RR Hotel da Rocha

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is good and room is cleaned daily. You can get new towels every day and also ice cubes. Our room was a Suite Deluxe. Very good housekeeping. The only things we didn’t like were that the rooms are definitely not soundproof like they say, you can hear everything down the hall and outside, bummer since we picked this instead of the others because there is a less nightlife closeby. I barely slept for the whole stay because of construction and drunk people roaming the streets at night. We also didn’t like that the pool area and sunbeds barely get any sun. |Overall, a pretty good hotel and staff were friendly and nice :)

A really great hotel with absolutely brilliant staff who were always ready to help. A special mention for Inna, Maria, Ana and Pedro in the restaurant and Erica on reception. Their friendliness and commitment to customer service was outstanding. The room cleaning service was exceptional. The food was really good with a wide choice at both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is also in an excellent position within the resort. The only negative is the size and position of the swimming pool, but with the brilliant beach in such close proximity, it wasn't so much of a problem to us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Excellent location. Walkable to everything. Good size contemporary rooms. Breakfast has wide range of food and good service. Parking is tight, really tight, manageable though. Please, note that if you book early check-in, it might not be available and you’ll have to wait .

My honest review: From day one, everything was great. Our room was ready earlier than expected and we were let in early. The people who took care of us were very friendly and helpful at all times. The pool is not very big, but it's fine. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it because the weather was not favorable and it was a bit cold, the water too. As for the food, I have no complaints, you have 2 options, opt for breakfast included or breakfast and dinner included, if you can afford both, it is the best option, dinners are really very good and varied, breakfast is also good, but it is not as varied as dinner, each day of the week has a menu for dinner and each one was quite nice. Of course there will always be days that you like more than others. But in general everything is fine. The room is very nice, but I must say that for the children, the beds were not the same I that brought a little conflict, if it is possible that they can correct that the smaller beds are as similar as possible would be very good. The location of the hotel is really wonderful, walking distance to the beach, Tours and establishments selling beach items, food, restaurants, etc. The cleanliness of the room was good, but sometimes I felt that they went too fast and did not spend much time cleaning the room, finding sand after it had already been cleaned. The machines at the gym are not in the best conditions, it would be nice to upgrade. In my experience the hotel deserves 5 stars, it is not a resort, it is a hotel and our stay was pleasant. I think I will be back.

Really nice hotel with great location just 5 minutes from the beach. Also has lots of restaurants, shops and bars within a short walk. Very spacious rooms which were clean. Nice staff too. Buffet breakfast was also good. Swimming pool area seems small for the size of hotel but it wasn’t very busy, I assume this is because it is so close to the beach.

Right on the beach. King bed was a little firm, but you couldn’t beat the location if you are there to mostly hang on the beach. Buffet is catered to British tourist….not a spec of local Portuguese food to be seen.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and well positioned near the beach, shops,restaurants and bars. It's lovely and quiet inside so you don't hear the bustle outside. The food it tasty and varied and the service is friendly.

The hotel's location was fantastic, with several beaches just a short walk away. Our room was excellent and had a convenient mini kitchen, which was great for dining in. We also appreciated the on-site parking, which made it easy to come and go.
