A beautiful venue with wonderful acoustics ❤️ I saw James Vickers opening for Madeleine Peyroux, there. They were amazing ❤️

Great performance by Rick Mercer and friends. Lots of laughs 🤣. If you have tickets up in the balcony be mindful the stairs are steeper than normal, so if you're carrying drinks in both hands up the stairs, take your time.

Enjoyed seeing Come from Away at the beautiful Royal Theatre in Victoria. Found parking at the Public Library on Broughton and had a beautiful dinner at Browns Social House; all within a short walk to the theatre! A great evening in such a wonderful city! Was happy they eliminated the intermission. To avoid big lineups at washroom. Play was exceptional. Made me so proud to be Canadian!

Beautiful theatre, tons of atmosphere and history. Very good acoustics. Only downer is there are only 2 stalls in the women's washroom.

Jimmie Herrod, conductor Sean O’Loughlin & our Victoria Symphony were FABULOUS last night. Broadway & Beyond had SO many wonderful choices & JHs voice was INSANE. I closed my eyes thru half of it & just soaked it all in. Thank you all! My 2 adds on are: 1. It was shorter than anticipated 730pm - 915 pm including a break. 2. I paid a premium for box seating and my chair, while velvety & pretty had zero springs/ support - I sunk into a chair-bowl . (I'm 5'8" & 150 lb). It feels like 1000 guests have enjoyed them! 😉 Maybe time for repair. 🛠 Regardless ~ the music, entertainment, fun vibe & totally appreciative audience and super welcoming staff made for a great night. 🙏

We saw Jan Arden Christmas Concert a mix of classic Christmas music and her hits. Wonderful venue always a pleasure to see performances here.

Beautiful but very close seats and not much leg room. Views from ground floor are very good!

Nice place, very theater looking, the staff took a picture for me and my mum. The ceiling crowning and chandelier is beautifully designed and I remember here they had a (fake) Trex skeleton for museum promotion.

This is the theatre where the symphony performs downtown. I went here for an opera performance. The theatre is very small. The lobby is also quite limited in space. They had a decent concession going with all the usual suspects. The staff were all very nice and friendly. They seemed to be music enthusiasts themselves, which was nice. Bathrooms are small and old. They need an update. The theatre itself has a lot of character but the floor is very uneven and at such a steep angle to get from the back rows to the front row that I don't see how it's up to code. It seems especially hazardous given the demographic is predominantly elderly.

Nice theater with lots of character, enjoyed the show. They need more bathrooms for the size of the venue.
