Great value for money! Very clean room. Centrally located…easy walk to beach. You even have access to beach chairs and an umbrella. Hotel provides beach towels and water on demand. Roosters and a dog may wake you up early in the morning but other than that it was great.

This is a good choice for the value and cost. The staff were all very accommodating. We loved that they changed the bed linens and towels daily. Our room, however, was in desperate need of a bathroom remodel. A better quality bathroom would have greatly improved our experience.

The grounds are kept, what you would expect from a resort in it’s price range. Most of the staff we interacted with were very friendly despite us being locals, this was a surprise and I commend Royal Palm staff for treating us as actual paid guests. We stayed in a basic room with a bed size upgrade, but furniture is clearly worn. The room itself was very clean which mattered most. The bathroom fixtures had clear signs of rust. There was what appears to be a drain from the previous shower concealed by the bathroom rug-after a remodel. I’m not sure if this was a sole contributor to a sewerage scent- it was faint at the time of year we visited and could be remedied by keeping the bathroom door closed. Wasn’t a pleasant surprise stepping out of the actual shower onto a rug and feeling a hole beneath. Hard to miss it because the bathroom has vinyl flooring with air pockets forming beneath. Location is central on the island and a convenience store, the single ATM machine and a liquor store are all under five minutes walking distance from Royal Palm’s Lobby. General manager very down to earth and accommodating, he assured us we could reach out to him for any issues. Royal Palm is fine on a budget if you’re only going to be sleeping in the room. No microwave in the lower tier rooms, very spacious closet, room did have a mini-refrigerator and a 32 “wall-mounted TV with a functioning amazon firestick. Budget friendly and kind staff are it’s strengths, weaknesses are outdated furniture, fixtures and plumbing,

Came to the Island for business and was just an overnight stay but the experience has been a lasting one where I have determined that I will not return and any other officers from this Agency will not be booked to stay here every again. The location was not ideal, really didnt feel safe at all. Then there was no running water to take a shower or bath. It would have been okay if at least we had cold water but not even that. Please upgrade. Running water hot and cold is essential. I was very displaced.

After staying at the Royal Palm for more than a month, and having travelled round the world and stayed in some pretty darn fancy hotels, I would rate the Royal Palm top in its class. It's not a big resort. It's not a boutique thingamajiggy. It's a really nicely run small hotel that fights far above its weight class. I still have the signed mug the staff gave for my goodbye party. Tisha, Marie, Devon and Alton (and a few names I can't read anymore!) came and threw the guest -- someone who loves Briland but ain't a personage of note -- a farewell party. They put together a perfect little outside office me as I had to -- GASP -- work during much of my stay. I never had a problem with the wifi. One of my favorite moments-- Easter was coming. One of the cleaning staff asked if I wanted any hot cross buns. I wisely said yes. She brought me a pan of the most enormous and most delicious hot cross buns ever -- anywhere! Why brother and I gave half the tray away to neighbors as we knew we couldn't eat them all. If you love the Bahamas or love doing something your more boring friends might not be willing to try this is the place to stay for a long time. I won't tell you how much I paid but it cost me less than living in Washington DC! I live in Australia now so I don't get to the Bahamas as often as I did before moving, but I'll be back in 2025!

This location is perfect, but it's VERY run down. The plumbing is terrible. No water pressure. REALLY needs to be deep cleaned.|Old furniture in room. Maid service may or may not happen. You may or may not get cable. There's no cutlery in the 'kitchen'. Quirky place. Great location in terms of being close to 'town'. You NEED a golf cart on this island!!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed . Lights went off all night long , which means no phone use , No water to flush toilets or wash hands , no television . Rooms were nasty and very loud and disruptive. KEVIN GRANT is the worst . Unfortunately he runs the establishment. Royal Palm would be better off hiring someone who knows customer service . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
