Santorini Is One of the Most-visited Islands in the World — With Instagram-worthy Views, Romantic Villages, and Relaxed Tavernas

"In Vourvoulos, away from the celebrated caldera, you’ll find Roza’s. Seasonality reigns supreme at this downhome dining spot owned and run by a Georgian cook and her Greek husband. Rice-stuffed vine leaves with smoked eel and lime foam count among the delectable offerings, while there are plenty of vegan options." - Travel + Leisure Editors

This restaurant is located in a local neighborhood where people actually live, which gives it a very authentic atmosphere. You can enjoy genuine Greek cuisine here, and the selection of wine and cheese is especially excellent. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the reasonable prices together with the quick service made it even more enjoyable!

4 days in Santorini, went back twice because we wanted to taste everything from the menu. Behind the delicious food you will meet Roza's team, welcoming and happy to share about their cuisine and culture behind the dishes presented. Would 100% recommend.

The food was great but the serving portions are quite small for the price that you pay. The place gives off a home cook feels not really a restaurant so it felt like the prices are a bit steep. The service was a bit slow. The vibe was a bit off, the owner sat next to our table, smoking his cigarette and was doing a bit of administrative work while we had our meal.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here in July 2025. The restaurant is super quaint and very cute, with only about 7-8 tables on what is essentially the balcony of a house. Service was attentive and provided good recommendations. The menu and wine list are both extensive and change regularly. Standout dishes were the keftedes (Greek meatballs) and the phyllo meat pie. Price was very fair. Highly recommended!

Best food we had in Greece! Absolute gem of a place, I would legitimately come back to Santorini just for the food. We went for a lunch and started planning to quit our jobs to intern at the kitchen so we could learn to cook like this. Owner and cook are delightful and if they would publish a cookbook I would be the first buyer. I wanted to take pictures of everything we ate but because my husband and I shared I got too jealous and started eating immediately. 10/10 would always come back 💞

Roza’s is a must-visit in Santorini! We went on a weekday for a quiet and peaceful lunch. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food and service were fantastic. Highly recommend the tomato balls!

We walked here from the Fira cable cars (eh around 30 min walk). We went in the evening. This is a must, imho, if you want to get out of the tourist area (can easily take a taxi for 20EU). Food was so good and local beer to top it off. Make sure to order the fresh pita bread too, yum.

Amazing little spot, as a tourist it was the perfect authentic Greek spot to have a nice quiet meal before peak dinner hours. Phenomenal food and drink, we were treated very well.
