"Why we love it: An all-inclusive resort with enough restaurants and activities to satisfy the whole family The Highlights: - Reservation-free dining at four on-site restaurants included in your stay - The Clubhouse Kids Club, with daily activities at no extra charge - Diamond Club perks like butler service, discounted spa services, and access to a private beach The Review: Opened in March 2020 on Tamarind Bay, Royalton Grenada brings a trusted brand to the Spice Island. At this all-inclusive property, just like at other Royalton Luxury Resorts, everything from no-reservation dining and drinks to non-motorized watersports, a variety of workout classes, and access to tennis courts, pools, and a pristine, white-sand beach are part of the stay. Guests can also look forward to an international buffet at Gourmet Marche, plus a la carte options like Taj, an Indian-inspired restaurant; Grazie, an Italian trattoria; and Ma Maison, a French bistro. There are even five bars and two cafes. Perfect for families, the resort features a supervised kids’ club for children ages 4 through 12, as well as activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and live performances at an open-air theater. When adults need a break, there’s the Royal Spa, complete with a hydrotherapy circuit and full range of massage, facial, and body treatments. At 269 rooms, Royalton Grenada is one of the larger properties on the island, but accommodations are still sleek, done up in whites, woods, and royal blue accents. Each has either a balcony or terrace, plus a rain shower and Royalton’s signature DreamBed. For guests wanting a bit more, the on-site Diamond Club offers larger suites that include access to an exclusive beach and pool, an upgraded room service menu, butler service, discounts on spa treatments, and admission to the Diamond Club Lounge, which is filled with complimentary snacks, appetizers, and desserts."

We travelled to Grenada over Christmas and New Year's 2024 with my family - 2 adults and 2 teens, 17 and 19. We had a wonderful stay and it was a great, memorable experience for our family. The resort is beautiful with well-maintained grounds. The beach is beautiful and it was relatively easy to find beach chairs for the 4 of us every day. Restaurant bookings were a bit difficult in the first days due to availability but that seemed to clear up after the first few days. The buffet was good with a wide variety of foods. Overall, service was good, but a bit slow at times. Staff made a real effort on New Year's Eve - my family loved the celebration - it was lively and fun with a fantastic fireworks display. George and Malcolm of the hotel's "VibeTeam" who arrange the entertainment were great and made us feel welcome. We would recommend this hotel - it was a really great experience for us. Most of our family trips had previously been to another island (Antigua) so we were a bit hesitant to try a new place. No need for that - it was well worth it.

Review for Royalton Grenada Royalton Grenada left little to the imagination – it was absolutely stunning! The resort exudes modern elegance, with breathtaking views and facilities that are truly top-tier. The customer service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The only downside was the lack of authentic Caribbean food that truly showcased the unique flavors of Grenada. Adding more local dishes to the menu would elevate the experience even further. That said, everything else was a perfect 10/10. From the accommodations to the hospitality, Royalton Grenada is a place I’d return to without hesitation!

The diamond club rooms have lovely views, are clean and tidy and the balcony is comfortably large enough to sit and enjoy a cold drink. That said everything else is meh. The diamond club rooms come with a butler that do absolutely nothing for you. Can you make a reservation for us for dinner? Butler: "use the app". Well, it isn't working. Butler: "oh, try again later". We asked for ice each day and never once got it. Requested 3 bath towels each day and never got them. The list of things we asked for and never got became comical. One day our ice bucket was missing but we had an extra trash can that we didn't ask for...still wondering if someone has an ice bucket they didn't ask for. Food is average at best. One day they were out of lemons, limes and diet coke. If you want a nice hotel consider the Calabash, went there for dinner and had major hotel envy.

We have recently returned from our holiday at the Royalton Grenada. The beach is beautiful! The snorkelling out front on a clear day is amazing. The people are warm and friendly. We ate at all 5 restaurants (which are great!). The view of Grazie’s is lovely and you actually eat outdoors which is a treat for Canadians in December/January. ||Our stay would not have been the same without Theresa at the front desk, helping us with reservations (we had a large group to coordinate). Pavel who also helped us with questions and restaurant organization. These two work very hard and have excellent customer service. We also enjoyed the “Vibe Team”. Our last night at the resort was awesome and would not have been complete without the epic dance party with George and Malcom at the helm!! Thank you all at Royalton who made our trip amazing.

Very beautiful quiet island. The food was good and the resort was very clean and structured. Everyone was very friendly. The weather was steady and the ocean was beautiful with lots of seating. In regards to activities and entertainment they were okay however a bit on the tame side. Thankfully we had one young man we met from the vibe team named George he was so fully of energy and made everyone in the room feel alive with his dancing , conversation and friendless. The resort was quite quiet and dead when he wasn't around he was definitely the life of the resort.

My family stayed at the resort. We were initially a little apprehensive as it was much cheaper than the couples resort that we had visited a few years prior. I must say that the Royalton Diamond Club for us was the way to go. My husband got a very bad ear infection that needed medical attention. The butler,Quaver not only ensured he got him in to see the nurse, but followed up every day to see if he was doing better. The nurse, Mary was equally fantastic in getting a doctor to come in to see him and followed up to make medicine changes. The resort grounds were beautiful and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment for adults and children were very fun. It was relaxing and fun. A perfect place to have a large family vacation. Our age group was 10 months to 70 years old and everyone had a great time.

First, off I will say that the hotel staff is for the most part friendly, they work hard, and they are well deserving for the credit that they rarely get. My concern and review goes beyond the hotel staff towards those people that are responsible for poorly managing a resort that is part of the Marriott brand, that has a hand in putting together a vacation package that rips off the consumer. From the moment that I arrived to the hotel, exiting a van that was not even 5 minute drive from the airport- I still have no idea why this service was $86 for 2 people round trip for airport to hotel transportation- this is robbery and it does not make any sense- this should have been $20 round trip easily, but, this is just the beginning. I booked this vacation back in March, paying for a full weeks stay in a Luxury Junior Suite with Ocean View- King size bed room upgrade- as I looked up on Royalton Grenada's site, these rooms were all shown with glorious pictures (as I've included below,) there were images showing a clear view of the Ocean from the balcony/deck, I also signed up for the Free Perks that was part of the package which was supposed to include 2 bottles of wine and an upgraded mini bar an $80 value, which that $80 value I didn't get and reminded me of the quality of $86 round trip airport transport that I paid for and the $300 hotel credits- that coupon booklet was a joke. As I was checking in after another couple that received Diamond Club wrist bands and they seemed to be well treated. As I checked in and I mentioned how excited I was to be celebrating my 50th birthday, the front desk clerk said with a smirk- you're not in Diamond Club, here are your wrist bands. I was shocked- I booked this trip over others as I thoroughly read reviews, looked at Royalton website images, and researched all that I could find on what I was getting, none-the-less I took my things- hauled them up the hill, there were no bellman available, and I went the room. I was put into a first floor unit, as I walked in, I went straight over to the balcony, I almost broke down into tears- because the first thing that I saw was the top of another building with protruding air conditioners with wires with an high arch of the building that was blocking the view of the ocean, I couldn't even see the beach. This is not how you treat people, especially when I booked so far in advance and you don't call a room a Luxury Junior Suite with Ocean View room- when there is a building that blocks the ocean. I lost it, not to mention that mini bar upgrade wasn't there and the room wasn't even ready, this was absolutely unacceptable. I then picked up the phone, spent the next 20 minutes on hold calling the travel agent that was no where to be found. I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager, she was going to charge me for a completely different room giving me a 20% discount- yet she couldn't apply any of the costs that I had already paid for from my package, so I would have had to pay for an entirely new vacation, on top of the vacation that I already paid in full for. This is absolutely ridiculous and I truly feel like I was scammed.

I am absolutely appalled by our experience at this hotel. My family stayed here in October for a much-needed getaway, and instead of enjoying our time, we had our trust completely shattered. Thousands of dollars were stolen from my brother’s room and my sister-in-law’s room. When we confronted the management and front desk, their response was shockingly dismissive. No one took the matter seriously, and we were met with excuses and indifference. It’s clear that the staff either turned a blind eye or, worse, were complicit in what happened. We asked for an investigation, but management refused to look into it. They showed no care or concern for our well-being, and this negligence is beyond unacceptable. I’ve never encountered such unprofessionalism in all my years of travel. Do not stay here—this hotel is not only unsafe but lacks any accountability. We will never return, and I strongly advise others to stay far away.
