Rubia Coffee Roasters

Rubia is one of the best coffee shops in town, known for serving specialty coffee that they roast themselves. The service is excellent, and the ambiance, along with the outdoor atmosphere, makes it a great place to enjoy quality Rwandan coffee while sitting and working. They also offer delicious snacks and fruit plates. I highly recommend this place!

Stylish, modern café in Kimihurura, just steps from the roundabout park. They serve excellent coffee — roasted in Rwanda and even exported abroad. I haven’t tried the food yet, but the small menu looks appealing and worth exploring later today. A perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee and a good read.

The process of ordering and receiving our coffee took no less than 35 minutes. Realistically, when going for a coffee, one should expect to be served within about 10 minutes at most. Unfortunately, in our case, the waiting time was far too long and did not meet this basic standard of service.

The coffee here is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy—clearly why they’re rated highly. However, the service was disappointing. The staff came across unwelcoming and indifferent, which made the visit feel transactional rather than enjoyable. For a place with such great reviews, I expected warmer hospitality. Sadly, the service doesn’t match the hype.

Excellent service, the server was really fast, he was working in 2 or 3 other tables and he did it really well; he knew the menu and the items that the kitchen had. The food was awesome, the juices were delicious, with the right amount of swiftness. The burgers was big and well done, it was the biggest burger I saw in kigali so far. And las but no least, the chicken curry sandwich was the best, I completely recommend for everyone to try this sandwich. The atmosphere in the place is nice. If you need to work and want to get excellent food, and great drinks, with a nice service, go to Rubias coffee.

Great option for good breakfast and to enjoy authentic African coffee

In addition to great coffee, they offer a variety of food options to complement your drink. For those who want to take the experience home, they also sell coffee beans. This place is a delightful café that combines quality coffee with a comfortable setting and good food.

One of the best Coffee houses in Kigali. The Hot chocolate and croissants are unmatched by anyone in town. Their breakfast is ok, wraps and burgers are good. Price is fair. Service could be great depending on which waitress is helping you, location, WiFi and their selection of blues music make the place serene and inviting.
