Went here for dinner yesterday and it as a delight!! We had cumin lamb, Dan Dan noodles, wonton in chili oil, and Peking duck. Food quality was amazing!!! The only thing is service is a little slow because there was only one server for the whole restaurant. She is a sweet older lady but I felt bad for her. Peking duck takes time to cook so call ahead to save some waiting time!

Google
Delicious! Everything was very tasty. We had the duck, cabbage with mushrooms stir fry, Chinese broccoli stir fry, sesame chicken, and the grilled whole fish. Every item was cooked to perfection. The fish was very flavorful and had lots of vegetables in its broth. The duck was cut table side, came with sauce and other fixings. The vegetables were the best, so fresh and crisp. Great spot for amazing Chinese cuisine. Service was very friendly and ordering was easy. Definitely recommend.

Google
All three dishes we ordered were as good as we expected. The flavor of Ma La Zhu Er was superb and big portions. The Peking Duck was delicious. The boss lady was very friendly and attentive. Will revisit to try other dishes. If you want to order Peking Duck the best way is to call 1 hour advance since it will take longer time to prepare the dish.

Google
Absolutely delicious! The Beijing roast duck was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and full of flavor. Loved the thin pancakes, sweet bean sauce, and fresh scallions that came with it—perfect combo. Definitely a must-try if you’re in town!

Google
the peking duck is absolutely amazing. they carve it in front of you and offer for you to take home the duck bone carcass (which we always do, and then make duck bone soup). every dish we ordered was delectable, you can’t go wrong with anything you order. some other stand out dishes were their scallion noodles, hot and sour soup, beef scallion pancakes, and their custard lava bao. I’ve been looking for a restaurant (with little success) that can make these dessert lava buns since I had them for the first time in September 2022 in San Fran. look no further because this restaurant can make any Chinese dish you’ve had and exceed all expectations. plus the waitstaff is impeccable, the main woman, Renee, is so attentive and helpful. she remembers us from the last time we were here and took us in even when it was 30 minutes to closing time (so so grateful) AND the food was still incredibly fresh, hot, and made to order!

Google
The Royal Kitchen is a great restaurant for Peking Duck...and most certainly a few other things. Tonight, we started with wontons in chili sauce and steamed chicken feet. The chili sauce that the wontons were served in was perfect. I think you could serve just about anything in it, and it would be great. The chicken feet weren't as tender as a normal dim sum restaurant, but they were cooked to order. Royal Kitchen doesn't put itself out there as a dim sum restaurant so it's understandable. The Peking Duck was wonderful. It was served traditionally and carved table side. We were very familiar with Peking Duck but not with Salted Pepper Duck Bones. Our server was trying to explain what they were when the owner passed by and was kind enough to just add them to the order so we could try them. I'm glad she did, they were excellent, and we would have completely missed out if not for her. If you like traditional Chinese food, and particularly Peking Duck, this is a place you'll want to try. Their prices are reasonable, and their service is great. We were there for an early dinner on a Thursday and they had plenty of seating.

Google
We love searching for authentic Peking duck in every big city in the US because my husband is a huge fan of Peking duck! On our third day in Dallas, we dedicated an afternoon to Royal Kitchen, and it was totally worth it. The portions are big, and the flavors are spot on. The crispy duck skin dipped in white sugar and sauce was rich but not greasy at all, very authentic and even the girl sit beside me ask me what I ordered. The duck soup made from the leftover bones was incredibly flavorful, and we somehow managed to finish an entire duck, which is very big one, between the two of us! We also loved the sizzling crispy rice with chicken—so crunchy and flavorful! The lady who served us was very welcoming, and hearing her Beijing dialect brought back memories of my time studying in Beijing in 2012. Highly recommend!

Google
5/5 stars! I'm so glad I tried this restaurant based on Google reviews - it truly delivered! The Peking duck was hands down the best in the DFW area, served with housemade wraps and thin, perfectly textured pancakes. The noodles with pork and garlic sauce had just the right amount of sweetness, and the QQ texture of the noodles was addictive. The pig ears and cold cut beef were also standouts, with the beef being tender and flavorful. Huge shoutout to the owner, Renee, who was an absolute sweetheart! Service was top-notch and every dish we ordered was delicious. We cleaned our plates (literally, no leftovers! 😂), and I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic, mouth-watering Chinese cuisine

Yelp
Royal Kitchen is absolutely superb! I truly have not had such authentic and tasty food in years. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and provide a very welcoming but quick service. The restaurant itself is very clean and one can easily tell the overwhelming love that has been poured out into this restaurant. An absolute MUST try!!

Yelp
Local Beijing-er here! I would give it as the best pecking duck I ever had in the states. Truly authentic 北京人认证目前全美最好吃的烤鸭,才58一只,虽然要等他们现烤,但真的很值得。太地道了,大伯大婶也都是老北京,人很实在,强推爱吃烤鸭的姐妹来!

Yelp
I've been here twice already and I'll keep coming back! The last time I came, we didn't have to pre order the Peking duck. This time around they told us to preorder to avoid the 20-30 minute wait time. Peking duck (5/5) Xiao long bao (2/5) Walnut shrimp (5/5) Combination fried (4/5) the first time we had it was better Duck soup (5/5) The service was okay. I wish we didn't have to preorder the duck but I understand. I think the first time we were more impressed by this place. Overall, it's good for their Peking duck. I'll come back to try the dim sum next time and hopefully update my review.

Yelp
The place is clean and spacious, and service is decent. However, very Overpriced dishes compared to its portion. $43.99 for a small dry pot frog leg, not worth it at all. The beijing roast duck is just so-so, the meat is kinda dry and lean. It also lacks flavor, all the flavor comes from the sauce on the side. I will probably not drive 30 minutes to dine there again.

Yelp

Yelp
We came here on the weekend intending to get some dim sum, but it looks like the menu has changed since its opening. Either that or we came on the wrong day. Oh well, we ended up getting some other food and it was good enough. Everyone in the restaurant ordered a peking duck but with just two of us, we didn't feel like committing to that. We ordered a beef flat noodle and a salt and pepper fish for lunch. Both come out pretty quick. The beef flat noodle has extra wide rice noodles, sauced well and tender beef. Didn't quite have as much wok hei as I would like, but still good. The salt and pepper fish had a great crunch and great batter on the fry, with that signature S&P taste. Portion sizes are pretty good. Staff is friendly and plenty of parking in the plaza.

Yelp
Royal Kitchen in Plano, TX is a great no-frills Chinese restaurant. We ordered the Stir Fried Pork Tripe with Cilantro (香菜炒肚丝), Vegetarian Cauliflower in Dry Pot (干锅花菜(全素)), Beef Flat Noodle (干炒牛河), and Beijing Roast Duck (北京烤鸭). I highly recommend all the dishes we tried! I loved the stir-fried pork tripe with cilantro. The cilantro and the scallions perfectly complemented the savory, juicy pork tripe. The flavor of this dish was also very "authentic" and reminded me of comforting home-cooked Chinese food. Don't let the tripe scare you-- it's got a great chew and is very common in Chinese cooking. I also loved the Cauliflower in a Dry Pot. This dish was definitely a bit spicy so beware if you have a lower spice tolerance. The tender cauliflower soaked up all the aromatic spices and flavorful oils of the dish. The cabbage, green bell peppers, and scallions were all perfect additions! I will say that the dish is very oily and greasy-feeling which isn't the best (but this fragrant and spicy oil contributes to making the overall dish delicious). The Beef Flat Noodle was your standard stir-fried beef with flat noodles. Savory, with very tender beef slices, and oily flat noodles. I do think that this dish could've used a bit more salt. Finally, the Beijing Roast Duck was delicious. The duck came with some thin pancakes, sweet bean sauce (aka Tian Mian Jiang/甜面酱), scallions, and cucumbers. It's always so fun making little Peking duck pancakes with the sauce, vegetables, and duck slices. I would recommend adding an order of the pancake and the sweet bean sauce because you definitely will need more of it given how much duck you get! The roasted duck itself had very crispy yet fatty skin and juicy meat. At the end of the meal, you can also ask for the duck bones to be made into a soup with cabbage and tofu (for $10 extra). This soup was so flavorful and comforting! I highly highly recommend getting both the roast duck and the soup!

Yelp

Yelp
The place is new and clean but the table were not wiped down properly. Very limited Din Sum options. The one we did order were not eddible. (Frozen and re-heated but was not all the way) We ended up only taking a bite and leaving the rest un-touched. At over $6 a dim sum dish I expected to at least be able to eat it. We also order the tenderloin beef with pepper sauce which tasted ok. The sauce was good but the beef was definitely not tenderloin. It was tough and chew. low quality meat soaked in baking soda to tender. Definitely do not recommend this over priced spot.

Yelp
Overall, it was just ok. Went for a dinner and it was nice and clean. Service was good. Food I would say is hit or miss. It's expensive for what it is. + Peking duck: good and authentic where they cook the remainder as either a soup or stir fry - tofu skin rolls: poorly seasoned - shumai: large but also poorly seasoned + snow pea tips: good - Chow fun: lacked the smokey flavor and over cooked noodles - Chinese hamburger: lacked flavor + Lamb roll: good flavor

Yelp
The only place I will go in DFW area for Peking Duck from now until I keel over. It is beyond delicious and they do it right. They cut it in front of you, and serve the first few skin pieces with sugar. SO GOOD. The duck always has the right proportions of crispy skin to fat to meat. You also get the option to do what you want with the duck bones-- either duck soup (which is SO good and comforting and makes a great leftover meal if you pair with vermicelli), seasoned bones, or just take the bones home. We always get the Roselle tea (herbal and a little sweet, flavor is great). We love the fish fillets with tofu in chili oil. And for my favorite dessert, I recommend the Tianjiu. So good! We come maybe twice a month at this point and I bring all my friends.

Yelp
My fiancé and I have been coming to Royal kitchen in Plano for special occasions or a nice dinner for a while now and it is a favorite of ours. The Peking duck is phenomenal: succulent flavor, crispy skin. We also really enjoy the cumin beef and sautéed green beans. The service is very personal and feels like special treatment every time. Highly recommend! Call ahead if you want the duck prepared.

Hailey L.

Yelp
I am from Beijing and this is the best roast duck I have seen in Dallas! Give it a try!
google avatar

RIZA L.

Yelp
We came to try the peking duck and it was good!!!!pork pao bun's bread was so soft and served warm. Braised Pork belly had tender pork and had the five spice flavor. Lastly we had the yangzou fried rice which to me was just regular fried rice because it had spam in it and was missing the flovor compared to others i have tried. Then the shrimp fried rice was something i could have had by itself because of a smokey flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
It's good for the first try!The Peking duck needs to be reserved one day before. The vegetable mixed different kinds which is good.

Yelp
This was my first time trying this restaurant. It's very spacious and clean inside, and the service was amazing! We got the Roast Duck, and for me this was the best duck that I have had in all of DFW, and I've had it many places. Amazingly tender and flavorful! The chef carved it table side which was a great touch. The presentation was beautiful! We also got the Dan Dan noodles and the shredded potatoes. Both were also very flavorful and delicious. Grateful I got to try this place, and will definitely be back!!

Yaya M.

Yelp
Royal Kitchen has the best roasted Beijing duck in DFW. The duck is sliced at tableside, exactly how it is served as in Beijing. The only trick is that you need to pre-order this dish, a day before weekdays, and an hour and a half on weekends. Servers are friendly and prompt. Restaurant is clean and well decorated.
google avatar

Yelp
We came in around noon and the restaurant was completely empty. The previous Hunan restaurant here has since changed into Royal Kitchen - they specialize in serving Beijing-style cuisine that's commonly enjoyed by royalty (i.e. Royal Kitchen). I'm pretty sure this is the first of this type in DFW. The restaurant is still large and every table can seat 5+. They only have a digital menu on tablet which is also how you order. The menu is available in both Chinese and English. Some dishes must be reserved ahead of time due to limited availability such as the Spicy Hot Pot (麻辣香锅). We didn't know this when we visited, but the chef was still able to make the dish for us despite not calling ahead. So, when in doubt, just ask! Rice costs $2 per bowl. We ordered Scallion Exploded Lamb (老北京葱爆羊肉), Seafood with Japanese Tofu (铁板海鲜玉子豆腐), Roujiamo (肉夹馍), and the Spicy Hot Pot (麻辣香锅). The scallion lamb was almost amazing - the lamb was super soft and tender, but the dish was a little too salty. The tofu dish was okay - the Japanese tamago (egg) tofu was soft and flavorful, but pretty normal overall. The Roujiamo wasn't really a Roujiamo, it was more like a 肉大饼. The spicy hot pot was absolutely amazing - I completely understand why you should order ahead. There was a lot of variety in ingredients and each one was top of the line freshness, flavor, and spice. I'll definitely come back to try the rest of their order-ahead dishes. One thing to note was that they give pretty big portions and the prices were fairly appropriate for the value given. Our party of 3 paid a total of $88 dollars before tip and we probably only ate half of our order.

Lilly C.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night for Beijing duck. Food was amazing for its price, would recommend coming back again! Renee and other servers are very helpful and nice!
google avatar

Charles Cas-Michel G.

Yelp
It was absolutely wonderful!!. If you want non-Americanized dishes please be sure to ask for no sugar. The host was graciously accommodating about me joking about having to pay for rice. "I told the hostess that the food was absolutely delicious, but that the rice was a little bit bitter" And when she said, bitter? I said yeah, cause we had to pay for it. [Rim-shot]

Yelp
So I've given this restaurant multiple opportunities (both dine-in & take-out) since they're fairly new & have been struggling, but this time is the last time. Last time we got take out, they handed our order to a different customer & offered no apologies. This time I called for take out 6PM on a weekend. Renee told me to text my order to a different number. Had to follow-up to make sure it was received & was put on hold & had to ask repeatedly how long the order would take. When she wouldn't tell me & told me to check my text, I told her I could not read Chinese & asked if she could just tell me since we're on the phone. If they were busy & couldn't take my order, that was fine & I could go elsewhere. She responded back with "Fine, you decide, 45 minutes." So I decided. I'll take my business across the street to East Wall or Lucky City where it's a straight forward ordering process with standard wait time of 20 minutes & no mystery on how long it'll take.

Yelp
Walking in the door transports you to Asia "If you've ever been there you know " and for me that's a good start the service was excellent fast and accurate . The food was authentic as American Chinese can be lol but really good ! And the portions gave us take away as well. We were looking for a good place close to home and this fits well

Katie H.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! A charming family-friendly hole in the wall, their food is so authentic, consistently top quality and packed full of flavor with generous portions. My family and I always get the dry fried green beans and cumin beef, but their duck is their speciality and absolutely worth coming for, they'll make the leftover duck bones into a soup that legit tastes like home in a bowl it is true comfort food, you won't be disappointed coming here!

E M.

Yelp
Subpar food and the vegetables are not fresh. Have to order a whole duck. Place is spacious
google avatar

Brandon E.

Yelp
The food was amazing! This was my first time here and every dish was delicious especially the Beijing duck. I love how they bring the whole duck and cut it for you. Strongly recommend and will be back.

Martha D.

Yelp
Very good food fresh and delicious, a very very recommended Royal Kitchen, my family love this beautiful place.

Yelp
We had an early dinner here. I ordered sweet and sour fish fillet, dimsum like crispy shrimp rolls and steamed shrimp, hagao. The hagao is bland, need to dip it in soy sauce to taste. The crispy shrimp rolls is delicious, but it's hard. I think it's left over from last night and they re-fry it. The sweet and sour sauce fish fillet taste good, but its too sweet. Service staff is nice and friendly. Well lighted and decorated restaurant. By the way, their jasmine tea is good, but for $5 a pot, I think that's pricey.

Yelp
After coming here with my boyfriend, this has officially become my top dim sum restaurant to go to in the DFW area. The staff and owner are so welcoming, kind, and efficient with their service. Anytime we needed anything, they were right there to check on us and provide what we asked for. The inside is spacious and beautifully decorated. The booths are also very comfortable. The restroom is also clean and has a cool sink design. We ordered a large variety of dishes including clams in black bean sauce, eggrolls, beef shank and tripe in chili sauce, mala crawfish, Chinese broccoli, sticky cakes, and pork xiaolongbao. Everything was SO good and I am so excited to return when I'm in town again. I especially loved the crawfish and the beef shank and tripe in chili sauce, I could not stop thinking about these dishes in the days after. We also tried their homemade peanuts, which were served warm and fresh. The sticky cakes for dessert were also the perfect amount of sweet and chewy. I am incredibly excited to return when I'm back in town. They also have big round tables for larger parties to share food in the traditional Chinese way, which is awesome for when I want to bring friends.

Yelp
Food and service was very good! I really like the peking duck. I definitely be back!!!!

Tara M.

Yelp
Food was excellent. We ordered the whole duck and it came table side prepped. Duck was amazing, skin was so crispy and you had the option of taking the bone home. Hand pulled noodles were amazing and fresh. Definitely try the whole peking duck and spicy hand pulled noodles with bok choy!

Jason f.

Yelp

Derek V.

Yelp
Very good food. Roast duck was awesome! The cumin beef was really delicious and spicy. Service was also very nice
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
My husband and I loved this place! The duck was exceptional!! The skin was super crispy and also came with sugar to dip which I never had it that way before. But it just works! The pancake was super thin. Probably the thinnest pancake I've ever had with duck but I prefer it thin. The owner was super nice and talked to me about how they age their duck. I highly recommend this place. We live in Uptown but will definitely make the drive again.

Caren Z.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at this Chinese restaurant--the Beijing Duck was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and tender. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ordered takeout and overall very pleased. Online ordering easy, huge selection. Pork egg rolls were decently crisp despite travel time, and you could actually taste the different filling ingredients. Gyoza didn't travel as successfully (styrofoam container with no hole to vent steam so they were a little soggy). No dipping sauce served with it, so kind of fell flat. Orange beef had terrific punch and flavor. Chicken in Szechuan sauce was also really tasty. Wasn't spicy, and did not see a way to indicate desired spice level with online order. The two entrees came with choice of white or fried rice. Went with the more flavorful fried rice and was good without taking away from the proteins. Overall solid Chinese food, will try again.
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
Went with some friends to try this place. Everyone was amazed at the food. We had the cumin lamb, soup dumplings, pork buns, black bean noodles, twice cooked pork, snow pea leaves, vegetarian dry pot, salt and pepper shrimp, and of course the duck. So so good.
google avatar

Bret C.

Yelp
I went specifically for the Ma Po tofu and it was far beyond my hopes. The tofu was soft, yet firm enough to easily be eaten with my clumsy left-handed American chopstick skills. The sauce was perfectly spicy and built up to a four sneeze finale. It was a nice accompaniment to the hot and sour soup that was slightly more hot than sour. An order of shu mai helped temper the heat of the other dishes. The location is a bit unfortunate as the store front faces a large Tom Thumb parking lot rather than Parker or Independence so it's not easy to notice driving by. Once inside, the decor is simple, but clean and comfortable. A TV was airing a documentary about plants in Chinese that I didn't understand, but enjoyed watching.
google avatar

Jenni V.

Yelp
Food is ok, nothing special. 2 of the dishes we ordered was apparently not available half way into our dinner despite the server confirming that it was. The server had this doesn't give a f*k attitude about her (we were Chinese). The atmosphere was dark and the interior was similar to a restaurant in an underdeveloped area of China (cheaply done and not very clean). There seems to be a lot of talk about this restaurant online and reviews recently. Unfortunately my mother in law fell into the online influencer talks and here we are lol.

Serene C.

Yelp
We just went to this restaurant and was very pleased with our experience! We actually found out about this place on Instagram as the place was featured for its Peking Duck. It was definitely a highlight dish. They come to your table and carve it in front of you. You get the skin dipped in sugar first which I hadn't tried before but it makes for such a wonderful bite. The fattiness and crispiness of the skin combined with the sugar makes for a heavenly, caramelized, salty and slightly sweet bite. The rest of the meat and skin is served with pancakes, scallions, cucumbers and duck sauce which you put together yourself. You are also able to bring the duck bones home if you'd like or pay more for them to use it in a soup I think. Anyway, we enjoyed the other dishes we got and some highlights were the three fresh delicacies which is eggplant, potatoes and peppers that's a popular Chinese dish, the egg lava custard buns were some of the best I've had in the States, the squirrel fish was nice and unique. Note that some dishes like the Peking duck you do need to pre-order. They don't have many servers, at least when we went so service does take awhile but it was good and worth the wait. We had pre-ordered crab fried rice but they ran out of crab so they used lobster instead and only charged us for the price of crab which I thought was very generous. I was also impressed by their vast menu selection. You order on an iPad and they only give one per table so that was also different. The salt and pepper squid was just alright but other than that we were pretty happy with everything we got. Will definitely return even if just for the Peking duck!!

Yelp
They are open on Christmas day. We went in for a late lunch around 2pm. They were busy. We were sat in the large dining room. Nice decor. We were given a tablet to pit in a electronic order. We shared beef eggrolls and beef pancake rolls. Delicious. My husband couldn't get enough of the pancake. Said it was the best Chinese dish he's ever had. I ordered the General Tso Tofu and added fried rice for $1. The sauce was so yummy. The tofu had a great creamy consistency. Hub ordered orange beef. Said it was so spicy, but so good. He even took the leftovers, which he never takes leftover beef home. We will be back!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! The Beijing roast duck was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and full of flavor. Loved the thin pancakes, sweet bean sauce, and fresh scallions that came with it--perfect combo. Definitely a must-try if you're in town!

Yelp
Stopped by Royal Kitchen for their grand opening this past Saturday and was looking forward to a dimsum place a bit closer to home. Most of the dimsum offerings were okay, but I was most disappointed by the turnip cake. I'm not sure if it was just that day, but the turnip cake was super mushy and even though visually the pieces look like they had been panfried, there was no outer crunch at all. It also was pretty bland and didn't come with any dipping sauce, so we ended up using the chili oil instead. The pork and century egg congee was fine. The portion size for the fried dough was substantial and I like that they chopped it up for us to put in the congee, but each piece was super crisp most of the way through, which isn't typically the texture I expect for fried dough. The beef chow fun was pretty good, not quite as oily as some other establishments, and the crispy shrimp in chicken was huge and juicy. Not too flavorful on its own, but it came with two dipping sauces which was nice. Not sure I would return for dimsum as there are better options in the area, but since the menu is so extensive I would probably return to try some of the other Cantonese dishes.
google avatar

James Z.

Yelp
New dim sum place in tucked away in a shopping complex. It was pretty solid overall with some pretty good dishes and some other okay ones. You order off the menu, so things come to you fresh as they are prepared. They have all the classics, and we particularly enjoyed the chicken feet, tripe, congee, shrimp balls, and sticky rice in lotus leaf. Those were pretty fresh and served hot. Thought the rice roll was a little thick and overcooked, black bean ribs solid but lacking sauce, and egg tarts looked good but had a very strong buttery aftertaste. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with everything and it's nice to have a dim sum option in this area of town that actually specializes in dim sum. FYI, It is a little pricier ranging from $7-10 per plate and it does add up.

Yelp
Had dinner on a weekday night and it was very quiet. Only 2 other tables came in when we were there. The service is quick and friendly. You pull the menu from the QR code and then place your order on it. Once you are done eating, you can click to tip and to close out your order. You pay the waitress instead of the website. The menu is extensive and shows photos of the food. This is really nice and useful! We tried the salt and pepper tofu - great texture, not very much pepper or salt flavor. Beef flat noodle - great portion, tender beef, flavorful Salt and pepper grouper fish - salty, fried, crispy, tasty. Favorite dish. Hot garlic oil eggplant - flavorful, fresh, could have done with more eggplant Would definitely come back. $15-20 per dish with some chef specials were $30-50. Note the tables are set nicely and a little fancy with the white bowls.

Yelp
I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. I'm Asian and I've frequented tons of Asian food so I feel like my critiques are fair. Ordered pick up. Lava buns, shao mai, scallion lamb, bbq pork buns, shrimp Cheung fun, fried shrimp ball, sweet rice chicken. The lady on the phone seemed to have no idea what was going on. She spoke perfect English, so it's not a communication or language issue. She said some of the items I ordered aren't available and then checked the menu and said we can order them. When I was 5 mins away, they called me and said they had to cancel my fried shrimp ball, sweet rice chicken, and shrimp cheung fun. And that's fine if you don't have an item, but why did you confirm it in the first place and then change your mind? When ordering, the lady over the phone asked if I wanted white rice or fried rice with my lamb. She did not say it was extra charge for white rice, otherwise I wouldn't not have gotten it. The white rice I did receive was in really small container. The container was smaller than a typical "small" box that you would order at typical asian restaurants and the small container was only 2/3 filled. If you want to overcharge for small rice, that's your business but they made it sound like the rice was included. The scallion lamb was $20 and more than half the order was onions and scallions with a small portion of lamb. Bbq pork buns were overdone where the bread was too firm and not chewy. The char siu bbq flavor on the inside was lacking and tasted like they used too much soy sauce in their mix. The custard lava buns are $10 for 6 pieces. I only got 3 pieces in my box. One of the 3 buns were really wet and collapsed the outside buns. It's not the steam and moisture in the container because the other two buns were great. It's like they had a bun turn out bad and thought it's okay to serve that. The shrimp shaomai was fine but not special. Overall VERY disappointed. There's tons of competition for asian food in this area and there's a dozen other places I would recommend over this restaurant.

Yelp
My friend and I hadn't intended on coming in for Chinese food, but we both had cravings for classic take out and decided to stop on in. However, we were met with a very authentic and homestyle experience. It was a pleasant and welcoming surprise to me. We were greeted at the front and ushered to a seat where we were very kindly considered and introduced to the online menu. Our server reminded me a lot of my own mom and I instantly came to like this place. The ambiace is rather quiet, as I believe this is a family run, hole in the wall restaurant, which is my favorite kind of business to support! The bathrooms are clean and modern as well. The Dim sum and seafood prices were on the higher end, but because we were considering classic take out options, we were not too concerned. I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli while my friend got the Pork. Each entree comes with rice, and I was very pleased to find that the food was not over saturated with salt and MSG, making for a very genuine and flavorful taste. It was fresh, hot off the stove, and larger than take out sizes! We left very happy, and I will stop back in when I am back in town.

Yelp
Second time we have been here and our daughter here, who is very picky, loves the Beijing duck here. So this is our favorite place to go! We will come here again.

Yelp
Great duck, service, and ordering system. Also enjoyed the eggplant. Went above and beyond to make our birthday special.
