This trip to Punta Cana will be a destination adventure I will never forget. From the time I stepped off the plane to the time I left this experience has been nothing short of amazing and fantastic. The Royalton Resort has so many amenities it’s unreal. The location is perfectly centered with other resorts around so you can mingle if you choose to. The atmosphere that this resort present is unmatched like any other resort I have visited. The Royalton makes you feel like a King at the resort and always full of smiles and respect. The rooms are very big with patio and the wrap around pool is so amazing. This trip was very affordable and I plan on returning very soon because you are not able to beat the value of this package. The entire compound was well kept and clean beyond perfect I was amazed with the amount of traffic that goes through the resort you would expect slack on cleaning but not the Royalton it is a very clean and noise free environment. The noise level is perfect and they have a cut off time when the night takes over and you hear the waves. Just an all around excellent establishment with great food and great customer service. I cannot thank the Royalton enough for providing Johnny as my personal assistant while I was there. He was very instrumental in making sure I had everything I ever needed while in Punta Cana. I couldn’t imagine how my trip would have turned out with him. Johnny was heaven sent and I truly appreciate all the hard work he did in assisting me in enjoying every single moment of my vacation. Johnny is the unsung hero of my trip a true assistant who made everything happen fast without any hiccups. I will return for sure!!!

Booked 2 swim out rooms in their “diamond club” total waste of money. The “butler” was useless was never around they use what’s app to communicate. Send a text won’t get a response until 2 hrs later most time next day And when he seen us in the pool he wouldn’t even stop by and ask how is everything. Would act busy on his phone.Most of the workers won’t come over unless you tip them. App is horrible “room service even worse kiddie food burger jalapeños poppers and chicken tenders “diamond club menu” was worse grilled cheese. Can’t get sodas or water through the app. When requested through their app they say it’s food only. Called front desk asked to bring waters and sodas was told 20-30 min never showed up. Called around 10pm to have dirty plates picked up Plates stayed in my room until about 2pm the next day. only got picked up because the “ butler” magically popped up to check on us. Found a bee in the salad I ordered room service. And found a fly in the pasta from the buffet unfortunately didn’t take a photo of that. My brother got sick from their Italian restaurant vomiting and diarrhea luckily it passed in 2 days then my cousin got sick. Old Luke warm food from the day before reheated and served. Was given “$600” of resort credit for each room but couldn’t use it anywhere. Can’t be used for the spa souvenirs nothing complete bull. No waiter/ waitress to come by the room and see if we want drinks had to waste time going back and forth to the bar. I loved the room only because the pool was at the patio. Oh and get ready to be hassled about excursions very pushy to try to get you to go on one. They get very nasty if you tell them you will see them and go to someone else. They give you a “discount” but over charge to sell you at the normal rate the same excursions they push is on the Royalton app and they have the pricing only got and deal because I called them out on it. There were a handful of really good workers which were accommodating and friendly made you feel like family if I go back I would request to have them attend to me. I tipped them very well btw.But with this experience I don’t think I’ll be visiting Royalton any time soon

I stayed at this resort recently and had a really good time overall. The room was gorgeous, super clean, spacious, and felt very high-end. Everything was tidy and well-maintained.||The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I just wish there were more gluten-free options, since there wasn’t much to choose from if you have dietary restrictions.||The gym was great too, very clean, modern, and well-equipped. The staff there were friendly and approachable. It’s one of the nicer resort gyms I’ve seen.||The beach was stunning. The only thing that got a bit bpthering was the number of vendors constantly walking around trying to sell stuff.||The entertainment needs improvement. Last Saturday, I went to one of the shows and the host, Mayra (her name was on her badge), didn’t seem confident or prepared, she struggled to keep the audience engaged and even had trouble running a simple bingo game in English. It felt a bit awkward, especially since she’s apparently the assistant manager. I think the entertainment team could use some better training or leadership.||Also, check-in took forever, but once that was over, the rest of the stay was smooth.||All in all, I’d give this resort 4 out of 5 stars. The place itself is beautiful, the food and staff are excellent, and the facilities are great.

I love the vibe team amazing and friendly victor is very good and helpful. All the bar staff are lovely and helpful and nice. The room we got given was not great but got moved much cleaner and nicer. But alarm going off every night is not the best when you’re away and trying to rest. And reception not helpful really with this. To book in restaurants is a nightmare. But food in buffet is lovely. Just wish there was a quieter section/pool The beach is beautiful and so peaceful definitely the best part of the hotel even with the vendors. Most are really nice.

Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with our room reservation, resulting in an overnight accommodation change before our originally booked room became available. The ocean view from our room offered a partial view of the ocean, alongside a prominent view of the pool. Throughout our stay, we consistently needed to request face cloths and towels. The steakhouse provided an exceptional dining experience. The entertainment was of a high standard, and the casino staff demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. Our butler, Romeo, provided excellent service and kept us well-informed. The club's musical selection lacked diversity throughout our stay, with the exception of the final night, which featured a diverse mix of American pop and Latin music. Despite these minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It's actually sad to be writing this but one of the worse holidays I've ever experienced. We was attending in a big group around 50-60 for a friend's wedding. |95% of the group got seriously ill with sickness/diahera which left you in bed for days. There is no basic hygiene, first day made to sanitize after that absolutely nothing! |Rooms completely smell of mould/damp, was giving a cot for my toddler to sleep in which the mattress was just mouldy. I had them come and collect it while my child shared the bed with us all holiday. |Bathrooms are just full of mould no attempt to even clean them just clean towels put it and floors wiped. Our toilet everytime you flushed sprayed water all over you. |I've had multiple items gone missing from the room and even the balcony as it's used for workers, cars all day long couldn't even enjoy sitting out there. ||Water, electric constantly on and off. Water coming out dirty in your sink absolutely vile. ||Pools multiple tiles missing causing grazing on your legs, baby pool even though has a shade over it let's the uv in and you little one will burn but all around they have soild shading which doesn't let uv in. ||Cups is another level, dunking them in soapy water and rinsing off and then pouring your drink still with rinsed water in them. Food absolutely vile, me and my little one has basically lived on yoghurt and sandwiches from the coffee shop. Buffet food looks to be sat there all day and have flys floating around dead in them. ||Restaurants could never get in with the app or tell you to go to reception which they would say they don't have nothing to do with it. But if you walk up with a baby in a pram they will quickly seat you. Makes no sense ||Staff is just another level most are very miserable and brush you off. Multiple times I was up the reception they was just no help and didn't care. Taken 4 days to fill out a illness form and 5 times of asking for electrolytes to still never recieve them. To be told there are alot of people ill we dont have anymore. ||Tui reps are absolutely no help either just palm you off to guest service. ||Constantly harassed down by the beach by sellers you can't even sit down it's one after another. ||The list could go on forever how awful this hotel is, I would never recommend anyone to stay here unless you would like to get ill.

We moved to Royalton Punta Cana from their sister resort next door, and the difference was night and day. This resort is much bigger, cleaner, and better maintained overall. The staff was friendlier and more attentive, but not quite the exceptional service we’ve come to expect from the Dominican Republic, but still much better than our previous experience. The buffet food was very good, and we were able to snag a reservation at the hibachi restaurant, which was also great. There are several other restaurant options, though some required an additional fee. Nightly entertainment was lively and enjoyable, which really added to our stay. That said, there are areas that need improvement. The pools are in need of resurfacing. Two kids in our group actually got cut by loose tiles, which we noticed throughout the pool. When we first checked into our room, we found old soap and an empty water bottle left behind. The fridge was also empty and wasn’t stocked until we asked. The shower could use an upgrade as well; there was a hole under the bench, and a small cockroach came in and out through it. Overall, despite some issues, we had a really good time at Royalton Punta Cana. With a few upgrades and more attention to detail, this could easily be a five-star experience.

This resort should NOT be an autograph resort. It is quite run down, and the attempted repairs were done poorly. The food quality and taste are not good. The worst experience is the service provided. The location where excellent service was provided was in the diamond club lounge. I would not recommend this resort to family or friends. I could list many reasons, but my time is too valuable.
