I want to start by saying that the palazzo itself is absolutely gorgeous and so worth of your time. The visit can be organised and the rooms have a qr code that you can scan in order to listen to a short history of every chamber.
But the staff is awful! We arrived some minutes short of 7 pm on a first sunday of the month. We didn't know that it was gonna be a free entry and I presume the following attitude of the staff was because of this. Everywhere you search on their site, they don't say which are the visiting hours, so we presumed that eight o'clock pm was closing time, because that is the time shown on google maps!! I don't know what their problem was, but when we were ready to begin visiting the rooms of the palace, one of the ladies started screaming at us to start visiting already! It was barely seven o'clock! Officialy, we still had an hour to visit. Then, her and other members of the staff started wlaking besides us, one of them rattling his keys. They were basically tailgating us. They were closing the doors and windows behind us. We couldn't enjoy or stop for two seconds to admire the art. I need to mention we were not alone, there were others visitors along us. I presume their attitude was motivated by the fact that it turned out to be a free visiting day and they thought they were doing us a service. I don't have the habbit of going somewhere come closing time. But if the only time schedule that you provide, says that you close at 20.00, then respect that, or mention that you close at a certain point. It wasn't even 19.30 when we left il palazzo.
It's a damn shame, because I repeat, the palace itself is wonderful. But with that kind of attitude, they can go where the sun doesn't shine.
