Our stay was 10/10 The room was spotless 👌 The swim out was amazing with a sea view 👌 The butlers of diamond 💎 club were the best, Diana and Daniela. Could not ask for the 2 nicest of people going absolutely over and above and doing anything that we asked them to do. They made our stay truly an experience ❤️ From conversations I have had with other guests out 2 butlers seem to be the absolute best there is so if your visiting I hope you get both The Spa facility was to die for. Nothing like this before The food was great 😋 Francisco and Freda were always waiting to assist us looking after our every need with our ends each morning ☀️ The Vibe Team 🙏 What a fantastic bunch of entertainers, Joe, Brenda and Victor. They really had the full pool party going strong. Really well done at there job ❤️ Maya Ball 👌 The queen 👑 of the Vibe Team is Juliana (Julie) She brought everyone together and made each activity something special She deserves a big ❤️ from not just me but everyone from the resort

I will start off with the good. The resort is HUGE, it is the largest property I have ever stayed at. There are so many pools, I think 3 lazy rivers, huge theme park like water slides, an area for kids it was like a huge water jungle gym & a splash pad for the babies. The gelato shop was great! The room was clean and a good size, the couch actually opened up into like another bed. The spa was lovely. The drive from the airport was like 30minutes or less and the staff was polite. Now for the bad, the food in the buffet was awful, the food was cold, there were weird combinations, the buffet is the only option for breakfast and it is so hard to make a reservation for the restaurants at night. The very moment you check in, you should immediately try to book a reservation! The property is huge and it felt like they couldn’t really accommodate everyone food wise. Check in took forever even though the line wasn’t long and then we still had to come back to the front desk at 3pm and wait in another line to actually activate our bands and get access to our rooms. The biggest issue I had while staying here was that we were placed in a room directly across from a staff service room. So all hours of the night I could hear the staff talking & laughing very loudly, I could hear the service carts as if they were pushing them in our room & I was traveling with my baby. I think our door wasn’t sealed properly because there were holes around the door frame and a small cut in the door at the bottom. When I went to the front desk to ask about moving the man at the desk looked at me as if I was an idiot & said move where? I explained the situation & he told me they were fully booked & couldn’t help me. I asked if he could take my name down in case there is a chance or an option he told me that’s not going to be on his mind. I asked if he could make a note in my reservation & again he gave me an excuse on why he couldn’t do that. Then the next day we order room service through the app. The wait time was 70 minutes. When that time passed I called to check on my order & was hung up on first then was told my order would be up soon. It arrived cold including the coffee & missing things I ordered. The iron was broken so I requested a new one but the very next day the new iron was no longer working. One of the sinks wouldn’t drain because the stopper wouldn’t stay up. Guest services kept calling us looking for a different couple with the same last name so they kept mixing up our rooms. I booked massages for my husband and I through the app & in the app it said confirmed but once we got there the front desk said we didn’t have an appointment & asked if we could come back in an hour. I don’t think this is a bad hotel but I personally wouldn’t go back simply because I felt like the front desk person I spoke to didn’t even care to pretend like my issue mattered.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but our experience at the Royalton Splash Cancun was so awful that I feel obligated to warn others. This place is an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First of all, the food was horrendous—and I mean truly inedible. Think cold, flavorless slop that wouldn’t pass in a school cafeteria. If I could give the food a 0 out of 10, I would. When we arrived, they **immediately started lying to us and pushing a timeshare presentation like it was part of the check-in process. It was nonstop pressure and deception from the start. The room smelled like mildew and humid rot—disgusting. We asked to switch, but they flat-out refused. They told us they would send someone to “refresh” the room, and (surprise!) no one ever showed up. It was clear they just wanted us to stop complaining and hoped we’d go away. The location is terrible—isolated and inconvenient for anything you'd actually want to do in Cancun. To top it all off, we arranged a taxi through the hotel to visit a theme park. We were given a set price, but when we got there, the driver demanded $20 more claiming some made-up "transaction fee." Absolutely shady. The customer service was atrocious—rude, dismissive, and unhelpful—except for the bartenders and waitstaff, who were the only decent people we encountered. Everyone else treated us like we were a burden for expecting even the bare minimum of service. This place is a joke, and I wouldn’t recommend a Royalton hotel to my worst enemy. I’ve never been so disappointed in a vacation. If you're thinking about staying here—DON’T!!. Spend your money somewhere else where they actually care about their guests.

I feel truly blessed to have stayed at several all-inclusive resorts, but unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience. I do not recommend staying at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun. The Pros: - The kids enjoyed the water park attractions. - Room keys are linked to bracelets, which was convenient and eliminated the need to carry a card. - The in-room mini bar was stocked with sodas, water, juice, and beer (no liquor), but there were no snacks like chips and cookies. - The Royalton app was helpful for checking the daily activity schedule and making restaurant reservations. - Zen restaurant offered the best food and service we experienced during our stay. The Cons: - Customer service at the front desk was extremely poor. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful. - Check-in was absolutely too long. We had to wait in a long line. We also had to wait in another long line or receive our room number and activate our bracelets. We were charged unexpected additional fees at check-in. - The resort was overcrowded, and is showed. Lines at the main dining hall and bars were excessively long. The resort seemed to be understaffed. - Our room had a strong cigar smell upon arrival. - The food throughout the resort (except Zen) was disappointing - cold, poorly seasoned, and lacking in kid-friendly options. - Room service was slow and unappetizing; it took 60 to 90 minutes to receive food, and when it arrived, it was barely edible. - Most upsetting of all, we experienced racism from two hostesses at Hunter's Steakhouse. This was incredibly disheartening. When we brought it to the manager's attention, he had no response and offered no resolution. Overall, this resort did not meet the standard of hospitality or quality we've experienced elsewhere. I would not return and cannot recommend it.

DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT save yourself the time, money and frustration and book something else It’s a lengthy review but wanted to paint a clear picture for potential guests I’ll start with the positives Pros: Staff are friendly Rooms were a good size Kids enjoyed the kids drinks Beach towels easily accessible and changeable Wifi was good Drive from the airport was quick with private pre arranged transfer Transportation was great. Cold drinks was a bonus Tipping: seemed like no one was expecting to be tipped which was nice and service was the same Resort area was small and easy to navigate Kids loved the ice cream bar and ice cream options at the buffets Lazy River was a big hit with all ages and easy to access Kids enjoyed all water park attractions and options for all ages Room key was linked on bracelet so no need to carry a room card Mini bar in the room had drinks (pop juice boxes beer) but no snack options like chips etc as seen in other resorts Room service 24 hours. Royalton app to check menus, activities etc Convenient on tv map guide info etc Lots of Opportunity for extras like pics and experiences easily accessible if you don’t mind paying EXTRA Lots of areas that offer shade throughout the resort Areas were easily accessible and short walking distances Hardly any seaweed on the beach Cons: checkin was awful. Took far too long (over an hour) and had to pay additional environmental fees upon arriving Crocodile in the water so beach was closed for the day but you could still access the sand Resort was at full capacity and felt crowded. Long lines at events, loud and busy Member of our travel group had horrible check in. Pre paid and arranged room selection was not honored and she ended up in a different part of the resort Reservations required for many restaurants and fully booked for days in advance No signs of wildlife around the resort like others ie lizards Rooms were loud. Could hear other guests, food delivery’s etc music at night (We had our own white noise machine which helped the kids sleep) Although mini fridge had pop juice and beer (2) no other alcohol options like tequila in rooms No bar service at swim out suites 2 drink minimum for your room fridge and bar service Air conditioning was fine but didn’t feel cool enough at times Leaks in various parts of the ceilings in the hallways. From our room to the main resort area we had to pass at least 6 different bucket/rag set ups to catch the dripping water No place to get pesos just USD then transfer to peso so as a Canadian you lose twice on the exchange rate Too many extras that cost $ bowling trampoline part laser tag etc and LT was broken Too many people offering services around the resort like braids, massage and pics etc…not at all pushy but can make you feel obliged No visible first aid. Had to seek out lifeguard at neighboring pool for a bandaid Reservation booking with guest services took about an hour so if anyone is ahead of you it can make for a lengthy process. We were able to book restaurants for the week but if you wanted to do it using the app you can only book 1-2 days in advance There were Nighttime activities however kids in our group aged 6-11 were too tired to stay up for them and were in bed by 9pm and they weren’t overly interested anyway Buffet was fine but room service was inconsistent and not great No pool or beach seating. Everyone claims a spot and gets mad if you move their bag even if they’ve been away for hours. Ridiculous Overall, I would not recommend going to this resort. I recognize our privilege to be able to vacation at an all inclusive and our children had a wonderful time and we enjoyed seeing them experience this trip however as vacationers who have been guests at other resorts (adult only) this resort is at the bottom of the list from what we have experienced in terms of food quality/overall atmosphere/service etc. Many more beautiful places to enjoy but if it was your first trip to an all inclusive with a young family might be a decent option

A Splashing Good Time for the Whole Family at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun! Our recent family vacation at the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a welcoming atmosphere and treated to exceptional service that truly made our stay memorable. The service across the resort was consistently top-notch. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant servers and activity coordinators, was friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Food lovers will rejoice at the diverse and delicious food options available. The variety of restaurants meant there was always something to please even the pickiest eaters in our family. We particularly enjoyed [mention a specific restaurant or type of food if you remember one]. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation were impressive for an all-inclusive resort. For those looking to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful Riviera Maya coastline, the beach activities were a major highlight. Whether it was lounging on the pristine sand or participating in the organized games, there was always something fun happening. The abundance of water activities was also a huge draw for our family. The pools were sparkling clean and well-maintained, and the water park was an absolute blast for both kids and adults alike! We spent hours enjoying the slides and splash pads. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. We especially appreciated the prompt and efficient room service whenever we needed it. It added an extra layer of convenience to our stay. Finally, the customer service throughout our entire experience was outstanding. Any questions or requests we had were handled quickly and efficiently, leaving us feeling well-cared for. The Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is the perfect destination for a family looking for an all-inclusive resort that truly delivers on its promises. With its exceptional service, delicious food, and a wide array of engaging activities for all ages, it's a place where lasting memories are made. We loved it and would absolutely consider staying here again for our next family vacation in Mexico!

Had an amazing experience at Royalton Splash, and a big part of that was thanks to Alexandra from the Vibe team! She’s full of energy, super friendly, and always made sure guests were having a great time. From poolside games to evening entertainment, she kept the vibe fun and upbeat every day. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and cares about making everyone's stay memorable. Alexandra is definitely a standout member of the team—if you see her around the resort, join in on whatever she’s organizing. You won’t regret it! Highly recommend!

Alejandra vibe team was absolutely fantastic. She made us feel like we were at home and part of the family. She remembered our names after meeting us once. Her energy and personality was great. We could not have asked for a better person to have met on our vacation. I would come back here just for her and the activities that she provided for us at the pool.
