First of all, I want to say that the STAFF at Royal Pyramids Inn were truly amazing. If my rating were based on staff alone, I would easily give this place 5 STARS — largely thanks to YOUSSE, who went far above and beyond anything one could reasonably expect.||Right at the beginning of our stay, my mother lost an important bag containing essential medication. Youssef worked tirelessly until around 3 a.m. to replace all of it — including prescription-only medication. I'm incredibly grateful to him for his dedication, responsibility, and genuine care. In a very stressful situation, he handled everything with calmness, empathy, and determination, and that made a huge difference for us! ||The positives:|Besides the incredible staff, the rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely presented. The beds themselves were comfortable, and overall the hotel felt well maintained for its category.||However, my main issue — and the reason I can’t recommend this hotel — is the noise.|The property is located directly next to a massive highway, and our rooms were not insulated at all. The noise level made it feel like sleeping right by the road itself. As a light sleeper, this meant I could not sleep at all without heavily medicating myself, which I strongly dislike doing.||If you are sensitive to noise, stay away from this hotel!||The breakfast buffet offered a reasonable variety, but almost no suitable options for lactose-intolerant guests (like me) or vegans (for that matter). The few things I could eat did not taste particularly good. The only standout was the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was excellent.||Considering the price, you may get what you pay for. Our tour provider booked the hotel for us otherwise I would have not stayed here.||We also left for one night and returned for another stay. We were explicitly promised a soundproofed room upon our return, but were placed in a room that was just as noisy — if not worse. This broken promise ultimately affected my rating. Had this been handled differently, I would have rated the hotel 3 stars.
