Royal Ruka Hotel & Restaurant

Fantastic experience. We found a family home. Get up and find a mom smile that arranged the super breakfast and arrange all for be a GOOD MORNING. the hospitality is fully with the service as sauna and the very good services of the restaurant.

We went to the restaurant a few days ago. Not very cosy. We reserverd for a buffet but there was no buffet. Not a big problem for us. The service was nice but they didn't always understand what we were saying in English. Food was nice.

Good looking hotel. The living room is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Staff is super friendly and always here for you. Roomes are clean, with a great view on the nearbye mountain. The breakfast is perfect. The Lapland dinner is a must do ! Reindeer tongue taste awesome, as well as the À La Carte dinner. Products are fresh. There's even a sauna, that is heated to perfection (85°C). You honestly can't ask for more ! Thanks Royal Ruka Hotel ❤️

Our third stay at Royal Ruka was as great as or even greater than the previous ones. Nice and clean rooms and other premises, good, calm location with beautiful view, excellent food and wonderful personnel, especially Irmeli who is the heart of the hotel. Thank you, we will come back!

We just had a perfect three-night fall-break with my wife and daughter at Royal Ruka. It happened to be quiet season: there were only few other customers with us and we got full attention from Irmeli and Krista. Service was very good and attitude so positive. We felt more of visiting home than a hotel. ||Breakfast was very good and dinner was splendid. We had lapland buffet on thursday night. Delicious dishes made at the restaurant of local ingredients. Various fish and cold-cuts for starters, a soup in between, reindeer and vendace for main course, cranberries for dessert. Every piece was so good and it was plenty!||During the days we did snowboarding at Ruka, also walked on top of Konttainen hill for sight-seeing. Nice outdoors activities.||Hotel room, dining area, lobby, area with fireplace were all cosy and clean. Nice view to hills. Sauna is great.||Thank you Irmeli and Krista, we warmly recommend your hotel!

Pleasent hotel with beautiful view||Royal Ruka situates just beside the extremely beautiful hill of Juhannuskallio. The view from the restaurant and hotel rooms is marvellous. The staff is very friendly, the athmosphere warm and nice - and the food in the restaurant is super delicious. Especially I could recommend the Lapland dinner with local specialities.

We had a wonderful weekend at Royal Ruka. The hotel has cozy but luxurious atmosphere, very nice and fresh food, clean rooms and easy access to different tracking trails. The hotel's personnel is great, lovely Irmeli took extremely well care of us with her warm and professional way. Thank you for a great weekend!

Beautiful view from the hotel, great location, skibus stops near the hotel. But the best was Hotel Manager Irmeli, she made us feel welcome and special, as i believe she made every guest feel. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Room was big, nice, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again! =)
