Delicious vegan food and coffee with friendly service! I loved my tacos with vegan chorizo and sweet potatoes, definitely recommend adding vinaigrette for a sauce. Both the banana and apple vegan crepes were yummy and paired perfectly with a hot pour over coffee, which especially hit the spot on a frigid winter day. Our barista was lovely to chat with which, plus the fireplace, made an inviting atmosphere. The total was pricey for Stevens Point but the quality was worth it! ☕

A hidden gem! A beautiful cozy clean cafe with incredible hot drinks, trendy filling and flavorful food choices, with incredibly nice staff. I got the poke bowl which was flavorful, complex, and filling. I dream of it now omg. A side of ham which was so so juicy and a pumpkin hot steamer (basically a pumpkin drink with no coffee) which was delicious!! This place was full of sunshine, nice people, cozy vibes, and delicious food. It was spotless as well

Stopped here for breakfast and coffee. Our baristas were friendly and fun, and the atmosphere is a bustling cabin-like cafe without being crowded. There's plenty of natural light, table seating, and counter seating, as well as a little bench in the front corner by the fireplace to hang out. Our lattes were tasty without being overly sweet. And my breakfast sandwich was delicious and clearly made fresh on the griddle with quality ingredients. The staff were happy to answer my questions about the numerous coffees available to take home in bags, offering their personal suggestions and chatting with me a bit. While I haven't tried the bags I bought, yet, they offer some very diverse coffees in region and flavor notes, along with very reasonable prices. Overall, it's a cozy and fun spot to grab a bite and a beverage.

I enjoy the s’mores latte and other drinks I have tried. The presentation and taste of the latte makes me feel like I am camping and enjoying some smores. Also, the food has been scrumptious. I have enjoyed the veggie scone and the bacon scone. Each time I have been here it has been great!

​Hands down this is the best coffee shop in Central Wisconsin. I live down in Plover but the drive into Ruby's Coffee in downtown Stevens Point is completely worth it. I am a huge regular here and it honestly checks every single box. ​The aesthetic is super modern and bright. It is spacious with massive windows that let in a ton of natural light. It is easily the best spot in town to set up shop with a book or get some work done for an hour or two. ​They roast their own beans and the quality is consistent. I always go for an iced Honey Latte or just a black pour over. They really double down on supporting local for their food too. They get their bread and baked goods from The Main Grain just down the street. It makes the breakfast sandwiches and grilled cheese taste incredibly fresh. ​The location is perfect right on Main Street near the river and directly adjacent to The Square for the farmers market on weekends. The staff is incredibly great and always provides awesome customer service. They move super fast so even if the line is long it does not take long to get your order.

Upon arrival: We noticed several handicapped parking places but there were steps up to the front door ...I'm not sure if there was a ramp in back. At the door: there seem to be a line It was busy and bustling lots of seats were taken but It was not difficult to find a place to sit. There is a shelf along the ordering line with menus for food and drinks, I noticed a fireplace and it had begun to snow so I asked the server if they were planning to turn it on and she immediately did to our delight! Ordering: after getting situated by the fire, we made our selections from the menu and approached the counter to place our order. The counter staff was delightful and helpful and took our order in a very friendly way apologizing for the items that were out of stock and helping us make alternate selections. Enjoying our meal: my mushroom crepe wasn't exactly what I expected but was good nevertheless, and my husband ordered the harvest bowl which was delicious! I imagine it could be very different every time you ordered if you chose a different meat each time. I would like to go back and try different crepes on the menu as well. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the gluten-free barley crepe and mostly just liked the filling! I highly recommend the fig latte which was the flavor I chose because I was disappointed they were out of the Cherub crepe that has figs. Before leaving: We asked what to do with our dishes and there are busing trays hidden at the corner of the bar where we were able to leave our dishes because we wanted someone else to be able to enjoy the corner table by the fireplace. If we lived nearby we would definitely visit again for the unique menu! We might even make the 30 minute trip for someplace special when we are in the mood for a real treat.

Why do I love this place? Let me count the ways: Gluten free baked goods- these actually taste GOOD, and I have never had a reaction. On top of that, they seem to take gluten free preferences seriously. Drinks- their hot chocolate is MAGICAL, most places have really sickeningly sweet drinks, and somehow the hot chocolate here is the perfect amount of sweet and chocolate without being overwhelming. Their cider is fantastic as well. Safety- if I order a drink online, the lid has a safety sticker blocking the drink hole. This is actually why I came to write this review today, because it occurred to me that people can and do spike drinks, and I've never been worried about it from here. Staff attitude- everyone here strives to create a positive experience. 99.9% of the time, my order is perfect. When mistakes are made, they are fixed quickly, and I have never felt like an inconvenience. There's been times where I had made the mistake and was confused, and they have always been kind in helping me figure out what it was I actually wanted. They ARE a little pricier than I'd like, but the quality of what I have gotten here has been worth it, especially given that in most establishments, gluten-free goods are typically expensive and taste of disappointment. I'm very grateful for this gem and the people working here.

Stopped here while on a road trip. Had the GF buckwheat crepes. The food was amazing. Staff is very knowledgeable and we felt safe eating here with Celiac disease.

Absolutely amazing food and drinks. I went for lunch and had the most beautiful beet salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I had apple cider with it making it the perfect lunch for a fall day.

Food is great - coffees & teas are great. Some of the staff are really friendly but others seem like they aren't happy to be there. Puts a damper on an otherwise great experience.

I had a fabulous breakfast of potatoes with over-easy eggs, cooked perfectlyto order I also had a mocha which was made with care by a very nice barista--it was delicious. Small, loud and bustling coffee shop vibes.

Thanks to a friend who said "we must try" Ruby's.... Yes! What a great selection of coffees and teas. Service is friendly and helpful. Didn't have food- but the plates/dishes looked delicious and fresh. The BLT sits on a rustic white bread that my gf said is really good. Busy but plentiful seating areas... even around the cozy fire. Definitely happy to come back here again.

Amazing espresso drinks! Made just right, you can taste the yummy espresso and whatever flavor you select - not overly sweet like the big chain coffee shops. Food is also amazing. Service fantastic! Only problem is there is no Ruby Coffee Roasters in the Twin Cities. We should fix that!

Solid cafe in the heart of Stevens Point. Great chill, hip vibe with great coffee and solid light fare. Recommend both the breakfast sandwich and breakfast BLT. Both come in tasty freshly baked bread.

They have pour-over! And my breakfast scramble was amazing and filling. This is your breakfast spot in SP! I'm a big-breakfast guy so this was very satisfying. Tasted amazing too. Service was very friendly and accommodating to my requests. Bonus: it's a beautiful day today and there's a park right across the street on the river. Picnic vibes for sure. The first 3-star review I read was from 4 years ago and gave Covid vibes. This place deserves and in my mind has earned a 5.0 rating. What more could a guy want? I'm sure based on my scramble and other reviews that all the food is outstanding. Coffee is great of course. And farm fresh everything to boot. This is the spot!

A great little spot with nice decor and tasty looking small bites. But I was there for what should be a basic request from a specialty coffee shop.....espresso. One would figure that a business claiming to have "real" coffee, unlike the national chains (the barista's words not mine), would actually know the differences in espresso shots. Unfortunately for Ruby, that was not the case during my visit. I asked for a dopio lungo, and received a most puzzling look of bewilderment from the barista charged with helping me. So I restated my order in more layperson verbiage: Me: "Double long shot espresso" Barista: (still clueless) Me: "It's a double shot where more water is pulled than a standard shot or a ristretto short shot." Barista: crickets Me: "Your machine should have a button for it" Barista: (finally some life) "We use 40 grams for our espresso" Me: "I want a double pulled long" The barista acquiesced, took my money, and began to pull my shots. After a few moments of her fiddling with her machine. She happily handed me my drink.......a single shot of espresso. Me: smh So what's the moral of this story? If you are going to call yourself a "coffee company", please take the time to learn the VERY BASICS of coffee. I get it that the majority of your clients don't know what coffee is unless it's dripping with caramel or some other form of bastardization, but please learn the essence of your professed expertise. The shot had some sweetness typically associated with an espresso and did lack the bitterness of some of the national brands, but the burnt undertone was difficult to overlook and left a linger flavor of carbon on the edges of my palette. A very disappointing coffee experience.

We stopped for a quick breakfast here before leaving town and it was great! Loved the honey lavender latte and blueberry oat bar. They sell coffee beans and they even grind it for you. So i bought the fig almond cherry dark chocolate blend seasonal coffee and it is absolutely delicious. Definitely would come back!

This place makes me want to live in Steven's Point. The breakfast tacos are . Kids loved the blueberry lemon crepes. Vibes are great. Didn't get the merch, but I wanted it! 10/5 stars. Highly recommend.

Grabbed coffee with my sister and wife before some hikes. Definitely has the caffeine to power you through any activity!! Service was super fast and had my drink pert near before I could finish saying the order. Lovely little cafe with lots of seating and outdoor space! Now...for the cappuccino review as all my fans know I give the most in depth review that will surely knock your socks off. Cappuccino: 3.5/5 Honestly, it was objectively a good cappuccino. I just didn't really care for it. Maybe it was just my taste buds for the day or maybe the beans were a bit off/old. I'd give it another try! But for that day, it wasn't the best one I've ever had. The drinks my sister and wife had were absolutely baller. This place is worthy of a 4 star review and could be a 5 if I try the cappuccino again!

I met my friend here for breakfast and coffee. Nice selection of items with some specials mixed in. I had the breakfast BLT and one of the special coffees. Service was quick and it was good. I'd come back!

Love the vibe here! Ruby Coffee Roasters has a wide selection of beverages and food, which makes this place excellent for all occasions! I came here for brunch and had a difficult time choosing what to eat because everything sounded soooo good. We went with a savory crepe and French toast to have a little sweet and a little savory. Loved them both! The sausage and potato in the crepe were tasty and the French toast was not overly sweet. Great service and location is perfect. I will make this spot my go-to place now for coffee and yummy food!

Ruby, coffee is some of my favorite coffee. The staff and café were very nice and clean. Would highly recommend this coffee to anyone that hasn't tried it before.

Cute coffee shop located in Steven's point which offers a variety of coffee and caffeinated drinks. Rubys has a great selection of brunch/breakfast foods and also grab and go eats. I tried the honey lavender latte with a tomato basil scone. My sister had the s'mores latte with a lavender breakfast cookie. Both the drinks and grab and go breakfast sides were lovey and fresh. The scone was no dry at all which I greatly appreciated and the staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend stopping if you're in the area

We stopped here on our way out of town for some hiking and was very pleased with our experience! They have a large parking lot, which made things easy to start. The service was efficient and very pleasant. I ordered a small caramel late and was surprised to see how big it was! The s'mores late was so cute and came with a vegan marshmallow. The ambiance was very cute and could be a fun place to be in both summer and winter. We did not get food, but the menu looked delicious.

Formerly the Water street Grill- this lovely space has been transformed into a cozy coffee and food heaven! The staff is knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. Drinks are brewed, steeped and created with care and the results are well balanced. The food is fresh and flavorful! The vegetarian friendly fair is worth a stop all on its own! Lots of seating, places to study, catch up with a friend. If I was based in Point- this would be my go-to!

Spent the weekend in Steven's Point and made it to Ruby's TWICE! It was good enough to come back. Enjoyed a honey latte one day and a traditional cold brew with creamer the next. Their peanut butter and chocolate chip bar was DELICIOUS and vegan! Egg and toast was also good....especially the whole grain toast. Very flavorful. The line was out the door both mornings. Great atmosphere with a rustic, natural wood and black vibe.

I love Ruby's! Its such a cute spot! They have tons of gluten free options and are so nice about modifying items for food allergies! And the staff are so kind! Such a treat! Thank you!

Great drinks! Food was fresh, innovative and delicious. We have the Benedict special with perfect hollandaise sauce and a breakfast sandwich. The scones and nana bread could have used a little more live but all in all a good meal.

Wow, this place can't be missed in Steven's Point. We stopped for coffee... after seeing the menu, we grew our plan into breakfast and lunch. Let's start here- they have delicious pastries and sweets, pretty much something for everyone. I would go out of your way just for these... but there's more. Uncover their full menu - you'll find a diverse offering of sweet and savory beautifully crafted meals. The burger was a treat and lots of house made sauces and other gems.

Really good cup of coffee. I was passing through Steven's Point and stopped here. The internet suggested it was the best cafe in town. Well the internet is not always right. But this time it did not lie. I drink my coffee black. A tasty complex cup of coffee. Mildly sweet with a flavorful bean taste. I also like that they had large and small to go cups. As much as I love coffee sometimes pretentious coffee culture can be annoying. I did not catch any of that vibe here. I liked it so much I went back to get a second cup. Service was very friendly as well.

Fun coffee joint with a very "campus" vibe to it. I had breakfast there with some colleagues, and we were uniformly impressed with the quality of the food and the beverages. I would definitely swing back here next time I am in Point.

Came here Sunday mid morning and the atmosphere was friendly and quiet. We had seasonal vegetable and tempeh crepe, our oat milk lattes were excellent, and the building was clean and beautiful - plenty of outdoor seating.

They are a bit pricey, but they definitely serve a good cup of coffee. I love that they are community-minded.

Perfection. This coffee is world famous and it should be. For a corner of the world that often goes unnoticed - it is quite refreshing to have this gem in, literally, our neck of the "woods". Worth the 90min drive from Rhinelander.

Super nice and extremely knowledgeable staff. Obviously great coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast options. The strawberry crepe was fresh made and delicious without being overly sweet. Loved the San Juan coffee and very much looking forward to trying some of the other breakfast options!

My recent experience... I stopped at Ruby coffee and wore my mask. I was about to order and was rudely interrupted by a worker behind the lady that was going to take my order. The man told me to pull my mask above my nose since it was slightly below. First off, the door just says, masks required. It does not say if you wear a mask slightly below your nose your not allowed into the store. Also, nobody else was in line with me and there is plexiglass as a barrier between me and the co-workers. Lastly, this made me feel small and not welcome into the store. It was an awkward moment for me and the employees. As I walked out, I didn't hear anything from anyone so they didn't care if they lost their business from me. This was extremely disappointing to experience, and sadly I no longer support or recommended this coffee shop because of this incident.

I needed a coffee pick me up. It is a hipster atmosphere and a good menu. The coffee was good, I would recommend going! I didn't get to try their pastries, but it looked good with a decent variety

This place is the best. The cold brew is amazing. It's closed due to COVID but they still have an amazing walkup window. Love love love it!

Best coffee in a 100 mile radius and the food is incredible too! The staff is very friendly (to customers and to each other! Always nice to see!) and the location is super. If I lived in Stevens Point I'd be here every day. PRO TIP: if you're heading up north to go camping or whatevs stop here and pick up their instant coffee. I couldn't have survived working on the road this summer without it.

My absolute favorite place in all of Stevens Point! Beverages are incredible, food is so unique and fresh, and the staff are some of the nicest people around. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone I can!

My mom and I were in town visiting family this weekend. Our hotel was close to here and we thought we'd try it out. I will say that the brief interaction with the guy taking our order was great - he was friendly. However as cool as the interior vibe of this space is, the service (other than the guy who took our order) seemed a little icy. I imagine COVID has something to do with that - less interaction in general. But it was this feeling that we were a bother. I know ruby has a great reputation for coffee. I don't doubt that. I ordered the honey latte, my mom ordered a maple latte. They tasted pretty much the same. They were both lukewarm. Again, I know COVID has changed the way we do business. But I feel like the customer service and temperature could be turned up a bit.

What a gem of a spot! This is what happens when coffee, food and design come together. Couldn't have asked for a cozier place to spend my morning and the coffee was delicious!

So yummy. Better than anything I've had in Minneapolis, which is where I'm from. Very cute place. Super fun menu and crepes! Coffee drinks also superb.
