Very welcoming and friendly staff. Attended for s comedy show, theatre is of a good size for big crowd and still personal close by feeling. The seats are somewhat packed and very narrow, quite steep steers as well, I have seen elderly and ladies in high heels having lots of trouble navigating the isles.

Have been there multiple times, and recently watched Hades… Carré is a stunning historic venue, with its elegant decor and intimate atmosphere, makes every performance feel special. The acoustics are fantastic, and the diverse lineup, from musicals to concerts and circus acts… it never disappoints. Great service and a prime location by the Amstel River add to the magic. A must-visit for anyone in Amsterdam, a pure delight from start to finish! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Royal theatre and surrounding area is absolutely stunning, especially at night. Standing over the bridge on a warm evening and soaking in the views, light reflections and boats cruising across. There are loads of little precious gems you can find in and around the city without having to travel far. Amsterdam is a true multicultural city with amazing architecture. Must see!

We went to Carré for a stand-up show and had such a great time! The theater itself is beautiful and right by the Amstel. The staff were also super helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Yesterday we visited Royal Theatre Carré to watch Hadestown. We chose the arrangement that included a three-course dinner. Atmosphere: Both in the theatre and the restaurant, the atmosphere was wonderful. The nostalgic setting is truly impressive. Service: The staff was excellent. We felt like VIPs throughout the entire evening, both during dinner and the show. Food: The food quality was very good. The three-course dinner offered enough variety for both me and my vegetarian wife. Theatre: The theatre provides an amazing, authentic experience. Opened in 1887, it breathes history and culture. Personally, I did have an issue with the legroom in the loge, as my height (196 cm) made it difficult to sit comfortably for a longer period.

We watched Hadestown and it was a wonderful, uplifting musical—beautifully produced and entertaining from beginning to end (in English). The bar area is stunning, and the food and drink options during intermission are excellent. The location is also perfect. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and truly a must-see in Amsterdam

A great venue to catch a show! Been here a few times and have always enjoyed myself. The venue is beautiful and well maintained. Sound quality is great throughout the venue and the staff are always kind, going above and beyond to help.

It is one of the most beautiful theaters in the world. Next to a canal in a beautiful historic neighborhood. The auditorium holds some 1700 guests. Fairly large. Beautifully decorated and with comfortable seats. During intermission, we found an array of delectables. There were the regular like champagne, wine and beer. Plus nuts, chips, and coffee. There was also ice cream. The play we watched was Haedes Town, and it was epic. The quality of the performances was world-class with astounding performers. The audience was easy to exited and it quickly became ecstatic. One of my ever best events O was gifted to attend.
