Ruby Claire Hotel Geneva

Absolutely amazing hotel from start to finish. Booked a trip to Geneva through Easy Jet and I was shocked at how good the price was considering they have these same chain of hotels around the world and comparing it to the price per night you would pay in the London Ruby hotel, the cost for the Geneva Ruby Clare was fantastic. The hotel was so stylish, the interior and overall vibe was so modern and relaxed. The bar was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms were spacious and I loved the Bluetooth speaker as a nice touch for when you are getting ready for the evening to listen to some music. Loved all of the mood lighting in the room, particularly the spotlights around the big vanity mirror. The rooms were so modern and comfortable, the only thing that would have made this an 11/10 was if there was a small fridge in the room so you could keep some drinks and snacks in during your stay. It would have been nice to keep some drinks cold especially as you’re there for a few days during a city break. The hotel is very very conveniently located for all shops, bars, restaurants. It is literally central to the whole of Geneva town. Bonus points for a McDonald’s being directly downstairs if you get hungry late at night! I would have given this hotel 5 stars for location, comfort and amazing cocktails included in our booking. However our room was 601 and located adjacent to the lift and so constant whirring could be heard of people returning or leaving (this is the only way to access reception and your rooms). The second evening was a Saturday night and the hotel must be near a club as it was gone 1.30am and there was continuous club music which prevented us from sleeping. When you have an early flight to catch and chose the hotel for location so spent more money, this didn't fulfil the relaxing weekend break away we had hoped for. |Beds were comfy but even in December the room is too hot and air conditioning doesn't really work. Staff are friendly and cocktails amazing. They save money by not having coffee and tea in your room. If you wish to get this it's a fair trek to the library, with some paper cups and tea bags. Coffee wasn't obvious and I wouldn't bother. Cleaning service I get as we didn't need spare towels so didn't pay for this as extra but they offer lovely scented toiletries but really skimp on the toilet roll which is hard and like using paper towels. |It is great for location but if you wish to sleep on a Saturday night... This isn't your place.

We had a great experience here over a long weekend at the start of December. First off the location is perfect. Right in the city centre. The rooms are nice and modern with all you really need. One nice touch is that every room has a guitar amp which you can use with the multiple guitars you can borrow from reception. Food and drink wise it's pretty standard hotel fare which tbh I wouldn't highly recommend, apart from breakfast which is excellent. It's a continental buffet breakfast but the selection and quality really sets it apart. The biggest positive from our stay here however was the staff. Truly excellent. Every staff member we met were brilliant but special mention has to go to Omar, Alex, Sasha, Monica, Erwan and Carla. The fact I've taken the time to mention individual names shows just how good their service was. Excellent hotel, highly recommended.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay for me (16) and my Mum’s first time in Geneva. Lovely welcoming staff, are there to help with any issues. Shoutout to Jacky for giving us a map and showing us where to go! The food on a night was nice and a wonderful fresh selection of items at breakfast for all appetites. Rooms lovely and cosy with good facilities, and a couple of English tv channels ! Only tiny issue is lacking draw space for clothes/items but we could work around it. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Ruby Claire. The rooms were clean and just as described. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at the rooftop bar as well. Jake made great cocktails, and when we asked for recommendations for things to do in the area Julie was kind enough to give us a hand-written list! I would recommend staying here if you have the chance, the location and the staff were lovely.

I stayed at the hotel for one night and booked it just a few hours before arrival. The hotel is very basic, and despite the short stay, my expectations were higher. It’s also worth noting that check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. What I liked: - Very convenient digital check-in and check-out, no need to go to the reception - Nice lobby with good, fairly priced drinks - Excellent central location — just a 2-minute walk to Lake Geneva - Good value for money for Geneva What I didn’t like: - The hotel entrance is through a shopping mall, which feels uncomfortable — it’s often dirty and homeless people sleep there - Poor cleanliness upon arrival: there were hairs and shopping tags left on the floor from previous guests - The rooms feel quite worn: the white wooden floor is scratched and chipped, and the ceiling looks more industrial than hotel-like - Room comfort is lacking: very uncomfortable pillows and low-quality bedding; everything feels synthetic and builds up static - Drinking water is only available on the floor, not in the room - Basic amenities are missing, such as slippers, cotton pads, and cotton buds - No view from the room, the windows face an inner courtyard

Slightly hidden in the middle of a block, but a great hotel. We stayed for six nights, arriving in the early afternoon. Rooms are not available until 15:00 / 3:00pm, but they will stored your baggage for you, so you can get out to explore Geneva. Desk is on the top floor, along with their bar / restaurant. We ended every night up there eating small snacks and drinking their custom cocktails, and usually got a coffee in the afternoon. Perfect location, a block off the lake, a block from the old town, able to walk to all the restaurants and transportation. Many things surrounding the area as well. Will likely stay here again when we visit.

AMAZING HOTEL, super fun and was very cool. The buffet was great the staff where super kind and I loved it! BUT It was in a very strange location like my husband when he says he’s at work! But the key to finding it was just to follow the fattening smell of maccas/ MacDonalds/ ( following your instincts to find the royal burger) because if you find mc Donald’s you find home, literally😭😭🥲🥲🥲🥲😂😂 JULIE the Dutch girl was an ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART she deserves a raise she is such a diva and always is so quick when we order something. As I said she was super kind and deserve an 100% raise!!❤️❤️❤️
