Great price for a clean simple room! Quiet, and was able to park right in front of our room. No frills, but comfortable and clean. I will be staying here again.

Be aware of Coral, the owner. She's honestly a very kind woman until money is involved, then she's a shark. I prepaid for three nights while my daughter was in the hospital. A few hours after I checked in I was told I was actually able to stay in the room with my daughter and my dog in the hospital. So I asked Coral for my money back. She said she could return only two nights and that seemed fair. I went and cleared out my room which of course I never used other than to wash my hands. When I went to check out I asked if she could return the pet fee and she absolutely refused. She ended up charging me $120 for a room I never used. The original fee was $68/night. It felt terrible being screwed over by this smiley friendly woman. The nicer hotels in town that offer a free hot breakfast are less than this rundown place. Coral if you're reading this, you should be ashamed of yourself!

I've stayed at (couldn't even guess the number) so many small owned hotel/motels that they've all just kinda blended together. This is hands down one I will remember, the owner is amazing and the rooms and the whole location fit my needs perfectly. Theirs really nothing more I could ask for. The big fancy places have theirs perks and all. But speaking with the owner here made a big impact on my whole trip. Super friendly and just real to who she is. I'm super happy I decided to stay here. If your looking for a bunch of non sense that most people don't use anyways then this isn't the place for you. But if your looking for a comfortable spot where the owner and her family actually care and will do what they can for you, then this it. This place should be an example/standard everywhere. I hope whoever reads this, knows that a man from Oklahoma. Who has stayed at literally the most expensive room you could possibly think of as suite in multiple states, but also in places that were basically a cot in a room. I truly wish I could find more places like this. But, come with an open mind and actually wanting to speak with someone who cares. My opinion is nothing to others, but I will do my best to stay here for any reason in the future.

During a recent trip to Arizona, I had the unexpected pleasure of staying at the Royal Host Motel in Las Cruces, NM. I hadn't booked a room in advance, a decision that seemed regrettable as I was turned away by over half a dozen other motels, all of which were fully booked. Close to midnight and prepared to spend the night in my truck, I stopped by the Royal Host Motel purely by chance, after finding no luck at the inn next door. The office lights were on, but the door was locked, and no one appeared to be inside. Resigned to my fate, I was ready to settle in my truck when the motel owner approached me. She explained that she had been assisting another guest, hence her absence from the office. This gesture of approaching my truck and offering assistance was my first indication of the exceptional service that defines the Royal Host Motel. We exchanged pleasantries during check-in, discovering a mutual connection to the Texas Gulf Coast, which added a personal touch to the experience. The room itself was a pleasant surprise: meticulously clean and well-maintained, stocked with all the essentials. It was evident that the owners take great pride in their establishment. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the room's A/C was off when I arrived. However, even on a hot June night, this did not pose a significant issue. I turned it on, took a refreshing shower, and by the time I was ready for bed, the room had cooled down considerably. Overall, the Royal Host Motel exceeded my expectations. The owner's hospitality and the care put into maintaining the rooms made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's a place where I would feel safe staying with my family, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you're passing through Las Cruces and need a place to stay, the Royal Host Motel is a gem worth considering.

It is so nice to be greeted by a smile and efficient processing for my room after a long day on the road. The room was clean, simply and comfortable. The shower water was hot upon turning the spigot on, the towels were soft and absorbent, and the bed was plenty comfortable for a night's sleep. All in all, I will consider Royal Host Motel when passing through this area of Las Cruces, New Mexico again.

Friendly welcome. Good room, fully equipped, very clean. Had to sign to have found 7 towels in my room. Have counted - seven. Didn't have any evil intentions anyway. Who am I? Nonetheless full recommendation. Would come again.

We stayed here for our final night of the Big 2022 Road Trip. This was our second stay at the Royal Host, the previous one in 2008 when our son was a toddler zooming his tricycle around the parking lot and walkways. The three-bed room was a welcome sight after a long month of travel, and we were greeted by the manager and the kittycats just as if we'd stayed there last week instead of 14 years earlier. Looks like we'll need to stop here more often when traversing I-10.

This is a great little classic mom and pop motel among several others on this section of Picacho Avenue in Las Cruces. Wonderful old neon sign out front. The entire property is clean and well kept. The owner/manager is very nice/friendly and customer service oriented. Aerial, the sweet resident motel kitty is there in the front office on many occasions to greet you as you check in or out. The spacious rooms are in very good shape - clean, bathroom/shower in good working order, air conditioner blows cold air, etc. Classic old school motel, probably built sometime in the 1960s but very well maintained. This place has character. Would much rather stay here than in some ubiquitous chain motel where you might pay up to twice as much. When we stayed in August 2015 it was around $50 per night plus tax. We'll definitely stay here again when back in the Las Cruces area.
