awesome food. All of us really enjoyed it.

It’s only restaurant they have a shop where works so sweet woman and she gave me for free a bite of perfect Georgian Hachapuri ! Amazing and kind ppl works here ! I bought some sweet pies and there are amazing ! highly recommended this place ❤️

Very good Georgian spot on Kings Hwy, I stopped by to get some Khachapuri (Georgian cheese pie) for take out. Very thin and good quality of cheese pie. I noticed they have backyard and some tables. I should come back and taste some dishes.

I’m sure my picture and video will be enough to feel “the atmosphere”. Can you imagine in 2024 in United States workers of the restaurant will be smoking inside while you eat! On this picture is only one person, later it was 3 persons smoking all together! I would never step in this restaurant again! Plus we paid for 2 salads, 1 portion of hinkali and 2 black Lipton teas (however we asked for the Earl Grey)and paid $77!!!

Found this little gem by accident, loved khinkali and chocolate cake. Service was really good, waiter patiently explained everything to me and showed me how to correctly eat khinkali. Totally recommend this place, definitely returning here with my friends.

Irma keep this name !! She is greatest server!!!!! You guys will enjoy so much!!!! Food is great but keep this name Irma Irma Irma she is exelent!!!! And singer Anuka she is wonderful singer and just amazing person so you guys enjoy if you will visit here but ask for Anuka and Irma!!!!!!!!!

My Lovely wife "Nanuli Bortsvadze Florer" is from Tbilisi. I went to Tbilisi in 2019 and truly fell in love with the country, food, and people. Steak was my favorite meal, but when Nanuli introduce me to Khinkali, my mouth exploded with a new spectacular taste in which I never experienced before. Now, Khinkali is my favorite meal of all. We went to the Royal Gardens Tbilisi in New York with some dear friends, and we truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The food was amazingly awesome, and the restaurant staff was awesome as well. I am so looking forward to my next visit to New York and heading back to the Royal Gardens Tbilisi restaurant. FYI, they don't sell alcohol, but you can bring your own bottle. Our dear friend Irena brought this bottle for us to drink, and it was made by a good friend of the family in Tbilisi. It was very good. Thank you so very much Irena!

The food gust horrible. Not fresh at all! They charged a 15% service +5% credit card. No communication with staff, they speaking only Georgian.

If you adjust your worldview and concomitant expectations, you'll find that Royal Garden Tbilisi is pretty awesome! My first time there was during lunch hours. The back yard of the building is the dining area. During lunch the setup was pretty casual. The tables were bare (sans table cloth). The area had some vines etc. in an effort to convey a garden ambiance. There was also a small stage with some speakers and other equipment that I suppose could be used for live music or DJs. The space also featured a retractable roof. My companion and I stayed long enough to see the room get converted to a dinner look which looked considerably more elegant with just the application of white table cloths and candles! We knew then that we would have to return for dinner some time. I did end up visiting twice with the same companion who spoke Russian. she relayed all of our orders to the waiter in Russian. I'm sure that made things easier though I'm also equally sure that I would've gotten along just fine otherwise. Each time we've gone we've ended up ordering way too much food. On our two visits we had the lamb, Georgian Vegetable salad with walnuts, mushroom soup, Khachapuri Megruli (sort of like a cheese pizza), a large soup dumpling variant (I'm blanking on the menu name). All the portions were large and sharable (which fits with the family vibe of the place). We washed it all down with some Georgian lemonade which was very sweet. So if you're looking for something with more tart/citrusy maybe go with something else. The restaurant doesn't have a liquor license but you can bring your own bottle and there's no cork fee! Some would pull a star for that but I actually think it's awesome that you can bring drinks instead of getting overcharged, through a markup, by ordering individual drinks or wine. By the way, there's a liquor store steps away and they sell Georgian wines! The correct course of action under these circumstances is a no-brainer. What's the bottom line here? Treat RGT as you would if you walked into a family-style restaurant in The Republic of Georgia itself. Food is ordered to be shared. Lingering, eating, drinking, even dancing is encouraged. This isn't an American or French restaurant so don't treat it like one. Treat your visit like cultural immersion and you'll have great time.

Delicious food, big plates, friendly staff. We ordered pork Shish kebab, salad (vegetables with walnuts), khachapuri, khinkali. It was super delicious, like homemade. And plates was very huge! Definitely will be back for lunch or dinner. But people smoking around you, just in case.

I love Georgian food, but I never experienced anything this bad. All the food was over salted. They have no air-conditioning, even in 90 degrees weather. And when I asked the waitress to ask people at the next table not to smoke b/c I have asthma she refused. Where in NY people are just allowed to smoke in the restaurant

Been here few times. Highly recommended. Food tastes amazing. So much flavor. 4 stars and not 5 due to no alcohol. Prices are amazing.

Came here for a baby shower and it was so much fun! This is my first time trying Georgian food and everything was delicious. They have a nice backyard with a retractable roof that came in handy due to hurricane Henri. The staff is very friendly and helpful and were available at all times. Their potatoes and cheese stuffed bread were two of my favorite things from that day. The bread was super fluffy and soft with delicious salty cheese inside and the potatoes were cooked with ajika seasoning and served with a garlicky creamy dip. Couldn't get enough of either! Looking forward to trying more of their menu in the coming days!

Excellent authentic Georgian Cuisine. This is not fully "americanised" restaurant. Food is excellent. The seating is very cool. Sometimes the service can be not ideal because it gets very busy and there is only one or two waiters.

Food is OK, but overpriced. 0 stars for repeatedly delaying and delaying the delivery. Unreachable over the phone. Will never order overpriced cheese calzones from this place again.

That place reminds me post soviet collapse, nothing appetizig about it, horrible servise, no paying attention to customers, they simply can forget about your order, finally if you remind, they can bring you terrible food with anger and make you guilty. What else... no english speaking...

I was there on Monday, 12/14/2020, as a birthday party guest and that's the only reason why I didn't raise hell - I didn't want to spoil everyone's mood - but problems began immediately at the table, which was not ready despite the advanced reservation. Against all laws of physics, the cold was coming UP from the cracks in a floor, so the chairs were unfit to sit - frozen - and we had to request blankets to cover them. There was another birthday party and a couple of more tables with guests, hence the only waiter in the house (I was told he is also the owner) couldn't handle so many customers, thus was obviously nervous and rude, therefore, we had to wait for everything, from blankets to coffee. Now, about THE FOOD... when I asked the waiter if their broccoli and pumpkin cream soups are made on premises, the answer was resound: "NO" and Kharcho that I reluctantly ordered instead, was made with beef, not lamb as it customary is, very fat and almost tasteless. I never encountered such a gross disrespect toward Georgian cuisine, so well-known for its deliciously aromatic herbal sauces, none of which was present in the food brought to our table. Lamb Shish kebab I ordered turned out to be a beef one, dry and completely void of any taste, not even a smoky grill aroma and no customary for this dish Tkemali sauce. It was uneatable but, when I brought this to our waiter's attention, the only answer I received was his bark: "This IS lamb!" - no apologies or offer to replace the dish... I saw a couple sitting next to me who ordered a fish but couldn't eat it either but, worst of all, my wife and I had a sleepless night, due to indigestion and, as we learned the next day, so did most of the people at our party. So, to sum it up in a few words - HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE FOOD and HORRIBLE INTERIOR. If I could give 0 stars to this "establishment" I would and needless to say I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless you like sauce-less pizza they call Khachapouri, although the real dish is made differently, this was the only dish, of ALL ordered that night, that wasn't bad...

Awesome vibe- great and authentic food- wonderful staff - all at a great price! A must!
