Ruby Mimi Hotel & Bar

Location is absolutely perfect, especially if you're traveling in/out by train, as you're just a couple minutes away as soon as you get off your train. The vibe is awesome, very modern, very unique. The bar downstairs is worth a try even if you aren't staying here. The room style is definitely unique, and some of the smaller sized rooms can be a bit too tight if you're a couple with luggage. We loved it, just wished the rooms had a nespresso machine like many others at this price point. All in all, excellent experience.

Just enough room for one luggage and one person. The set up is definitely unique. I stayed in the 6th floor and overall, everything was ok, I was expecting a better experience similar to staying at hotels within the same price range. Location is great, you’re feet away from everything, speciality the train station. The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was ok.

Charming and accessible boutique hotel. Self check in at counter but assisted by bar staff. They were all helpful, able to speak multiple languages and one of them kindly let me use his phone to make a local call. It was a rainy day but the hotel’s fantastic central location made it easy to do a short exploration of Zürich Main Street and old town. Chestnut stand nearby. Lindenhof had a lovely view. Cafe Henrici had a great cheesecake. Chiang Mai restaurant a short walk away had delicious affordable Thai food. Room was perfect - modern and comfortable. Plenty of space for huge bags. Powerful rain shower and great toiletries. Loved the Marshall amplifier- play music from your cellphone by holding down the Bluetooth button on the machine and connecting your phone Bluetooth to the “Acton II” device. Tip: if it’s bad weather out, consider enjoying a movie at the in house theatre on the first floor. Seating is divinely comfy. 8 pm every night.

I had an amazing stay at the Ruby Mimi Hotel in Zurich! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Xenia, who made my stay even better! 😊 She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a smile. Her outstanding service truly stood out. I’ll definitely come back!

The rooms were surprisingly small with about .3 meters between the bed and tv that I couldn't walk past without hitting the bed and tv. However, the service was great. Noemi really was super pleasant at the front desk. Even though it was self check in she didn't wait for us to ask for help she guided us the whole way.... And was nice about it! Genuinely nice! What a wonderful treat it was. The cinema was fun and popcorn delicious. The only improvement would be if popcorn was available in the cinema and you didn't have to go up to the front desk to get some. The bar was nice and bartenders friendly. The breakfast was underwhelming for $28, but we weren't there for hotel breakfast so it didn't affect us. It wad nice that they had something.

This was a very wonderful hotel. Great location, walking distance to everything (restaurants, shops, museums, center of Old Town etc). I enjoyed my stay with my husband. Our rooms clean with a great view. We visited the bar/lounge area several times and the drinks that were made by Noemi were the best that I have ever had in many countries that I visited including my home country of USA. Absolutely delicious. Service provided by Thaina was also amazing. She is very kind, prompt and answered all of our questions. She also recommended a lot of amazing restaurants nearby. Both Noemi and Thaina made our stay even better.

What a unique spot!! The hotel is themed based on old Hollywood. Rooms are very unique and old-timey, but very clean! We just stayed one night as an “in between” stop between destinations. Overall, this hotel is a good choice. It is in a very walkable area and it is very safe. Bar and restaurant is a great choice but very pricey. Another thing I will add is the inconvenience of check-in. You check in yourself at an iPad and have to input all of your information that you already give them when you book. The rooms also have very little amenities, however floors 1-4 have a spot where you can use the iron or get free coffee/tea. Would definitely stay again just due to the fact it was so convenient and affordable for what we needed at the time. A great stay even though it was so short!

This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station so the location is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and the bar is great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful especially Xenia. She helped us check in and gave us great tips and recommendations. She was so friendly and each time we saw her she made us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend Ruby.
