"Why we love it: An all-inclusive resort with enough restaurants and activities to satisfy the whole family The Highlights: - Reservation-free dining at four on-site restaurants included in your stay - The Clubhouse Kids Club, with daily activities at no extra charge - Diamond Club perks like butler service, discounted spa services, and access to a private beach The Review: Opened in March 2020 on Tamarind Bay, Royalton Grenada brings a trusted brand to the Spice Island. At this all-inclusive property, just like at other Royalton Luxury Resorts, everything from no-reservation dining and drinks to non-motorized watersports, a variety of workout classes, and access to tennis courts, pools, and a pristine, white-sand beach are part of the stay. Guests can also look forward to an international buffet at Gourmet Marche, plus a la carte options like Taj, an Indian-inspired restaurant; Grazie, an Italian trattoria; and Ma Maison, a French bistro. There are even five bars and two cafes. Perfect for families, the resort features a supervised kids’ club for children ages 4 through 12, as well as activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and live performances at an open-air theater. When adults need a break, there’s the Royal Spa, complete with a hydrotherapy circuit and full range of massage, facial, and body treatments. At 269 rooms, Royalton Grenada is one of the larger properties on the island, but accommodations are still sleek, done up in whites, woods, and royal blue accents. Each has either a balcony or terrace, plus a rain shower and Royalton’s signature DreamBed. For guests wanting a bit more, the on-site Diamond Club offers larger suites that include access to an exclusive beach and pool, an upgraded room service menu, butler service, discounts on spa treatments, and admission to the Diamond Club Lounge, which is filled with complimentary snacks, appetizers, and desserts."

My husband and I returned to the hotel (formerly The Rex Grenadian) to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary. Having got married at the hotel 25 years ago we were very excited to be able to book here once again, and the experience of our stay was wonderful. We booked to stay in the Diamond Club and the whole stay was amazing, the room was wonderful and the staff truly make the experience magical. We were very fortunate to be assisted by Noley and Ted, our designated butlers. They went above and beyond our expectations in making our stay a relaxed and amazing experience. Their attention to detail was second to none, and this was demonstrated wonderfully when helping with the arrangements for the surprise vow renewal (thanks to Sherry and her colleagues - wedding planners). The whole team at the hotel are simply wonderful and friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting some staff whom still work here 25 years on, including Devon, John and some of the catering staff. Other staff members excelled including Alysha, our chambermaid, who did an amazing job in making the world's most crisp and neat bed every day! Other staff who went above and beyond included Anesha and Makeda (Italian restaurant), Karla and Franklyn (pool side bar) and the amazing ground staff. who keep the grounds looking immaculate (apologies for misspelling of any names). |The staff truly make your stay that extra bit special. We were served a wonderful variety of food whilst here and the whole experience is second to none, including the snorkelling - wow!

If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton then look elsewhere. This is a very nice, affordable vacation. The staff here was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom very nice as well. The restaurants are not 5 star but they are more than adequate. The staff is beyond exceptional, everyone was friendly and smiling always said hello when they passed by and sincerely cared about our experience. We always felt safe and the beach was exceptional. Notable staff that went above and beyond Terry from the vibe team Devon our server from Grazie and the beach Deleon from the buffet Giovanni from Martini mix Thank you Royalton for a wonderful experience

Solo trip for my birthday. Diamond Club guest. Customer service overall could have been much better did not have the greatest experience. However, excellent service from my butlers Quaver & Deshona. They made my birthday extra special and made my stay worthwhile! Special thanks to Quaver as I spent more time with him only due to shift patters, such a lovely, genuine and kind human. Deshona, such a sweetheart. Beautiful souls, both with a passion for what they do which shines through. Thanks to them both for making my stay a memorable one!

The customer service was commendable, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, the dining options were somewhat limited, and the establishment missed a valuable opportunity to enhance the guest experience, with more regular authentic meal selections When it comes to room cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom, improvements are needed—it could always be cleaner. On a brighter note, the location is exceptional, surrounded by beautiful landscaping, and the overall property is well-maintained, enhancing the aesthetic appeal. The spa experience was nothing short of amazing, offering a much-needed retreat. Extremely close to the airport - so close you can walk. However, there were some issues that detracted from our stay. The transport service and the fire alarm system in building 13 require urgent attention; waking up to the fire alarm two consecutive days was quite disruptive and unacceptable. Additionally, I must caution those with disabilities to think twice about this site. We brought along our disabled Veterans, and unfortunately, it proved to be far from accessible for those with mobility challenges.

Lovely staff and service. Everyone was extremely attentive. Beach was the best. You can see the sun rise and set. ||I even visited the nurse for an insect bite: impeccable service. The doctor came within 10 minutes and they administered medical attention with prescription on hand. ||I highly recommend this resort for solo traveling!

We decided to select this Royalton because it was an all-inclusive and it was just a quick family getaway. We decided to upgrade our room which I don’t end up getting my discount on the upgrade - which you are supposed to get because I booked through Expedia. The room was ocean front walk-out on the main floor. Room: The room was beautiful….when we finally got it, which took 3 hours to get. Unfortunately, the condensation/humidity got so much in the room, we had to put towels on the floor so we wouldn’t slip and fall. Cool factor… your bracelet opens the doors. Beach: it was gorgeous! Bring your snorkelling gear and also your swim shoes because the rocks are all at the shore. We don’t bring any swim shoes and there were paths/openings to walk through the rocks. Pools: there are 3 pools. All very nice. The one pool is away from the main area. We only went to it one time. If you want to borrow snorkel gear, it is over to the far pool, off to the side. Same with the paddle boards etc. Food: we went to the buffet around 7:30-8:00pm for dinner and most of the meat was always cold and some food they didn’t even replenish. There was not much of a selection as the buffet is small. I think everyone enjoyed Grenadian night - which had the tastiest food compared to other nights. Spa: we booked the hydrotherapy massage as it was advertised on the app on the tv and when we got to the spa, they don’t have a pool for the water massage… it is only a sauna, steam room, and the chroma lights. Butlers: Collette and Lee were really nice. They helped us out on a couple of items and I couldn’t have asked anyone better.

Went to Royalton Grenada for a girls trip. We chose the Diamond Club that came with butler service and had a great experience. Our room had a swim out with an ocean view. We were surrounded by scenic views. There were enough food choices for even picky eaters. We all got relaxing massages at the spa. The entertainment at night was super fun! It was a memorable vacation. I would go back.

Our stay was booked months in advance. Because of last minute flight cancelations, we arrived a day late. We called a day in advance to tell them. When we arrived, we were charged even for the day we did not stay there. Since this was not a prepaid vacation, we could have very easily moved to a different resort. Food service was a little sketchy especially if you don't go to their cafeteria. All of these were forgivable except making us pay for the extra day. I will choose a different hotel when I go back.
