Hotel Room Review – Royal Inn & Suites, Goose Bay We stayed at the Royal Inn & Suites in Goose Bay and were disappointed with our experience. Within the first five minutes of checking in, we had found that the box spring was broken and could not be repaired for the duration of our three-day stay. The rooms were also not very clean, with visible stains on the sheets, which was concerning. At checkout, we were told the hotel had conducted an investigation and that we would not be charged for the broken box spring, even though it was already broken before we entered the room. While we appreciated not being charged, it was frustrating to feel as though we were initially being accused of damage that had already occurred. Considering we paid approximately $2,900 for three rooms for three days, the overall experience did not meet expectations for the price. For the cost, we expected better room conditions, cleanliness, and overall quality.

I had an excellent experience at the Royal Inn. Moe went above and beyond to ensure my concern was handled properly . He reviewed the cameras, took the time to investigate, and followed through exactly as he promised. His professionalism and commitment to great customer service truly stood out. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay and I highly recommend both the Royal Inn and Moe for their outstanding service.

We booked a night here for a Valentine’s getaway, but it didn't really hit the mark. We showed up at 2:00 PM and our original room we booked wasn't even clean yet, so they ended up swapping us to a different room. The new room was big enough for the two of us, but there was zero Valentine’s vibe—no decorations or anything special. A few things were also just "off" with the room: the tub had a slow leak and the TV was tiny, laggy, and shoved into the furthest corner away from the bed. It was fine for a place to crash, but for a holiday stay, the lack of effort was pretty disappointing.

I am always put in the same room. Room 14. If ever you are here avoid room 14 since its the most loudest ceiling. It made me sick and restless due to the sounds of foot steps upstairs even during midnight. Also, the guy receptionist is not welcoming the indian one, that I ask for an early checked-in but He strongly unwillingly say "wait for 2 and a half hour without offering nice words and tone and seat" I still have to ask if the seat is available since it looks a private please he just said "yeah, you can stay there" it sounds that I can't. When I went out to kill time and come back, I directly ask him if im good since its about 2 and still I have to wait. It is okay to wait... but the tone and the way he answer is not so welcoming. But I comment the girls ans one white guy for they are nice and welcoming and concerned.

As we had a 1 night layover at the airport, we chose this thinking it would be the typical airport hotel experience. It was not. It is a comfortable, updated property much nicer than we anticipated |In our month long journey, it was by far the best night sleep we had. Beautiful setting with updated facilities. The onsite restaurant was wonderful, no need to travel anywhere

My husband just stayed here for a few nights, when he showed up to the room 1 of the 2 beds was broken so he called the front desk only to be told there was nothing they could do about it. Fast forward to check out they tried to charge him for the bed saying he broke it, also the rooms were not cleaned & the door barely latched because it had clearly been kicked in previously. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the service is absolutely terrible.

Lovely hotel! Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Room was perfect! Had everything we needed and more. Hope to visit again one day.

Honestly loved our stay at the Royal Inn + Suites! It was beautiful the cozy heated floors, heated towel rack, and the most gorgeous tub 🛁 made it almost feel like a spa. We stayed in the Signature Suite, and it was so cozy 😌 The staff were super friendly too, and I loved that Mamattuk Restaurant was right on the same premises. The food was amazing!

This place rocks. I was super pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The staff was super friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate my fur baby as well. There was a little gift bag for him. I will Be staying here whenever I am in Goose Bay!!!! I highly recommend to everyone

This is a little off the beaten path in the small town of Happy Valley-Goosey Bay, NL, but certainly a great place to stay. The prices are a little higher than the other places in town, but there is certainly a difference in quality. I stayed in one of the efficiency rooms with a single bed which featured a mini-fridge and microwave but no stove or I think even a hot plate. Maybe this is better for safety for all involved though. The small sink and other bits though would serve to make some frozen dinners or maybe canned soups if needed. The bed was comfortable after working some long days and the bathroom always clean. The complimentary breakfast here is not all too bad. There is a lack of any warm protein like an egg or sausage, but there is a good supply of cereals, toasts, bagels, and yogurt. I also liked the home feel have after real bowls and a sink to put my dirty dishes in (although I felt generous in just putting them straight into the dishwasher). As well the WiFi here worked very well for me even though I was at one far end of the building. The TV had several channels, even though I think one night the picture was a little fuzzy. It still served as a good background noise as I was getting ready for the day.
