Royalty Bar & Lounge

First off I proceed with cause because of other reviews. Here's what I found. A real (back in the day) lounge experience. Sort of small but now too little. The vibe was good. The live band was entertaining not a band I would try to chase. But they made the experience enjoyable. This is the type of place you have to bring your own fun. If you don't like to stir up a good time don't come. I recommend this spot for an adult good time. THE LAMB CHOPS & CAJUN RICE is worth the trip. OMG!!!!! That, and the strong drinks are good enough reason to try this place.

ROYALTY brings the nightlife vibes—good drinks, great music, and delicious food. For my first visit, I was loving everything… until I noticed there’s apparently no dress code. Crocs and pajamas at a place called ROYALTY? That part threw me. Wardrobe choices aside, it’s still a solid spot for a fun, wholesome night out. Great birthday spot, mines was amazing.

Last review of zero stars got taken down , went back yesterday with my mom and friends. On the website it clearly states $275 for botttle and section prebooked. We were a walk in without this information til this morning Waitress said cash app her $100 then pay $175 for a bottle wondering why it was two separate transactions but whatever went and did it. she comes back and says her “manager said it’s actually $275 instead of 175” which would total to $375. Now upon looking on the website everything total was supposed to be $275 service still full of bs and will not be going back ever

I went here when I first moved to Houston in November 2024. I called to inquire about food. No one answered, before I could call the next bar on my list, the owner called me back. She informed me that they didn't have food, however 2 food trucks pulled up nightly. I told the owner that I would be on my way because she called back. The place was super cute and spacious. I was there early and out early cause the bartender did not hold back on the liquor!!! Drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. And the food from the food truck must have been good cause I woke up to an empty box with just 1 shrimp tail left.

Apparently you can’t even ask for the restroom without an employee being rude at this establishment. An easy question as such should not warrant an attitude. Absolutely would not be back! Y’all enjoy lackluster service and attitudes.

Service was good!!! Not too much seating, so if it’s cold out side you probably want to go get there early to get a seat inside. But overall we had a good time definitely will go back!!

I had a great time. Live music was great and Philly cheese eggrolls were delicious! I will be back

My first experience at royalty lounge was horrible but my second experience at royalty lounge was very nice. I really enjoyed the bartenders were very sweet. Very nice. The waitresses all were very nice. We got a section for my friend‘s birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves.

I gave this place a three because it was packed from wall to wall when I went in at around 10 on a Friday night and there were no seats and the bartenders took a long time to take our drink order. I'm sorry I really wouldn't recommend this place. Unless you don't mind standing all night and listening to live music and then when the singer gets a break, the DJ plays his music. I'm more into the DJ playing his music because he was playing some hits. I ordered a blue daiquiri with a shot of vodka and the daiquiri was super strong and I wasn't expecting that but that's a good thing I suppose so you'll get your moneys worth when it comes to the drinks . They do serve food, which I wasn't able to order this time. The crowd is mixed. You have the bougies and the ghettos. The ghettos that dance and hold your chair smh, I had to move my chair and the girl came and leaned on my chair again. I really wasn't feeling the crowd to be honest.

We went on a Friday night around 10pm and there was a live band there that was pretty decent. A DJ played during intermission and he got the crowd lit. It's a R&B/hip hop situation on Friday's. I would say to eat and have your good "proper " cocktails before coming here. There's a limited drink menu with just your basic drinks and the food was very mid. There's also not alot of seating options. The service was pretty good and there was no door charge which was perfect. It's on a shopping plaza so there was a decent amount of parking available.

Friday, March 17th 10:30pm Parking- shared with the strip but most businesses are closed at the time Royalty is open. Great atmosphere, great music, and great times. Obviously there are drinks and you can order Hookah. They do have a patio floor additional seating. Live music is played on Fridays. The band is phenomenal. They end around 1am and then the DJ takes over and then it gets even better in terms of liveliness. I don't drink but service seemed quick from the bar and the servers for the section. I'm not sure if Kreole Kings is always outside serving food but that's a great place to grab something to eat. Royalty lets you eat inside after ordering from the food truck. If you're on the Northside at the time they are open, I recommend you stop by.

Tonight I came to the lounge of which is advertised as "upscale". I had linen shorts, a silk button down and some loafers and was denied entry due to a strict dress code. Mind you it's 80 degrees outside and there were 3-4 gentleman let in with denim jeans and Air Force ones on. I definitely wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for something upscale, I could understand being denied entry if I had basketball shorts or cut off denim, but linen shorts, loafers and a silk button down won't grant entry??!! That's ridiculous.

This was my first time here but definitely not my last. The vibe was chill. Grown and sexy vibes. You can't beat $7 drinks that don't disappoint. My only complaint would be the bartenders that were just standing around or on their phones. Erika was the ONLY one helping everyone while the others chilled. Erika was on it. She saw my cup was empty while making someone else's drink and was on it. I'd go back just for her bomb ass customer service!

This by far been the worst experience I've ever experienced Over the past weekend me and my twin sister came to this establishment because we only stay 5 minutes away and it was told by us it was a nice chill environment for a older crowd of adults When me and sister arrived we was greeted by the guard at the door who was doing security that night he proceeded to check our bags literally and said we was clear of our bags and he proceeded us to go inside as we did when we first walked into the lounge we amazed that we found a lounge with good music and other adults having the same amount of energy as you We was there for about a hour now we'll going on we already been sitting at the bar we even made couple conversations with some ppl that was already been there couple times This is at this point where the night went wrong !! While sitting at the bar I had gotten a phone call and I needed to go step outside but instead I went to the ladies restroom where I should have just followed my first mind ! When we proceeded to the bathroom me and my sister was caught with a smell in the bathroom while another lady was in the bathroom before us well let me say 2 ladies was in the bathroom before us ! While in the bathroom we was waiting on a stall but only one was open at the time so me and sister both went into a stall together not only for 5 mins cause like I said I only went to take a phone call !!! After 5 minutes in the bathroom we proceeded to leave out and we decided we was gonna go pick up my Wife from work and we will come back to enjoy rest of our night as we proceed to leave out we went back to the bar asked what time they close and ask a lady we meet to watch our seats and we will be back the lady we meet at the bar agreed and said she will have rounds of drinks for us when we come back we agreed and told our company goodbye Not even 30 minutes later we arrived back when approaching the door to meet our company that's been holding our seats we was aggressively pulled back and said we wasn't welcome or allowed back in this establishment because we was WRONGLY HARASSED BECAUSE SOME " LADIES WAS SMOKING IN THE BATHROOM " WELL LETS BE CORRECT WE WAS WRONGFULLY ACCUSED OF SMOKING WEED IN THE LADIES BATHROOM NOW AS SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR A FEDERAL COMPANY AND MY SISTER WHO IS A FULL TOME NURSE WE WAS EMBARRASSED WITH OURSELVES OTHER PPL WAS OUTSIDE LOOKING AT US CRAZY LIKE WE NEVER NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS !!! While going back and forth with the Guard at the door we repeatedly ask who would make such bad assumptions like that when we been here for almost a hour left and came back now it's common sense if WE WAS TO DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT WHY COME BACK? WHY NOT WE JUST STAY GONE OR WHY NOT JUST GO OUTSIDE TO SMOKE THWY HAVE A PATTIO ? Right SO THIS IS ALL BEING SAID I EVEN ASK THE GUARD SIR U CHECKED OUR BAGS BOTH BAGS IF U FELT LIKE WR HAD ANYTHING WE WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAVE WE WOULD JAVE NEVER ENTER THE BUILDING BUT U GAVE OUR BAGS A THUMBS UP !! LITERALLY WE ONLY HAD OUR PHONES & money in our bags & he say that BUT HE WAS AGGRESSIVE AND TOLD ME IM OUTTA CHARACTER AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ACT !! BUT IF SOMEONE IF MAKING FALSE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT YOU WE AS A HUMAN HAVE ALL RIGHTS TO DEFEND YOURSELF!! WE ASKED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES WHO SAID ? WHO WOULD JUST PICK US OUTTA EVERYONE WHO WENT TO THE BATHROOM WHY US ? HIS RESPONSE WAS WE NEED TO LEAVE AND WE NEED TO HURRY UP CAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW ANY OF THE WORKERS AND HE DIDN'T KNOW ANYONE NAME WHICH WAS A LIE AND WE KNEW IT !! We left and asked if we can have a refund he provided that we want get anything and again said he have to leave !! THIS MATTER CAN GO WORSE THEN JUST A REVIEW CAUSE WE WAS WRONGLY EXCUSED AND EMBARRASSED BUT AT JUST LEAVING A REVIEW WILL BE JUST FINE FOR RN BUT WILL I EVEN COME BACK NO !!!! NOT UNTIL SOMEONE CAN PICK UP THE PHONE TO RETURN MY CALLS THAT I MADE SINCE THAT NIGHT !! BUT BY FAR THE WORST ND DISAPPOINTED AT MYSELF FOR EVEN GOING OUT THAT NIGHT I SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED HOME !! I will never go to an older club if the adults they self don't know how to act !! But because we was the only young two girls i guess we had to take a fall To something we didn't do !! AND TO END THIS NOTE WE WAS ON LIVE THE ENTIRE TIME WE WAS IN THE BAR !! FROM AT THE BAR TO GOING TO THE BATHROOM!! THATS THE GAG SO IM COMING WTH ALL THE FACTS BUT Like I said this could have been worse than what it is !! Teach your staff about ask questions first never make someone else feel like shit cause half y'all Staff drunk already behind the bar literally we was told This from A bartender she drunk while serving !! But we was the bad guys ??? Never go to this place but one bad comment want stop they business but my comment will be heard !!!

Customer service is on point! Drinks, hookah and food are delish! Thank you Robin and Brittany for making our experience wonderful

I've driven by this place multiple times going home. Most of the time the parking lot would be packed so I would just head home. My first time stopping I ended up running into a couple friends. The bartender was nice, drinks tasty and music was a vibe. There's even a food truck outside that I've yet to try. Looking forward to going back as it close to my house. Beats driving downtown or to the South/southwest for fun.

I would love to help with Bar management in this place. Too much money left on the table!! People are waiting too long. I watched 200 easy walk away due to very slowwww service. First time here can't say I'm in a rush to come back. However the place has a great set up and eye candy for the ladies was pretty great for this area. Minor operational changes could improve the overall experience. Dj was also on point just have your drink before you come or in the car or you will be thirsty!!

I visited this bar/lounge last week while In Texas. I am from San Diego, CA. Unfortunately San Diego doesn't have lounges like Royalty. I had a good time. The DJ played really good music. The bartenders were nice, friendly and easy on the eyes. The crowd was a balanced mix of age groups. I am 41, and don't like being the oldest person out amongst younger people. I still enjoy the nightlife every now and then. I would go again.

Went on a Saturday night for a last minute girls night out. It was a decent crowd but able to move around with a live DJ music was good. Purchased a section. It took 1 hour to get the bottle. Drinks were not strong but tasted good but it also took a hour to receive one drink. They have a food truck out front and it was busy. There was a fight inside the lounge around 12:30-1am so my group left promptly.

Three girlfriends and I decided to check out the newest establishment in the Humble area. We arrived at 8:45 and unfortunately turned away! When we asked why, we were told that sneakers and sandals were not allowed. A little shocked but understanding walked away, only to be asked by a group of girls on our way to our vehicles "how is it inside?" I replied with, "I'm not sure we were turned away due to having sandals and vans on." However, I noticed that all 3 girls were wearing sandals with jeans. So I decided to wait and see if they were allowed access inside, and to our surprise they were. I questioned the doorman, and he replied, who what girls, I said, the group you just let in, he replied with, oh well they have friends inside. I questioned him asking how he knew we didn't have friends inside, his response was, " it's just how it is." My friends and I left, we felt extremely racially profiled and disappointed not being able to experience a new nightlife in our area. I attempted to call to speak with a manager, nobody answered, I left a message asking someone to return my call... we shall see... and in case you're curious, none of us are African American.

It's cool. Just like all the other lounges. Nothing special or spectacular. Same crowd same people.

The service in this establishment is horrible. I refuse to spend any more of my money here, the bartenders refuse to pay any attention to anyone that is not ordering bottles or have a section.

please do not go to this club. The security pulled a gun out on me and my family. Innocent people could have gotten shot. We was at the food truck outside and the security guy BJ jump in front of us to order his food. We told him that is rude. We said we will go get food else where. We walked away and the security got his brother, his brother push my nephew and his mother. Security guy pulled his gun out. Security don't suppose to start trouble.
