Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

Nice resort in a good location with a lovely beach, however there are areas that would benefit with refurbishment especially in the accommodation buildings. When we checked in, we had 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a very strong musty smell. I immediately asked to be moved but that did not happen until the following evening, therefore I was not relaxed and enjoying my first day there. The staff on reception are ok but some need to be more friendly and helpful. 'Service with a smile'. The food is of a good variety and some of the restaurants at the resort are very nice. We particularly enjoyed the Mexican one. There is a food truck near the swimming pools but for the 10 days we were there, they never has the daily specials mentioned on the board. The Royalton dance team are very good and the evening entertainment was enjoyable The vibe team are also friendly and entertaining. The evening bar staff do an amazing job.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel for my mothers birthday and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. While the property itself is beautiful — the grounds are well-maintained, and create a relaxing atmosphere — the rest of the stay did not live up to expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was unacceptable. The baggage handler at check-in treated us as if we were second-class citizens. The clearer complex visitors got their bags brought to their rooms first despite my family and I waiting there before the other visitors arrived. They even got the little carts to take them and we had to walk to building 4 with our luggages. The greeter spoke warmly and respectfully to my white counterpart, but when addressing me, his entire demeanor noticeably changed. The difference in treatment was both uncomfortable and deeply concerning. To make matters worse, my sister and my one year old nieces room had a strong sewage odor that was impossible to ignore. The elevators frequently did not work, which was extremely inconvenient especially for my 82 year old grandmother to get to the 5th floor and the WiFi was unreliable and very slow. Additionally, the cleaning staff did a subpar job — the room did not feel properly cleaned or refreshed during the stay. It’s unfortunate because the beautiful grounds have so much potential, but the poor service, maintenance issues, and unpleasant room conditions completely overshadowed what could have been a lovely experience. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. I must say that the staff at the Gourmet Marché was amazing. Thank you to those ladies.

We had a great time at the Royalton ! The food at the buffet is not the best but the restaurants are good. Cocktails are a little too sweet and wish they were made with real juice, not syrups. Room was nice and spacious, thank you Amanda for your beautiful towel creations and the flowers. Such beautiful views and scenery. The staff was kind and helpful. The shows at night were really good and the entertainment team did a really good job. Special thanks to our butler Monique for always offering help and going beyond her way to make us feel great !

We've been here for a week, and we really love the resort. It's very nice and beautiful, with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere in a natural setting. The hotel is very natural, surrounded by nature within the forest and undergrowth. The ocean view is wonderful and unforgettable. The entertainment is incredible, thanks to the Vibe Team. Leo, the showman, is the best, Coco, the boss, is very attentive to his team, the girls at the kids' club are excellent, and the fitness guys are great. We were with Leo on Friday night at the street party; he was our tour guide, security guard, and entertainer. The service at the resort is superb, with good food and cocktails, and friendly people working there. The New Year's Eve party was outstanding, and the fireworks were majestic. We highly recommend it!

I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews on Google and other social media sites. Our stay was fantastic! The room and resort were nice and clean with an amazing view of the ocean. The beach is small in a cove but that meant it wasn't super busy or noisy. We didn't have any issues finding clean beach chairs. The weather in January was around mid-70s to low 80s with a nice breeze. The food was decent but keep in mind this isn't a 5 star resort. The Zen Teppanyaki and Calypso were our favorites. The service was always friendly with staff asking about any needs we may have and very cognizant of dietary restrictions. The gym was well equipped. Our butlers, Dela and Olivia, made our stay more enjoyable and relaxing. The main complaints I have are 1) the resort is a 2 hour drive from the airport with winding roads and 2) the resort seems to allow other companies not affiliated with the resort to walk the beaches selling excursions.

We stayed at Royalton Saint Lucia from February 15–22, 2026, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, things felt poorly managed. Check-in was extremely slow and our rooms weren’t ready until almost 6:00 PM. After a full day of travel, that’s not the welcome you expect from a resort advertising a luxury, premium experience. When we finally got into our rooms, they were not properly cleaned and looked worn and weathered. The overall condition did not reflect the standard this resort promotes. Housekeeping was a major issue. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we came back to our room and it had not been serviced at all. We called multiple times and were told someone would come “right away.” No one ever came — not even to bring clean towels. That is completely unacceptable. Service across the resort was consistently slow and disorganized: • Bar service was very slow and drinks were poor quality. • The coffee shop had extremely long wait times every day. • At the buffet, we were often seated without cutlery and sometimes weren’t asked for drinks until we were nearly finished eating. The lack of attentiveness was noticeable everywhere. The property itself also feels poorly maintained. The stairwells were dirty and unpleasant, and the elevators barely worked and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Overall, the resort feels tired, understaffed, and badly managed. For the price we paid, the level of service and cleanliness was simply not acceptable. This was not the luxury vacation that was advertised. Very disappointing experience.

Our group of 5 had a fantastic stay Jan. 4 - Jan. 11. We visited while it was quiet so we never had an issue with overcrowding. We all enjoyed the food at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants. Lunch was always taken at the food truck and always good. I have a very sensitive stomach and am guaranteed to have some sort of issue while traveling. This is the first resort in 20 years of yearly traveling, that I have not had stomach issues from the food!!! Our favourite pool was dips! The bartenders there were all amazing. This is known as the quiet pool so if you want to relax poolside, this is where you want to be. We booked a catamaran excursion with mud bath, waterfall & snorkeling through Nexus. It was fantastic and well worth the money. The coffee bar makes some delicious boozy coffees and treats. Although there is one young lady in the coffee shop who is extremely rude and clearly doesn't want to serve tourists 😕 The beach area in nice, clean and calm. You can safely enjoy it even if you aren't a strong swimmer. The guys enjoyed snorkeling. They said it was good; not great. Entertainment was ok... There wasn't a huge crowd because it was quiet at the resort so they didn't use the big stage much. Which totally make sense. Bottom line on entertainment is, if you want a big show, go to Vegas! Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. Enjoy what they provide and enjoy the company you are with!

Service makes the resort ugly! 1. Took over 2 hours to check in. AfterTSA precheck, a 1 hour connecting flight, a 3 hour international flight, a 2 hour shuttle ride to get to the resort, and waking up early for it all, the check in process was worse than I could ever imagine. 2. Misleading room descriptions. Ocean view rooms are just "able to sea were the Ocean is". You drive, and they tell you "OCEAN FRONT" is what allows you to open up to the ocean from your balcony. Other resorts with better service and much nicer facilities don't do this, (and I've been to alot). 3. Service While there are some friendly staff, everything TAKES FOREVER! They process of everything is so slow. They changed our room, told us to be ready by 12 for the bell man to come for our bags. We came down with the bell man, it is now after 2, and I'm still waiting on the new room while I'm writing this review. 4. Food. Eggs taste like carton eggs. Unlike other resorts that actually have high quality food made from scratch, this resort has what is more like common hotel eggs used in hotels in the US. Definitely would not recommend this place when spending thousands of dollars on flights, resort fees and room fees, and expecting a great time
