Excellent location. Walkable to everything. Good size contemporary rooms. Breakfast has wide range of food and good service. Parking is tight, really tight, manageable though. Please, note that if you book early check-in, it might not be available and you’ll have to wait .

Lovely hotel. Very clean and well positioned near the beach, shops,restaurants and bars. It's lovely and quiet inside so you don't hear the bustle outside. The food it tasty and varied and the service is friendly.

A really great hotel with absolutely brilliant staff who were always ready to help. A special mention for Inna, Maria, Ana and Pedro in the restaurant and Erica on reception. Their friendliness and commitment to customer service was outstanding. The room cleaning service was exceptional. The food was really good with a wide choice at both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is also in an excellent position within the resort. The only negative is the size and position of the swimming pool, but with the brilliant beach in such close proximity, it wasn't so much of a problem to us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Da Rocha – Exceptional in Every Way!||Our stay at Hotel Da Rocha was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We booked a Deluxe Room with a Sea View, and the view was simply stunning — waking up to the ocean every morning felt like a dream. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless, with a super comfortable bed and a beautiful balcony.||One thing we really appreciated was the daily housekeeping — the room was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided daily as well, which kept everything feeling fresh and well looked after.||The breakfast and dinner buffet were phenomenal. There was a huge variety of delicious food — from fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, and continental options in the morning, to meats, seafood, salads, pasta, and desserts in the evening. The quality and variety were impressive.||A very special moment during our stay was when the staff surprised our daughter with a small birthday cake and a sweet “Happy Birthday” greeting. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made her day unforgettable — we were genuinely touched.||The hotel’s location is perfect — right on the beach and close to everything you need, including restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and professional.||We highly recommend Hotel Da Rocha to families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in the Algarve. My honest review: From day one, everything was great. Our room was ready earlier than expected and we were let in early. The people who took care of us were very friendly and helpful at all times. The pool is not very big, but it's fine. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it because the weather was not favorable and it was a bit cold, the water too. As for the food, I have no complaints, you have 2 options, opt for breakfast included or breakfast and dinner included, if you can afford both, it is the best option, dinners are really very good and varied, breakfast is also good, but it is not as varied as dinner, each day of the week has a menu for dinner and each one was quite nice. Of course there will always be days that you like more than others. But in general everything is fine. The room is very nice, but I must say that for the children, the beds were not the same I that brought a little conflict, if it is possible that they can correct that the smaller beds are as similar as possible would be very good. The location of the hotel is really wonderful, walking distance to the beach, Tours and establishments selling beach items, food, restaurants, etc. The cleanliness of the room was good, but sometimes I felt that they went too fast and did not spend much time cleaning the room, finding sand after it had already been cleaned. The machines at the gym are not in the best conditions, it would be nice to upgrade. In my experience the hotel deserves 5 stars, it is not a resort, it is a hotel and our stay was pleasant. I think I will be back.

A really good hotel in a perfect location. Rooms spacious, well equipped and small fridge. Massive bed . Everything you could want at breakfast and more. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area as it was quite small with only around 35 sunbeds and felt very enclosed, so no breeze at all . Also even though there was a small poolside bar , there was nowhere to sit out of the sun for a cooling drink. The favourite restaurant of our stay was ADRIS on the main street, lovely people and food fantastic.

Really nice hotel with great location just 5 minutes from the beach. Also has lots of restaurants, shops and bars within a short walk. Very spacious rooms which were clean. Nice staff too. Buffet breakfast was also good. Swimming pool area seems small for the size of hotel but it wasn’t very busy, I assume this is because it is so close to the beach.

My experience was literally spoiled. Check-in starts at 3 PM, but we reached around 11 AM. We weren’t expecting to get the room that early, but when we gave our details at the reception, the staff member told us the room would be ready in an hour or so, and that they’d call us or we could come back and check. So we went for lunch and came back around 1 PM. Again, she said it would be another 5–10 minutes, but nothing was ready. When we went back again, she was extremely rude and loud, saying check-in doesn’t start until 3 PM. The way she spoke in front of so many people was really disrespectful, and I found it very upsetting. We would have appreciated honesty from the start. If she had just told us clearly that check-in isn’t possible before 3 PM, we could have planned our time better. Instead, she kept asking us to wait a bit longer and giving false hope that the room would be ready soon only to later say we wouldn’t get the room even a minute before 3. Pathetic. Our arrival and first impression were completely ruined by the staff. I’m not recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing vacation. The location is nice, no doubt, but there are many other hotel options, and I’m sure anything would be better than this. Portuguese hospitality is known to be warm, but this staff member was the complete opposite.
