We got a little sick on the ferry ride over, but I think it was worth it. The biggest draw is definitely the puffins; they’re very unique compared to most other seabirds and I really hadn’t seen anything like them. The staff here are friendly and helpful, pointing them out and giving more information about them. And the cliffs that they hang out on are gorgeous, too.

Such a great wee place to see lots of different sea birds, the upside down lighthouse is cool as well and there is information on it on all the different floors.
You get amazing views from here as well and RSPB staff and volunteers are amazing, they had so much knowledge and were also very friendly and helpful.

Stunning place to visit. Found the volunteer who helped me a really nice guy. Unfortunately I’m disabled so couldn’t make it down to see the puffins. I knew this beforehand but I still wanted to be there with my friend. Would have loved if the RSPB could provide a live feed to a screen inside the centre. Then those who can’t get down at least have some experience of all the birds.

Rathlin is one of those places that must be seen while on the northern coast of Ireland. A real treat for lovers and amateurs of nature and birds. I highly recommend it. From the port to the lighthouse and the pufinks 4.5 miles, you can walk if you have more time or take a local bus that will take you there in about 15 minutes.

Beautiful experience to see puffins, fulmars, razorbills, Guillemots and kittiwakes and also to walk through the lighthouse and read the story of the Irish lights. The puffin bus was an experience in itself . Well worth a visit.

Hundreds of thousands of guillemots nesting on these spectacular crags in season. Not many puffins this year. A return journey on the Puffin Bus from Church Bay costs £6. World class.
