Ruby Coco Hotel Dusseldorf

I booked this hotel solely because the information on Booking.com stated that parking was available. After booking, I discovered this information was incorrect, so I called the hotel to cancel. During the call, a staff member responded in a sarcastic and unprofessional manner, saying, “Hope you enjoy your future booking with Booking.com instead of the hotel website,” and then hung up on me. I called again to try to resolve the issue, but the second staff member repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, and did not allow me to explain my situation. It is very frustrating to deal with staff who refuse to listen or attempt to help. It is the hotel’s responsibility to ensure that information provided to third-party booking sites is accurate, as this is how the hotel advertises itself. Parking is an essential requirement for many customers, and if only public parking is available, this should be clearly stated. Overall, I am very disappointed with the customer service. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this hotel. If this is how customers are treated before even arriving, it raises concerns about how issues would be handled during the stay.

Amazing place! Great location for the city trip with Kö right behind the corner, near subway station and old city. Despite the central location, no city noice in the room. Very helpful stuff. Good selection for the breakfast. Fresh and clean. I will gladly come back :)

The Ruby Coco was a complete delight. The immediate location seems to be amongst high end fashion shops and in fact the hotel is based within a shopping centre that has an exit right opposite an underground station - about two minutes from leaving the room to arriving at the station. It's a short walk to the river with bars, restaurants & Christmas Market.||It's a lovely boutique hotel with unusual decorations and has a very pleasant vibe. The central bar area/reception has a small rooftop terrace that had a DJ all day Saturday until 10pm and a live music performance the following evening.||My room was a perfect size for a single. Immaculately clean, modern design and in very good condition. ||The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. They elevated what is a lovely little hotel into a place that felt like home almost immediately. ||I definitely recommend and will seek out Ruby hotels the next time I plan a city visit

Small rooms without the usual amenities such as a desk and a coffee maker. The bed was good. The selection of breakfast is quite limited, and there were many empty plates in the buffet. The comfort of the chairs in the bar/lobby area is poor. Gym use is €10 per day. The staff is very friendly.

Check-in and Check-out are smooth and fast. The location is great. Being at the shopping mall is a plus. Breakfast is great and with a wide selection of food and beverages. Plus all the fresh coffee you might need. The baristas are fantastics. Shout out to Mazhar, who did my Check-out at 3 a.m. and delivered my precious goods to my fellow friends who were staying at the hotel. The air system in my room wasn't working properly. My friends complaining as well, and seeing the reviews it is a common problem.

We had a booking issue when Booking.com unexpectedly cancelled our reservation, but the hotel reception team (Marzhar, Sasha and Lina) was absolutely amazing. There were super helpful, friendly. Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Your really saved our trip! Highly recommended this hotel for their great service and wonderful staff.

Our room was burgled while we were staying at the Ruby Coco Hotel. The manager, Niklas, did not even turn up to talk to us about the incident, but managed a 5 minute phone call saying how sorry he was! Over £3000 of handbags, laptops, suitcase and perfume was taken.||||We went out for the evening , returned at 11pm'ish to find my husbands suitcase gone, which must have been filled with the rest of the goods that were taken. Numerous handbags, sunglasses, laptop, chargers, perfume and even my deodorant! ||||The hotel door through to the rooms, was not locked, so anyone can enter , especially easily when the reception desk are busy/distracted! The reception staff thought the card had been cloned but when the police arrived, they were informed that they could not say what time the room had been accessed by the thief! ||||The reason for the delay of this review, is that we have only just had a settlement from our insurers. The Ruby Coco offered nothing!

We’ve just had a wonderful stay at Ruby Coco in Düsseldorf- from the moment we arrived to leaving we were delighted with our accommodation. The hotel is quite quirky in a cool way, from umbrellas to rent, cute signs, a guitar you can grab and play to amps in the bedrooms. We were hours early for the 3pm check in after arriving from Edinburgh early in the morning. The front of house staff member could not have been more accommodating, sorted an early check in for us at 10am and settled us with a coffee while we waited the 10 minutes for the room to be fully ready - we’d only gone to the hotel on the off chance we could leave our bags there while we went out to explore and didn’t expect to be checked in early. ||The room itself, while compact, had everything we needed. The bed, after a long day and evening of exploring and enjoying Düsseldorf, was incredibly comfortable and the air con a necessity in the heat for these 2 Scottish tourists. We had a wee giggle about the shower/toilet being glass and in the room but both were super clean, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all smelled lush. ||The hotel is close to everything without the noise of the city, a great location for getting out and about as well as being close to markets and the train station. ||A great find and if we come back to Düsseldorf it’ll be our first choice for accommodation. A great vibe - we feel like they thought of everything.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Empfang von Bartender Ellen Gande. Nicht nur coole Drinks sondern auch viel wissenswertes über die Hotel Kette und Düsseldorf servierte uns Ellen. Ein wirklich schönes Ambiente und ein besonderer Charme hat die Bar des Ruby Hotels. Wir waren keine Hotelgäste, sondern waren auf der Suche nach einem coolen Drink an einem Sommerabend. Haltet euch auf jeden eure Bartender Ellen warm. Sie ist ein Goldstück und wahre Bereicherung für das Hotel.

My kind of place. Check in through tablet. Bar is the front desk and open 24/7. Clean rooms and quick service. Guitars if you need them. Fresh and tasty breakfast and close to everything Altstadt.

With a bad case of jet lag the hotel was a little hard to find since it is inside a small shopping center. Having said that, location couldn't be any better, right in the middle of the shopping district inside a 3 floor small shopping mall with plenty of stores and restaurants and a supermarket and drugstore on the lower level. Hotel is very modern, front desk is hard to find, it is right there in front of you but all you can see is a big coffee machine... yes, right there is where you do your self check in and if you need help like in my case, staff is ready to go the extra mile, even helping carry out our extra large suitcases up the stairs to the room. Room was clean and comfortable with nice quality and plenty of toiletries but no shower cap. Also, there is no phone in the room so had to go to the lobby to request extra hangers. Good buffet breakfast included with a nice variety of tea and espresso coffee at no extra charge, that is always a nice gesture. Speaking of nice gestures, only suggestion I will give to the hotel is to include a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Will gladly stay here again on our next stay in Düsseldorf.
