We recently stayed at the Royal Park Hotel for a lacross tournament. The team stayed elsewhere, but we wanted a place that was charming & a bit more upscale. The Royal Park was exactly that. They were incredibly welcoming from the moment we entered the hotel. The grounds were decorated for Christmas and the interior was beautiful. Our room (king no balcony), was ample with a sitting area, great marble bathroom (shower only, no bath), large closet and beautiful furniture. The only negative is that house keeping didn't come our first day, so our waters were not refreshed and our room was not made up. Not a big deal. The bar/restaurant had a wonderful prickly pear margarita and the breakfast was terrific (eggs benedict). The nightly rate is below many hotels we would normally stay, so we were thrilled with this. I would definitely stay here again!

On behalf of America in Bloom and Orion Township, I want to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Royal Park Hotel for a truly amazing conference experience for our 160 attendees. From start to finish, the hotel provided a fantastic and seamless event that was enjoyed by all our attendees. The facilities were exceptional, featuring elegant spaces for our sessions and lovely common areas that fostered networking and connection. The food and beverages served throughout the event were nothing short of phenomenal. What truly set the Royal Park Hotel apart, however, was the staff's incredible hospitality. Every member of the team, from event coordinators to the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure our conference was a success. Their attention to detail was apparent at every turn. We were especially impressed by their kindness and willingness to accommodate our unique needs, such as storing rental bikes for our team for early morning trail rides. This thoughtful and flexible approach truly made our stay special. If you are planning an event, we highly recommend the Royal Park Hotel. Their team will work closely with you to make every request and vision a reality, providing a level of service that exceeds all expectations. Thank you, Royal Park Hotel, for helping us host an unforgettable event.

Overall a nice stay. We stayed for a family birthday celebration that was quite nicely done. Rooms and property were beautiful (beautiful showers + chaise lounge in room!) and very clean. Nice toiletries. It seems they have many events and that’s the primary focus. Friday night arrival was a madhouse, with only one bellman, and the front desk agent not super friendly. They should staff up more for these busy times. All other staff were very welcoming. Had some good drinks at the bar. It’d be nice to only charge for valet parking with it being a suburban property. Nice to walk or make the short drive into downtown for the cute shops and restaurants.

The Royal Park Hotel is absolutely amazing! This was our second time visiting for a special occasion. Our last visit was during the holidays at Christmas, and the experience was just as memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are truly exceptional and welcoming. The location is perfect...close to restaurants, shops, walking trails, and a beautiful park. You can really park your car and walk to everything you need. Yes, it's a splurge and expensive, but it is absolutely worth the price for a special treat once in a while. Highly recommend!

The Royal Park Hotel is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in! My bride and I stayed here after our wedding this past weekend and we were highly satisfied with our experience. The staff was very friendly. Our room was impeccably clean. The bed was the most comfortable ever. It was reasonably priced, too. Thank you Royal Park Hotel for a great stay!

I booked two rooms at the Royal Park Hotel to make my daughter and husband’s visit to Michigan special. Each room was over $500 for just one night, so I expected excellent service to match the high price. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but.|First, we were surprised by an additional $20 parking fee per car — an unnecessary charge on top of the already steep room rates. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, which was also highly priced. While the servers were kind and accommodating, the food was underwhelming. I had been told we would receive a dining credit, but when checking out, I was informed the credit only applies if you aren’t staying at the hotel. In other words: if you pay more, you get nothing back; if you pay less, you get a discount. That policy makes no sense.|To make matters worse, at checkout we were hit with an additional $15 per room “amenities charge.” When I asked what this was for, I was told: Wi-Fi, AC, etc. I honestly had to laugh — isn’t that the absolute minimum one expects from any hotel stay? Should I expect a fee for breathing next time? For making the reservation itself?|By that point, we just wanted to leave. I even forgot my phone charger in the room, but couldn’t bring myself to go back — I half expected there would be a charge for retrieving it.|For the cost, this hotel should have provided quality service and value. Instead, it felt like every step of the way came with an extra fee, poor communication, and disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The scenery where it’s located is amazing. Breathtaking and the food at the restaurant inside is delicious. Check in the lady was so kind and friendly . Checkout same thing. She was kind and friendly. I love that! Second stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it.

Loved my stay here. I'm from the west coast, so my internal clock was all off. I got to know the night attendant, Bianca and she is a gem of a person! Helped me with all my 3am snack needs. Customer service was on point with everyone. Can't wait to come back. The rooms are super comfortable. Recently remodeled, and done well. They have an amazing staff here. Thank you!
