Simply stunning, and well worth a trek down the path and many steps over the bridge to see it properly. Lovely staff posted at the foot of and at the top of the lighthouse itself. Great cafe at the top by the carpark. Visit, not to be missed!

Apart from the walks, the views, the birds, the inexpensive car parks and the ancient ruins close by, there’s a cafe and a toilet open in January! I understand the RSPB hold events from this base all year round too.

A fantastic day out, loads to see & do. The lighthouse is definitely worth a visit, if only for the volunteer staffs football banter! The RSPB viewing point staff were very knowledgeable & informative, with binoculars on hand for seal spotting. Make sure to stop for delicious coffee and cake before leaving, decent footwear/clothing is a must, plenty of walks to do and the views are stunning.

We were hoping to hike a bit on Holyhead mountain as it was recommended, but we followed the map instructions and ended the road at this park (and car park). It was a bit steep for me so I waited while the rest of the family went walking. Quite windy (cold) so I ended up in the cafe. Nice place but a bit too steep for me.

Visted here on a sunny weekday afternoon. Not too many parking spaces left at the cafe due to its popularity. Purchased tickets from a knowledgeable chap by the cafe for a trip up the lighthouse. Descended the 400 or so steps to the bridge that leads over to the lighthouse. There are a few benches which do come in handy on the way back up. Arrived to a friendly and helpful team of staff. Made it to the top of the lighthouse (very steep final few steps) and listened to the history of the building. Great views all round. Plenty for birdwatchers.....1000s of birds, puffins (didn't see any today) and seagulls with their chicks. A great afternoon that was value for money too.

Beautiful scenery, parking is limited and busy.Carpark with cafe is £6 for the day and you can purchase tickets for the lighthouse here. There is lots of paths to walk and the coast path goes to Breakwater country park which is approx 2 miles on a rocky track.

There are plenty of places for blue badge parking at the cafe car park where the RSPB information area is. The staff there are equally welcoming, informative, and friendly. There are accessible toilets in the cafe. All the food we saw looked freshly done and nice but we'd packed a lunch so didn't eat there on the day we went! We did have a cheeky iced treat though, there is a choice of ice cream, vegan sorbets, and even doggy ice cream to cool everyone down on a hot day... which it most definitely was on the day we went! Most welcome and enjoyed 😋 The accessible walk is from the lower car park, there are only a few blue badge spots here as it's a smaller car park...all blue badge parking in the relevant bays are free, otherwise it was paid parking! It is mostly a flat surface for those with mobility issues, a slight accent coming back if you're in a wheelchair and may need a bit of assistance! There are benches along the walk to stop and rest as well. There was an abundance of guillemot on the cliff face, which was a sight and sound to behold. From the viewpoint, you can see the stairs down the cliff to the lighthouse. They are quite impressive, and I can see why they literally take people breath away! There are a few trails to walk for those able as well.

Most beautiful in summer on a light sunny day. The view is amazing. Maximum 30 minutes walk one way. Climbing the stairs back can be time taking, but worth the walk, worth the view. No ticket required to visit the lighthouse, but needs ticket to climb up. Enjoy amazing sunset in the evening. Difficult to get parking, but we waited for 30-45 minutes and were able to get parking. Authorities are very supportive and they help you get parking. We asked to wait till a parking slot opens up rather than leaving. Dog friendly place. Visit with friends and family or enjoy your solo trip. Must go here if you are visiting North Wales.
