Royalton Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

Well today we check out after a wonderful week! We had diamond club upgrade and stayed in building 20 4th floor. Was totally worth the upgrade. We found staff very friendly and helpful and room was very clean. Food was fine. Would like to compliment our butler Mary she went above and beyond to book taxis and excursion, restaurants and was so help with everything. Mary you are fabulous at your job! To Gabriel you were so great to dance with and play some music we like and make our stay more enjoyable! Shady at the bar our favourite bar tender. You Zeldo and Rocky were fantastic and so made our days at the pool so much fun! Definitely would come back to this resort! Only suggestion would be get a new coffee maker for lounge lobby as it was broken off and on all week! Our friends had issues with being in wrong room when arrived but was rectified the next day...thank you! Thank you Grenada Royalton staff!😁

I was a concerned to see some of the awful reviews just before coming here, so would like to add a balanced view after a week's holiday.|Firstly the resort - stunning beach with trees for shade, plenty of sunbeds (that don't get booked by 7am like in Sandals!), not busy at all because it's effectively private for the hotel, lovely sand and easy to get in and out of the sea. Gardens also very pretty. Nice bar/restaurant (Aquarium) a short walk down the beach (not part of the resort, so you have to pay).|The staff - we found them very friendly and helpful. On the other hand, the attitude of some of the customers to any difficulty like a staff shortage on one bar was not good. Basically, if you treat them like human beings, you will get very good and friendly service. Our room was good and was cleaned and resupplied every day. |The food - this is unquestionably the weakness at this resort. It's not bad, just not as good as it should be for a resort of this quality. Booking system for the 3 full restaurants means you have to reserve the restaurant on the app 2 days in advance (first thing in the morning) unless you're in the Diamond Club, or you'll be eating in the buffet restaurant every meal. Strangely, each full restaurant is closed for 2 days a week even though they're always full, which makes it look like they are trying to maximise use of the buffet restaurant (which maybe they are because it isn't a large resort).|Other issues - it's very close to the airport, but there aren't many flights and you won't be othered by them at all - I rarely noticed them and I'm pretty sensitive to noise! Do take a day trip round the island - it's a lovely island and not spoiled by tourism at all.|In summary, we had an excellent holiday and I would definitely recommend the hotel. I'm giving 4 stars purely because I think the food should be better - the resort and staff definitely deserve 5 stars. On the other hand, better quality food would likely allow them to increase prices a lot, so I guess you get what you pay for.

We just came back from 6 nights at the Royalton Grenada with two families totaling 9 people. The property is nicely maintained, dining rooms are attractive, beach front and pools are beautiful. Even during a busy week the resort did not feel too crowded. Gym was a highlight. HOWEVER, there was enough lacking to feel somewhat disappointed. The food was definitely tough. A la carte reservations were hard to come by and it was often challenging to find something pleasant to eat. Food and drink items (once even ice!) often ran out. Rooms were clean and adequate but had a noticeably musty smell, the shower was more of a trickle most of the time, and the walls were the thinnest I've ever experienced. Staff varied from quite friendly to reluctantly helpful. Activities and entertainment were underwhelming. Take home message - we had a decent time, but we would not run back.

We’ve enjoyed a wonderful 11-night stay at the Royalton. After a very short transfer from the airport, we landed in a little bit of paradise. The staff are incredibly hard-working, open and friendly. Food is good, with the bookable Grazie Italian restaurant our personal favourite. Adana makes the best breakfast eggs & omelettes. A big shout out to the gym team of Kelson, Roneisha and Aquinas; the gym is very well-equipped, cool & well-maintained. Best of all, for us, was morning yoga; warm stretches & some mindful tranquillity in the early morning sunshine gave us a wonderful start to each day. Thanks guys!

After reading some poor reviews of the Royalton prior to our departure, I can reassure every future reader that, as suspected, the poor reviews are not at all accurate. Instead, the Royalton Grenada is a fabulous resort at a great location with multiple beaches! It is not often that you can find a good hotel 5 minutes from the airport but it just another perk of staying at this hotel. We spoke to many people who simply walked rather than wait for a shuttle / taxi.||The hotel seems to be well maintained and its employees do a good job each and every day. Are there some areas in need of improvement, sure, but for the price one can not ask for more.||We stayed in a Diamond Club Beach walkout room which was perfect for our lifestyle in building 16. After spending a week walking the resort building 16 is probably the best location, near the pool and minimal stairs or hills to climb. Our butlers Jamie and Chantal did a great job all week long, ensuring there were very minimal thirsty moments. ||The food at the al la cart restaurants was good, the diamond club breakfast overlooking the ocean was a nice touch. As expected, the food at the buffet was average at best although we didn't eat there much.||Overall it was a great week and good times were had by all, no complaints. If you are thinking about booking the Royalton but are hesitant because of some of the negative reviews, ignore the reviews and make the booking. You will not be disappointed, provided you understand it is not the Four Seasons.||Happy travels.....

The hotel is beautiful but the reservation system for the restaurants is terrible. We either end up with no reservation of after 9pm. The front desk says we have to Delete and redownload the app and cannot book for us. I don’t want to Spend all day on my phone trying to Get dinner. Our room is rarely serviced to The point where we had no toilet paper on our 4th day. For the price tag on the resort it should be better. We used the spa and our massages were amazing but the spa itself is very small. The people are all very nice I think the hotel just needs to get more employees and fix how they operate.

The resort was amazing and the food was great. I had a lot of fun at the pool. The rooms are spacious and the cleaning is good. I had a great time at the gym with an instructor named Aquinas. He is one of the greatest instructors I have ever worked with and very kind and polite. Would recommend and if you come you should come check out the gym and meet Aquinas, Kelson and roneisha.

We stayed at the Royalton Grenada from 5.12 to 12.12.2025 in room 14-308, which had a stunning view and was one of the highlights of our stay. The location and views are beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time at the beach and in the water. However, the beach was often dirty with plastic, which is disappointing given that it is promoted as a turtle hatching ground and should be kept especially clean. Lifeguard presence was inconsistent. Service throughout the resort was weak. Many staff members seemed disengaged and frequently on their phones. Reception was not welcoming and provided very little information at check-in. We only found out at the end of our stay that excellent yoga classes were offered, but they were never explained or promoted. Management visibility was low; instead of calling rooms, managers should be present in restaurants and speak directly with guests. Electric service carts drove around day and night with loud reversing beeps, which affected the overall atmosphere. That said, we did feel safe at the resort thanks to a strong security presence. Food quality was inconsistent. The omelette station at breakfast was a highlight, but dry meat and cheese, bacon running out, missing allergy labels, and impractical syrup service were disappointing for a resort of this level. The Taj Indian restaurant lacked authenticity, while the lunch buffet, especially the pasta station, was a pleasant surprise. The room had a great view but showed wear. Blackout curtains did not close properly, the bathroom trash was never emptied, and the do not disturb sign was not respected. Simple additions like feet-washing stations near the beach would help reduce sand in rooms. Checkout was poorly handled. The bell boy never arrived for luggage pickup, so we carried five bags ourselves after being told checkout was strictly at 13:00. A feedback card was filled out, but no one acknowledged it. The resort credit felt misleading and had to be requested at reception, offering little real value in an all-inclusive setting. The garden and landscaping team deserves praise for keeping the grounds clean and well maintained. Overall, the resort has great potential and a beautiful setting, but improvements are needed in cleanliness, communication, staff engagement, and overall management. We will be sharing this feedback directly with Marriott.
