Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

Best resort for family. We just had our wedding there and everything was perfect. There are some rooms that got the smell but our room was totally fine. The people are super nice, the food was good, lots of options. I just wish it could be a little easier for reservation at the restaurants. Overall my family have a great time there and we will def comeback with the kids.

My husband and I had an awesome time. Beautiful resort. It was huge and we did a lot of walking. We loved the Hunter Steakhouse and the Italian restaurants the best. Our pool waiter Gina was the best she kept bringing us drinks and making sure we were taken care of. Our bell hop Yolanda was the best as well when she took our bags to our room she gave us advice on which restaurants to eat at and how to book the reservations. Our waiter at the Italian restaurant Moralez was exceptional.

Feb 3-10th , 2025. Ignore all the entitled complainers. We had a Great 7 day stay at the Royalton Splash resort with our family of four. Kids ages 8 and 10 had an absolute blast. Resort is very clean and well laid out. Staff work very hard to keep everything to as high of standards as they can, and they are always smiling. Anyone can find things to pick apart if you choose to, we had a fun filled vacation. We would for sure come back to this resort again.

I read many bad reviews when booking, but decided to try this resort. Overall good experience so far! Very family friendly resort with amazing water parks, kids shows, kids activities, small arcade, trampoline and much more. My 5 year old girl really enjoyed racing arcade, kids club, floating in the warm pool, sand play! Beach is better than I expected, yes there are some kind of seaweed one beach, but it didn't bother me at all. Beautiful color of ocean, you can walk along the beach pretty far. Hard to get the sunbeds near the pool and beach, you will have to go grab them early in the morning. Cocktails and foods are overall good, you need an app to book the table. It sometimes takes long to get your food, be patient! We are here for vacation, nothing to rush, we were OK to wait for our foods. Yes, room smells like sewer sometimes, maybe trouble if you are sensitive to smells. We are leaving tomorrow, will miss our fun time at this resort! forgot to mention, staffs are super friendly and helpful.

First time ever coming to Cancun/Mexico and we stayed here for a wedding. It is a fairly large resort so some of the rooms have a bit of a walk. When we got there we were supposed to have an upgraded room but they said they did not receive anything regarding that and did not have any rooms that they were able to move us to. Overall I would say the facility is clean. The rooms were clean just fairly nosiy in the morning with the cleaning people walking around. The bathroom does flood with the way the showers are so they have to come clean your room every day. The room was a good size and I liked the large shower/bath combination. When we opened our balcony door we did have the problem of the sewage smell but I think it has to do with the seaweed not much to do about that. When we first got there we needed a beeper to be buzzed to check in. It did not seem too busy so I am not sure what the hold up was. Then they really did not explain anything about daily activities or how to schedule anything they just said download the app. They are short staff so a lot of restaurants are closed on certain days. Given that I was here for a wedding I only got to try the Italian and Indian restaurant otherwise I ate a the buffet. Overall I thought the food was pretty decent. Service wise - front desk staff needs to be improved. The wait staff, bar staff, and cleaning people are great. Very friendly and get you what you need. Amenities - upset that the sports area was temporarily closed. tennis and basketball courts were shut down. lazy river can use some maintenance because you had to push yourself to get moving most of the time. Water slides were fun but be careful some of them can lead to injuries(the ones that you least expect). In the mixed drinks the alcohol definitely tasted different and did not taste strong. flavor of the drinks varied by which bar you were at. I definitely thought it was strange that kids were allowed to sit at the swim up bar... I feel like it should be only for adults. This resort is definitely for families not really a place for couples. Lots of kids all over. I went in October the pools were a little on the colder side. I liked that there was plenty of seating all over so I did not have to fight for seats. Bands and entertainment was fairly good. They just need to work on the sound on the main stage. Give yourself some time when checking out. Almost missed our ride because there was a long line and 1 person checking people out.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The views were breathtaking, and the resort’s modern and beautifully designed aesthetic was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The food options were fantastic, especially for kids, with something delicious for everyone. There were so many things to do for kids—they were entertained nonstop with fun activities, games, and events that made the trip unforgettable for them. The entertainment overall was top-notch, adding so much fun to our stay. Housekeeping was outstanding—our room was always spotless and perfectly maintained. This resort truly exceeded all my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and exceptional service!

Feb 13-17, 2025. First all inclusive for our family, and it was all positive! We have been coming to Riviera Maya for over 15 years, and we joke about the Mexico effect: everything is almost done (paint on doors and frames, drains almost work, tile almost finished), and we kinda expect that. This resort is gorgeous, so many pools! The water park was so fun, a great way to spend a few hours with the kid. We arrived on a Thursday, and the resort felt empty. No problem finding a chair, no lines, it was great. By Sunday, it was way busier but we were still able to find loungers, get food everywhere, and lines were fast. Overall, not sure all inclusive is for us, but not because of this place. Staff was so welcoming, attentive and helpful. Food was good at the buffet and snack bar, great at the restaurants and food truck. Drinks were good, a great variety. Rooms and hallways had a bit of a mildew smell… but we expect that from Mexico. Very family friendly, good value, huge variety of food and activities. Great vacation overall! The check in and check out process is very slow. Allow for 30 min to do each.

Everything from the moment we arrived until the day we left was perfect. The rooms were spotless, modern, and super comfortable, exceeding all our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurants and food were outstanding—so much variety and everything was delicious. The pools and water park were a highlight, offering endless fun for both kids and adults. The hotel also had exciting and entertaining activities throughout our stay, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again.
