"Today, I had the pleasure of dining with my wife, Kavita Thakur, and our adorable one-year-old son. We began with the Tandoori Shrimps and Tandoori non veg platter as appetizers, which were absolutely delightful and bursting with flavor. However, the Lamb Biryani, which was the main course, fell short of our expectations. It lacked the depth of flavor and the distinct aroma that we've come to associate with a traditional Hyderabadi Biryani, such as the ones we've had in Hyderabad. Despite this, the staff, particularly Mr. Manav and Mr. Sundeep, were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. Their warm smiles and excellent service made our dining experience enjoyable. To take it to the next level, I would suggest refining the Lamb Biryani recipe to capture the essence of the iconic Hyderabadi dish."|This is the suggestion only, do not take it in the wrong way. Next time for sure, I will come with my friends and gonna enjoy in 350° bar.|Thankyou.

Our recent stay at Sarovar Portico was an exceptionally pleasant experience. The hospitality extended by the staff was warm, attentive, and truly commendable. Every request we made—particularly regarding special food preferences for our child—was met with promptness and care, reflecting their commitment to personalized service. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very well-maintained, making the stay extremely relaxing. The staff deserves a special mention for being warm, courteous, and highly professional – they really make you feel at home.||In-room dining was decent with generous portion sizes, and the service was impressively quick and efficient. The view from the rooms is absolutely breathtaking – a highlight of the stay! The breakfast buffet had a good spread, though the flavors could be improved.||The location is another big plus, being conveniently close to the main market while still offering peace and comfort.||Overall, a memorable experience and definitely a place I’d love to return to!

The town evoked the memories of a bygone era with its slow paced life and warm hearted people. RS Sarovar portico added the warm essence of hospitality and simplicity of the hill folks...the hotel is tastefully decorated, located at a convenient distance from the city center and is staffed by really nice people. The food is delicious and the service is prompt. Highly recommended for a few nights stay in Palampur. PS: a swimming Pool would really add value to the hospitality and the aesthetics of the place, space permitting. Kudos and full marks

Stayed for 2 days at Sarovar Portico Palampur. The property is well-maintained with beautiful views of the Dhauladhar range and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the service was noticeably slow — from room service to restaurant orders, everything took longer than expected. Staff was polite but response time needs improvement. Ideal for relaxation, but not for those expecting quick hospitality. Amazing view outside

I am writing to express my concern regarding the accommodations provided for the driver. The bunk bed was not clean, and the 'bunkar' had a strong, unpleasant odor. This situation is unacceptable. I believe it is important to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for all staff, and I kindly request immediate attention to this matter. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this, and provide any information on how you will ensure that such conditions are not repeated in the future. Adding to the aforementioned deficiencies, the driver's request for a blanket, which he required because he intended to sleep in his vehicle, was denied by hotel staff. This further compounded the unsatisfactory treatment, as it deprived the driver of even the most basic comfort.

Beautiful hotel. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the second floor roof top restaurant. Drinks are available. Rum, lemon and tonic water was refreshing. Snacks are okay. Food was good. Plenty of parking available. The view of Palampur and Dhauladhar ranges is breathtaking. It's reasonable hotel too on the pocket.

We arranged our Son's marriage.wonderful experience.All relatives and friends enjoyed stay,food, service and hospitality . All managers on each floor and the team as above their super duper Manager Ashok Gagunli are very amicable and supporting. All the best. Divya Jyoti
