"America's highest suspension bridge may be breathtaking for some, but those scared of heights may be left gasping for air as they stare straight down nearly 90 stories at the Arkansas River below. Completed in 1929, the bridge didn't have stabilizing wind cables until 1982." - Travel + Leisure Editors

I purchased both general admission and a ride on the sky coaster (giant swing). I did really enjoy the coaster, and while pricey, I'd probably deem that add-on with it's specific (additional) cost. However, I'm only rating 4 stars overall because do not think the adult general admission offers $35 worth of value, as it's basically just a walk across a bridge and a ride in a gondola over a canyon which, while certainly scenic, is not any more so than lots of other free canyons one can visit all across the country. Had I not been adding on the coaster, I would have been fairly disappointed with the value, and while the coaster saved it to some extent, the total cost felt pretty high in the end for one very fun and exciting, but also fairly short, swing across the canyon. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed that I did it, but I definitely wouldn't pay that much to do it again, nor would I recommend the general admission for anyone who is not very excitedly looking forward to doing one or more of the add-ons.

An Unforgettable Day at Royal Gorge Park! Royal Gorge Park blew us away! The gondola ride across the canyon was absolutely breathtaking — floating high above the gorge with mountain views all around was surreal. The Birds of Prey show was a standout. Seeing owls, falcons, and a huge vulture up close was both exciting and educational — they flew right over our heads! Watching zip liners soar over 1,000 feet in the air was thrilling just to witness. Their energy brought the whole park to life. Royal Gorge Park is the perfect mix of nature, adventure, and awe-inspiring views. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Thrilling views and unforgettable experience! Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is a must-visit if you’re in Colorado! Walking across one of the highest suspension bridges in the world with stunning views of the canyon and Arkansas River below is absolutely awe-inspiring. The entire park is well-maintained and offers a great mix of natural beauty and adventure. The gondola ride, zipline, and sky coaster are perfect for thrill-seekers, while the scenic spots and photo ops are great for families and casual visitors. It’s a bit of a drive from Colorado Springs, but 100% worth it. A perfect mix of adrenaline and jaw-dropping views — highly recommend!

Google
This was an amazing place to take our kids for a quick break after a long drive. You can choose to walk a lot or walk a little. They a gondola that goes across the canyon and you take that back to where you started. This and walking the bridge along with the kids place is all included in the ticket price. They do offer group tickets which is what we got for the day we were there. This is also bus friendly or a small car friendly. Lots to do and see in one trip. Highly recommended this trip. And we will be back.

Recommend: Buy your ticket online save $15 for 2 adults+a kid Buy drink from the start that you can refill throughout the park for free. Water is expensive, there is one next to playground that is free to refill. It was a great experience. We loved it. 😍

Google
This place is actually unique and picturesque..! I love the dusky mountains, the river, the train tracks and the bridge. As I am visiting from India, for me this trip was so much fun. My brother and sister in law took me here..And I was just amazed by the scenic views.. I even tried the tall swing.. Lovely..☺️

Google
Awesome views. Nice shuttle that was super convenient for my 88-year old father. We took the Tram, rode the shuttle across the bridge, watched a documentary film in the theater and took the shuttle back across the bridge. My wife walked across but I like the shuttle because I am afraid of heights plus it was great for my dad.

Google
I would not recommend getting tickets in advance. The bridge is weather dependent. Our daily travel advisory said that due to fog, the park would open at noon. I think it's amazing that they have very up to date information for travelers to the park. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had a great experience even if it was cold out. It is beautiful and such awe is experienced ❤️. It is definitely a bucket list item! The engineering is such a modern marvel. It is a must!!

Yelp
What a beautiful place! Even the drive up is scenic. You have options on ways to enjoy the park, bridge and art installations. I took the Gondola across the Gorge, Walked over to the bridge and walked across back to the main building. Finished my visit with a burger at the restaurant, and even that has amazing views. If you are brave there are two different zip line options back across the Gorge too. I'm not brave enough, but others seemed to enjoy the option. Take water and be ready for the elevation.

Camille H.

Yelp
Beautiful place. Gotta check it out just once right? So Yeah it's super expensive to just get in. I think it was $32 a person. Anything extra you want to do there aside from the gondola and children's area is at least $50 each. The gondola actually got stuck half way across the gorge while we were in line to ride it so they had to shut it down. Once operational again, no one in my party wanted to ride it. The main thing to see of course is the bridge across the Arkansas River. If you're not afraid of heights and swaying bridges, this is for you. It was beautiful up there, amazing views for sure. The prices there are the real only negative things as you are in and out in like 2-3 hours.

Yelp
The Royal Gorge is a unique experience! As the highest suspension bridge in America, walking across is not for the faint of heart but oh so worth it! Take a sneak peak of the gorgeous canyon below (956 feet) thru the bridge slats, take a photo by your state flag, marvel at the beautiful surroundings. It IS worth it! Note: the basic ticket price includes the bridge, gondola and play park, including a carousel. Yes, it is costly. However, so is everything else. People will spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Disneyland and not blink an eye. The cost helps maintain a rare and unusual experience in Colorado, keep that in mind. I would also recommend the Zip line and Skycoaster - zipping or swinging across the canyon is a crazy and fun experience!

Christa M.

Yelp
The grounds were well kept up and the gift shop was nice. We visited in December and were the only ones walking the bridge. There were many new wood planks in the bridge, made us feel safe. Once we made it to the other side, we noticed that none of the attractions were open. Nobody working the snack shack, beer sheds or the kiddie area. All closed. That should have merited a price reduction or told at the ticket boith before buying tickets that it was all closed. The attendent specifically mention the kiddie land being included in the ticket price. We payed full price for just walking the bridge, no bueno.

LInda C.

Yelp
The Bridge is lighted for Christmas! The lights start right at the entrance. All of the little trees along side the road are lighted with white lights. The bridge itself is lighted on both sides as well as the iron high rise in the middle. The large "bow" changes colors. Lights from the sides show up on the wooden planks lining the bridge - oh ya - you drive your car through. In addition to all the trees being lighted, the large "rock" walls along the road are lighted with red & green lights. Very cool. Before leaving there is a parking lot where you can take a "selfie" in front of the Rio Grande Santa Train. The weather was beautiful so not too cold and no wind! If you haven't been anywhere to see Christmas Lights, this is the place. $45 per car.

Yelp
Stopped to see the view and revisit the memories of when my son and I came here to ride the tram and walk the bridge. Lovely views from the overlook and as I walked down the parking lot to the main building. Went into the gift shop to buy a commemorative coin and a guitar pick for a gift. It was a good stop. Such a nice view and so clear. Associates in gift shop were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great family experience but saddy pricy!!!! Esp with kids 12+ considered adults. Check on line for specials. Well worth the visit.

Yelp
The Royal Gorge bridge is 956 feet above the Arkansas river. It opened in 1929. The first thing we did was the gondola ride an aerial view going over the Arkansas river it's 2400 feet across the gorge with a 360° view the ride seats six people per car. So when you go across you're at the top, you have to walk quite a ways downhill to get to the bridge on your way down you come across Cloudscaper Sip Line 1200 feet above the gorge. It takes you back to the main entrance. Where you can get back on the gondola and go back up to the top and ride the sky coaster it is a freefall at 50 mph 1000 feet over the Arkansas river.Aldo's kids area with a handcrafted carousel, climbing structures, a splash pad and a mining sloth box but that's only during the summer months. There is a theater and also dining areas we ate at Bridgeview barbecue before we walked across the bridge. The bridge itself has 1257 wooden planks ands flag from every state. We really enjoyed ourselves here and would love to do it again.

David K.

Yelp
Went here on 7/25/24. Probably the first time here in 30 years. First time as an adult. Great views. If you're scared of heights. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. Yes, the prices are very high. Got to pay for the park, staff and maintenance. Then you have your pay for the extra rides and the food isn't cheap either. But it's the experience that counts. My family and I had a blast! Lots of walking and lots of hills.

Ashley R.

Yelp
Just beautiful views! Walking across the bridge, ziplining across the mountains, just an amazing experience. Note sure what more to say, but I'm glad we came during our visit to Colorado.

Debra V.

Yelp
The park was easy to find. There is plenty of parking, and several handicapped spots by the front doors. We purchased general admission tickets which included gondola rides, a short film about the history of the park, a carousel ride and the Raptor show. The park is hilly above the beautiful gorge. We saw several electric scooters. The two sides of the gorge can be accessed by the very tall suspension bridge, which has a neat history, or take the gondola. While there we watched the zip liners, the sky swing, and a rock climbing class. Kids will delight in watching the sky swing, as a dad and two small boys were on it when I watched. On the premises is a restaurant serving pizza and ice cream. We took our lunch and ate in the car, tho there may have been a few tables around. In July the temperature was 85. That was hot, being around the rocks. Walking across the bridge was neat. Look down and maybe you'll see rafters and a train along the Arkansas River. Love that our U.S.A fifty flags fly there. When finished take a break in the nearby town of Cañon City. It's very nice with all kinds of shops.

Yelp
We missed out on Royal Gorge last time we visited in 2012/13 during the forest fires. Stopped by this time during the Colorado visit. Drive was very lovely, although part of road is under construction and they have one lane open for couple of miles which backs up the traffic during peak hours. We purchased the tickets the same day online and it was easy check in process. Online/app tickets are cheaper. We walked across the bridge and took pictures and then went to kids play area which was a break from the steep hike. Kids loved the slide and the carousel. We took the gondola for our return back to visitors centers which is included in the ticket price. Additional charge for zip lining and other rides

A S.

Yelp
It's the highest bridge in North America, beautiful views, a gondola ride included in the admission fee. An Cafe with an outdoor terrace. An excellent day out.

Vivek D.

Yelp
Great views of the royal gorge, even though at $35/person it's a bit overpriced for what you are seeing. The gondola ride is fun, and I'd highly recommend taking it from the visitor center and then walking across the bridge instead of vice versa. The bridge seemed longer in pictures and maybe in my mind, but it's really a short walk. Lots of fun options for kids, but we passed on those for the general admission. Once you cross the bridge back to the visitor center, there isn't much else to do. I can't imagine spending more than 2 hours here. Hence why I mentioned this being a bit overpriced. However, it's a good stop before taking the royal gorge train. Try getting here when it opens because the lines will pile up the later you arrive.

Brad N.

Yelp
OK, yes, it's spendy for what you get. But the views and experience were worth it for my wife and I on a recent visit, even though all we really had time for was walking across the bridge and back. It was very serene and the weather was uncharacteristically warm and clear for early November, and we got to take in all of the sweeping views of the river below, and the expanse of nature around us. Although the bridge is not open to general vehicle traffic, it does support full sized vehicles, as witnessed by a Chevy truck operated by the park ambling by during our return walk. Even though I have a fear of heights, for some reason, I never felt scared or even anxious. The bridge boards creak a little when you walk, but the bridge itself is very steady and doesn't move much in the breeze. We didn't spend a lot of time in the visitor center, nor really see any of the other attractions, but again, it was worth it. Note well as others have, that the drive from Colorado Springs is fairly substantial and not terribly exciting, although Canon City is a decent looking little town with dining and other opportunities if you need to stop.

Jane D.

Yelp
It was the funnest place my family had ever been to I loved the zip line took a while to ride but the day after we got on and it was so fun

Jay J.

Yelp
$31 a person to walk across a bridge is ridiculous..... don't bother. There is plenty to see along the way that don't cost anything.

Mark Q.

Yelp
The Royal gorge was a really amazing experience and a beautiful place to be. It's a very touristy destination but we went very early in the morning like around 10:00 a.m. That's when they open. The bridge is nice it represents an amazing architectural progress over the gorge. There's also the flags that's displayed of each state. I would suggest to go early in the morning or later on during the day, especially around July when it's really hot. I would also bring bug spray because there are a lot of flies and gnats that are going to be going all over your face. There are food options that's across the bridge and at the destination that you'll be in to start off the gondola. My family enjoyed it and I would recommend going there when you have the chance the chance

Kyle W.

Yelp
Definitely one of the most amazing spots I have been to. Just incredible scenery and sights. Not really all that pricey for $37 considering what it includes. I am a little old for the daredevil stage, just did the bridge and my wife did the Gondola.

Marty P.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park! I wanted to visit here several years ago but the park was closed due to the fires that broke out. You can see the scarring caused by the fire as well. It's truly captivating as you enter the park and explore various areas. The cost of admission is a little steep. I believe it was about $32. They also do not offer a military discount. Also, the zip line and other rides aren't included in the cost of admission. I believe the zip line ride costs about $44 per person. Plan accordingly! The gondola ride is included in the cost of admission. The gondola seats about three people per side of each one. The views are amazing as you cross the canyon. Have your phone or camera ready for some nice shots. On the opposite side of the canyon is where you purchase a zip line ride. It was fun watching riders zip across the canyon. There are signs posted that caution patrons about riding if you have certain existing health conditions. Also, near the zip line area is a theater that showcases a nice documentary film about the park and bridge. It's about 20-30 minutes long. There are also places that sell food, treats and beverages. Nice areas to sit and take a break as well. I recall seeing an outdoor amphitheater in this area as well. Take your time walking around this area as there are some nice places to see and visit. The bridge itself is magnificent to walk across. There are all 50 state flags displayed on the interior sides of the bridge. It was great seeing each state flag whose state I visited and lived in. There were a lot of patrons walking across the bridge when I visited. It was great people watching and just taking in all of the gorgeous views. After you finish walking across the bridge there is a nice concession stand that sells ice cream, sodas, other cold beverages and treats. If it's a hot day, great place to grab an ice cream cone. Also, it's highly recommended to bring sunscreen and a hat, preferably a wide brimmed hat to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun. You can easily spend an afternoon here. Again, plan accordingly. The main pavilion sells ice cold water, food, beer, and other beverages. This is a great place to end your visit with a cold beverage, snack or to just unwind and rest your feet. Overall, it's a great experience visiting the park. I highly recommend it for tourists and Colorado residents. Don't delay like I did! Visit as your schedule permits. Make the time as you won't regret it!

Diana G.

Yelp
This place was super nice. For about $35 you get access to the whole park, including unlimited gondola rides. There's a few extras you will have to pay for like the zip lining. We went in august and it was kind of cool up there. Take a sweater. The gondola ride is short, but takes you right to the zip lining area. The suspension bridge wasn't scary at all. It's long and you will have spectacular views. They have all the state flags along the way. Find your own and tag them. They have a kid area with a carousel and a few other games. The carousel is free. The other games are not. They have food available throughout the park. At the entrance, you can find healthier options like salads. By the suspension bridge, they have BBQ. They also have snacks and ice cream stands. We encountered Rocky Mountain sheep grazing. They don't look like what a I imagine a sheep looks like. They are dog friendly throughout the park. Parking is on site and plentiful.

Unbiased R.

Yelp
I really hate to give this place such a low rating, however $68 to enter for one adult and one small child is just ridiculous! The bridge is kind of cool, a free gondola ride is included. But no where near worth it. The food on premises is borderline uneatable.

Stormtrooperhero 1.

Yelp
Would have been 5 stars if the service here wasn't so depressingly horrible. Go ahead and try and stop my paralyzed 88 year old grandmother from getting a refill

Jacque P.

Yelp
The Bridge of lights are a waste of money, they made it sound like an extraordinary experience and charge 40.00 per car. I'm super disappointed and have seen house lighting that has way more going to n than this. We drove over an hour to see this and spent less than 10 minutes driving across the bridge to be turned around on one side and sent back across. It's NOT worth 40.00 or the time to go see it. Never again!

Hope W.

Yelp
Do not visit with anyone with mobility issues! The park has no seating anywhere except the restaurant. There is little no shade as well. My 82 year old mother roasted and ached in the sun waiting for the gondola and then had to get out on the other side to find zero benches or seating. On the way out employees forced her to take the long way out through the gift shop as if the painful visit warranted souvenirs. Definitely not worth the $37 per person.

Sebastian B.

Yelp
Came here and left. This has seemingly turned into a theme park type destination. We did not see it being worth spending $35 each to walk across the bridge. There is nothing really to do for our 14 month old twins. Maybe when they are older and able to enjoy the couple of rides included in the admission price, it may be worth spending $140.... or not... I am pretty disappointed as this used to be much less money and an all-inclusive family attraction. In my opinion, it turned into a money grab now. Save your hard earned dollars and spend it on some of the other great attractions in the region

Lexey H.

Yelp
Staff is rude and free rides are never open. Only the ones that cost money. I would rate it 0 stars, if I could.

David P.

Yelp
Pretty cool experience and history lesson. We would suggest taking the gondolas over first then walking the bridge back. I'd your are not afraid of hiking 300 feet of elevation take the bridge first. Thrill seekers will like the zip line, the sky coaster or climbing the face of the gorge.

Darcy B.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery and a gorgeous drive. If you are looking to sped a ton of money then this is a great thing to do for your whole family. But the prices aren't pra tidal for many working families sadly. One day when we don't have littles we may return.

Jeremy B.

Yelp
What a spectacular view‼ I've been wanting to check this place outside since I first saw it on Instagram about 2 years ago. We finally made the 2 hour hike down from Denver and I must say it's totally worth it. Of course we came the day before this historic blizzard , so the wind had this bridge literally doing the wave. I made it half way across before a strong wind gust helped me change my mind. It's truly a breathtaking sight to see. The little cafe inside has beer and wine for my seekers of libation. I recommend you bring your own snacks or lunch. We'll certainly be back during the summer to cross the bridge.

Anastasiia H.

Yelp
It's amazing place ! I don't have enough words to describe how beautiful it was there, even in November. In this place you can flying in a train and jump over the gorge like a bird, also you can eat local cafe. Only it's was very windy and we didn't get to enjoy all the entertainment there is. Next visit we will plan for a summer time)

Isaac A.

Yelp
We visited as soon as they opened, so there weren't a lot of people. We started with the Gondola ride and enjoyed the views. After reaching the other side, we walked around a bit and watched the movie (though we missed some of the beginning). There were a few places to eat, but we got there before lunch and I think only the cafe was open. The gorge is huge and you can see the running river and train tracks far below. The bridge was interesting and has state plaques for you to take a photo by. There are, of course, great views from any point on the bridge. There were items we didn't check out, but looked like they'd be fun for the kids: playground, carousel, and a small pond. There are tons of other things to do like traverse the gorge via ferrata, zipline, swing across the gorge, and ride some huge swing; but we didn't do any of that and were tight on time. I'd like to see it again in the summer, hopefully with food and music going. The water-powered clock wasn't running at the time, but I'm sure it is fun to watch when it is warmer outside. Parking was convenient and the bathrooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and we had no issue.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
It is super annoying to return to this place after three years to find that they do NOT disclose what attractions are closed that are included in admission prices. But of course, the gift shop with overpriced bubble wands and the $6 dip n dots are staffed, but not the carousel. Ridiculous. Too much money up front to find out that the kids can't do what is free and it's turning into another money grab after you have walked in the door.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This place is an experience, so maybe it's worth the 30+ dollar entry fee, but when you bring a family of 5 so you're dropping $160 at the door. Not much left for doing the other things they charge you for. Then the little cafe think ballpark pricing! However, there are things you get just with your entry fee. The gondolas sound fun, but the windows seem dirty and very scratched so kind of not the best view. Of course, there is the bridge with is certainly breath taking. Royal gorge is truly a place of immense natural beauty, and the park does it best to exploit every dollar out of us just to see it.

Tyler H.

Yelp
Must check this place out. Stunning. The ticket into the park also gets you a ride on the gondola, which offers spectacular views!

Mary-Kay B.

Yelp
Expensive Not as advertised No walking trails inside No hiking trail inside The employees inside the park are not friendly or helpful. Stopped to get an adult beverage- all foam, guy " working" stated CO2 hasn't been used or cleaned The refrigerator beer was Luke warm and he suggested we come back later. This was 3 hours after the opening of the park Not worth the entry fee or our travel time. Very disappointing. Views were pretty but you can get the same views in the parking lot at no cost.

Matt H.

Yelp
Cool spot, Colorado bucket list destination, great way to scare the hell out of anyone remotely afraid of heights. Cross the bridge via walking or gondola. Get to the highest point and take it all in. This is one of those 'once is enough' places, though. Great views but somewhat anticlimactic and they're very much trying to milk it with the kitch-y, touristy vibe in the gift shop, and food & drink stalls. You can really experience the whole thing in 10-15 minutes. I took my time, but I'm not sure it added anything to experience. Also I had to change my pants after walking the bridge and looking down, so that added a few minutes.

Erica E.

Yelp
Adult tickets are $35pp and it includes the gondola across the gorge, when the whether is good. We went two hours before closing and it was a bit too windy, so we couldn't ride the gondola. It was a beautiful walk across the bridge, with every state flag, people zipping past on the zip lines and flying back and forth on the swing. Looking down over at the river and train track was really wild, as you could feel the bridge move because of the sway in the wind. Definite must see!

Jay B.

Yelp
Gorge-ous! I've been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Rafted the Arkansas river as well and had a great time.

Sterling T.

Yelp
WASTE OF MONEY! If you want to see a valley with a river from way above, you should go to the royal gorge in New Mexico- DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Just to walk across a bridge it's $37. Admission is not included if you just want to ride the zip line ($50) or skycoaster, so the total price would be nearly $100 for 5 minutes of "fun". The attendant at the admission desk was unfriendly and did not try to resolve the situation.

Rhessa V.

Yelp
We went here on a nice sunny weekend and wasn't too crowded. Their entrance/ visitor center is very modern and clean. They have a souvenir shop and restaurant inside. The line for gondola ride was short and is unlimited. The ride itself was fairly short but smooth and the views are awesome. To save energy, it is better to take the gondola car ride first then go down from platform and walk or ride the trolley across the bridge vs walking uphill from the bridge to the gondolas. The park is very dog friendly. Many people were with their dogs walking on and off the bridge and even riding the gondolas with them. The walk across the bridge which is made of steel and timber deck is not too scary for someone scared of heights like me and was actually pretty cool. There are US state flags lined up alphabetically along the bridge. We saw some bighorn sheeps grazing. We spent about 2-3 hours here. The $35 per person is a bit steep in my opinion.

David I.

Yelp
If you go and have small kids don't do the bird/raptor show. I don't have small children, but the woman hosting the show was extremely cringy when it came to families with small children. She would take these incredibly long pauses and stare down families with kids because a small child might have been talking and then would take sigh when she would go back to taking. She did this multiple times throughout. If the kids were such a distraction to her she should have addressed it before she started or maybe be polite and ask them to step out. I know me and the people I was with were all uncomfortable.

Nora S.

Yelp
We didn't stay for any of the attractions, just came to walk over the bridge and look at the gorge. It seems really touristy with all of the extra attractions, which are extras of course. None of them were open when we went, so it wasn't crowded. However, as we walked back across the bridge, several tour buses had arrived, and it was beginning to get much more crowded. The view from the bridge is dizzying. Because the bridge has gaps in it where you can see the gorge under your feet, I did get a bit of vertigo. I suppose that's the fun of it. Don't worry. The bridge is solid and the gaps are much too small to be of any danger to anybody, even a child. But do keep a tight hold of your phone because they are large enough for one to fall through.

Damian E.

Yelp
Me and my wife did the Zipline tour, our guides were Emmy and Kaylee. They were extremely fun, engaging, and confident, we felt very safe and entertained under their watch. Hopefully we get to see them again when we do the extreme Zipline course!

Alisa J.

Yelp
The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is awesome! So many amazing sights and so much fun! If you're passing by the area, stop by to at least walk across the bridge! It's so cool! We couldn't ride the gondola because of the wind, but the trip is still worth it 100%! The gift shop is also really nice and there's a food court and a movie theater.

Karen L.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, the royal gorge is a beauty of nature. But it has been turned into a money pit. Just to SEE it, you have to pay $37 PER ADULT. They try to justify it by including access to their park and gondola. If you want to zip line you need to pay an extra $50 per person on top of the entry fee. They even have walls built up on the sides of the entrance to ensure you have to pay just to SEE something that nature made for free. Unreal. When I was a kid my folks were able to bring us to this for free. I tried to do the same for my kids and this is what I found has been done with it.

Yelp
I'm a little torn on my review of this place. It is definitely a cool thing to see if you are in the area, but lacks a bit of variety once inside the park. I'm sure pre- COVID, the activities were a hopping. That can't be held against them. I just feel like for what there is to do and see, the price of entrance should be adjusted accordingly. Basically, you pay a pretty penny to walk across a crazy high bridge. You can choose to do the gondola ride that is also included in the price, but the wait time for us that day, was an hour and a half! Imagine if capacity wasn't limited, as it is now, how long the wait time would be?! *I did get to see my Big Horn Sheep hanging out on the mountain side, I counted that as priceless. Overall, great to check off the ol'list of must see's, but don't expect to feel all warm and fuzzy afterwards.

Yelp
Nice place. We rode the zip line it was awesome, but we weren't offered a go-pro to record. I was under the impression the camera was attached to the harness. I wanted a video of my daughter going down. When I told them I wasnt offered a go-pro, I was called a liar.

Yelp
The highest suspension bridge in Cañon City is truly remarkable. I remember visiting often as a kid and haven't been in years. The visitor center is your welcome to the Park. It's very beautiful and well organized at getting people to the bridge, having a snack or shopping for memorabilia. One can even purchase decommissioned state flags and one just happened to be available on the day of our visit. $30/pp park entrance fee includes access to walk across the bridge, visit the Theater and Museum, a take a ride back on the gondola (pretty much how we made our way thru the park). Enjoy a picnic at the park or purchase a BBQ lunch (which is just a wee bit pricey). If visitors want to take in the Gorge by way of zip line, sky walk or via ferrata, there is a fee. Zipliners must be at minimum 150lbs. It was a great day during our visit.
