When we arrived I was expecting a complementary drink but sadly that didn't materialise. The room wasn't ready ( which is fair enough we were early ) we weren't offered towels to sit by the pool or anywhere to store our cases or a quick explanation of where the pool was , restaurant etc. |The room was excellent and spacious ( massive shout out for the cleaners so helpful and cheerful whose towel sculptures were so impressive) The rainfall shower in the bathroom was pretty good. Just a word of warning if you put the light on in the bathroom you can see in through the glass from the outside.|Breakfast was good and in pleasant surroundings. We didn't eat at the pop up bar for lunch so can not comment but I'm assuming it was good.|The pool area was very clean with a relaxing atmosphere. One complaint would be towards the guests that reserved the loungers ( and then usually disappeared for hours) making it impossible some days to actually get by the pool. The management team should do something about this.|It takes 5-10 mins to walk to the Marina ( up and down 43 steps👍) but you can continue to walk alone the promenade if you don't want to do the stairs. There are plenty of nice restaurants there and reasonably priced.|All in all this hotel is relaxing, clean and super quiet and I can't recommend it enough.

There are not enough superlatives to describe how wonderful this resort is. The staff are absolutely brilliant, always helpful without being intrusive. Janilla and Virginia on Reception cannot do enough for you. A huge shout out to Monica and all the restaurant staff. A lovely smile and warm welcome every morning at breakfast. The place is kept absolutely spotless by the cleaning staff and pool area staff. The luxury sun beds are on your private balcony as well as poolside. Thank you to all for making our stay so wonderful…..we will be back!

Arrived home today following our second 10 day stay in Royal Marina Suites. Just as excellent as our first stay. So relaxing, lovely staff, excellent food, such comfortable spacious rooms. We had a top floor room, one of the royal suites. You get the sun near enough all day. I won’t just repeat my first review, but it can be seen on here if anyone is interested. Will be visiting again and wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else in Lanzarote now.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience in Royal Marina Suites.|Room, magnificent. Serviced every day, stocked with toiletries. Spacious terrace with sun-beds and table and chairs. Beautiful breakfast served up every day by the highly trained and pleasant staff. Immaculately kept pool area with jacuzzi. Maintenance team could be seen washing down sun beds every morning. |The hotel itself was a short walk from the marina front with at least a dozen restaurants to choose from.|All in all, a joy to stay in this hotel. Could not fault it in any way.

There really isn't much to say about this hotel that all the other 5 star reviews haven't previously covered. All the plaudits are true!!||It possibly is THE most chilled out hotel I've ever stayed in, and the cleanliness is off the scale!||We chatted to many guests, some who were already planning a return visit or who were already on a return visit, which obviously speaks volumes!||Because it is such an amazing place, there were two things that stood out, which I feel need highlighting||On the subject of returning guests, I feel the hotel is missing something simple. I had booked direct with them and had confirmed my approximate arrival time the day before we flew.. |In my email (and also in February when making my booking), I had mentioned that my daughter, who was accompanying me, was a returning guest from the previous year. |When we arrived, the receptionist already knew our name, as they were expecting us, but his first words were, "Have you stayed here before?" How easy it would be with so few rooms to provide a personal "Welcome back"... or maybe even to place a little note in the room? This was disappointing when it is such a small hotel that prides itself on their customer service. 'Every guest is special'. It would cost nothing but would make the guest feel valued!||Another negative, sadly, is the use of tiny plastic toiletry containers. This was a surprise, especially when the hotel prides itself on its sustainability. (Quote from hotel website: 'Our eco-friendly philosophy is present in all our practices contributing to the preservation of the natural environment around us'). |Wall mounted refillable shower gel/shampoo/conditioner dispensers (as in another boutique hotel I stayed in recently) would remove the need to use the current tiny single use plastic bottles. I was surprised this hadn't been implemented with it being such a new and modern hotel. ||Thank you to everyone we encountered for a wonderful stay.||

I hesitate to award this hotel five stars along with most other reviews, because everyone will want to go. Nearly all we spoke to when we were there were already returnees, and most, including us, intend to go back. Spotless, friendly and obliging staff, quiet, great rooms, handy for nearby restaurants - what’s not to like? Tiniest criticism - while housekeeping staff maintained the rooms to an exceptionally high standard, they were a bit remiss at topping up sugar, cream, toiletries, even toilet rolls, but, hey, nothing is perfect.

Hands up, we haven't stayed here but we were shown around by the management after walking past it on the broadwalk. This really is a beautiful boutique hotel. It has 3 floors with about 8 suites on each. The rooms themselves are very generously proportioned and well designed. They all have double balconies which look out to sea with sun beds and a table and chairs. The pool area also has a small gym, a nice lounge, a pool bar and the restaurant which is used for breakfast. The whole ambiance of the hotel is one of romantic designer luxury. With views straight out to sea and the Marina of Puerto Calero it's a stylish, quiet and relaxed place to stay. If you are someone who likes all inclusive stays, you'd have pause for thought though. No food or drink is available at the hotel after about 6 or 7pm. This isn't necessarily a problem though because the lovely bars and restaurants of the marina are a short walk away. Or you could eat and drink on your own balcony. From what we saw we will definitely be booking a stay before very long to enjoy this quiet, beautifully designed hotel which was only built about 2 years ago.
