AVOID THIS PLACE! This hotels pictures do not show the hotel as how it really is! Stay here at your own precaution! The only good thing about this place is that it’s very close to the train/public transport and that it’s dirt cheap. The hotel is dirty, smells of stale cigarettes (even in a non-smoking room), the walls are thin (you can hear other people from your room), and everything looks and feels old and nasty. If you just want to lay your head down for 1 night on a cot like bed, then it might be okay, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for more than that. The bathrooms had rust, mold and limestone along the piping, as it looks like it hasn’t been maintained or cleaned. The room has stains all around which again doesn’t look like it’s ever been clean. We didn’t have a hairdryer, our AC was barely working, and our fridge also wasn’t working. The breakfast is very okay, and not worth staying here for the included breakfast. You’re better off going to the kfc down the street. We booked for 3 nights because it was cheap, but left after the first night because it was so horrible.

Location of the hotel is great in terms of distance from Budapest city center and most of the major attractions.|Keleti Pályaudvar Metro station and bus stops are about 3 to 4 mins walk from the hotel.|There are fair bit of restaurants, cafes and general grocery stores are around.|This hotel is profoundly misleading, and fails to deliver on its most basic promises. The reality is a far cry from the advertised photos.|The carpets are stained and dirty all over the place. The room walls have visible dust. The (spring) beds are very poor and cheap. Basic amenities, like a kettle or adequate wardrobe space, were absent.|The most weird thing is one wall of the bathroom is of a transparent glass panel which is then covered with a shabby screen. I haven't seen this before in any hotels. The bathroom latch doesn't work, so couldn't lock it from inside. So using the bathroom was an awkward experience.|The most sad part of this hotel is the breakfast. Very basic menu but poorly presented, no enough variety, stale fruits and pastries, dry bread, over done scrambled eggs. Noticed fair few maggots flying around the fruits and bread. I could hardly eat anything.

This is not a four star hotel. |Things that were broken....the hair dryer, the key card twice. The safe. The curtains, the phone, the fridge.|The staff on reception were rude.|The bathroom has a hand soap dispenser like the ones in public toilets. |We reported all the issues three times. They were never looked at. When we complained we were accused of lying about ever mentioning the issues.|Receptionists were rude and abrupt. |The breakfast was dreadful. Eggs cold, bacon raw....|For an apparent four star hotel there are no tea or coffee making facilities. |Avoid this place.

We stayed in room 411 and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. There was no hot water at all and the hair dryer was in such poor condition that it seemed dangerous to use. We only discovered these problems in the morning before breakfast, so we didn’t report them to reception. Sadly, breakfast was also a disappointment – the sausages and eggs were served cold. From a hotel in this price range and location, we expected at least basic comfort, safety, and a decent breakfast, but we didn’t get that.

The main selling point for this place is that it's cheap and close to multiple public transport lines, including the train station. The personnel were kind and helpful. They offer an underground parking space for cars and motorcycles; just be careful that it only fits smaller cars (something like an Audi A3 or Dacia Logan will fit just fine). The breakfast was good, a nice option for the price paid. The cons, unfortunately, are many. First of all, the rooms are small. The furniture is old and showing its age. Other guests didn't use it properly, and there were signs of wear and tear. The lights were bad. You needed to turn on all the lights to see something in the room. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable; the mattress was too stiff and the pillows too soft. The air vent used for air conditioning and heating was filthy, filled with dust and never cleaned. The walls were dirty from older guests but never cleaned. There was limescale built up on the tap, sink, and shower. At night, the place can be sketchy. A lot of homeless people, loud noises. Keep an eye on your belongings and pay attention to people in the area. For a single night, it can be okay, I guess, but for more than that, you are better off looking somewhere else.

We booked this on a deal, so wasn't expecting much. It is definitely not a 4* as advertised. But it is absolurely fine to get your head down for a couple nights. Staff were courteous. Breakfast was fairly good with a good mixture of choice. Beds were not terribly uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean and everything you need. Id say it's on the edge of where you'd want to be. We jumped in an uber most days as they were cheap and far easier. Would recommend for a short stay

It is a great place to spend a night or two when in Budapest. I love the location as it is very close to everything from restaurants to the train station and bus stops. I have stayed here a few times and I have no regrets

The hotel is absolutely unacceptable. They haven’t given us any toilet paper or water even though we asked for them. The rooms are very small. We are not a couple and they put us in the same bed. We wanted them to clean better, and the woman just brought us the cleaning supplies so we could do it ourselves… Also, for the breakfast, each platter has only one piece of food, while there are 7 people waiting in line for a single piece of toast… Believe me it’s not worth even one euro that we paid, especially for 3 days — it’s not possible to stay there even for one day. I’m absolutely disgusted!!
