Ruby Sofie Hotel Vienna

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Ruby Sofie Hotel in Vienna! The rooms were fabulous and the staff was incredibly kind. We especially enjoyed the bar, very laid back and tranquil vibe. Emilia did such a great job at making us feel comfortable and gave us great recommendations for the city. We will definitely come back next time we stay in Vienna.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is nice and clean. I had issues with noise from the fan, despite it being turned off there was continuous humming noises and intermittent high pitched whistling / squeaking. I went to reception where I was advised it was a known issue in all rooms so that moving room wouldn't help me. I was further advised that they didn't have ear plugs. I had some colleagues who stayed the second night, one on the same floor as me and one on the 4th floor. Neither has issues with the fan so it wasn't all rooms. I extended my stay in Vienna by two nights but opted for a different hotel to get some rest.

Great location, property, amenities, room, restaurant; bar and staff! I want to take this chance to thank all the hotel staff for the excellent service and care during my stay! Special thanks to Maria, whose service with smile and care was simply outstanding! I would love to come back.

I had a fantastic stay at Ruby Sofie Hotel & Bar! The room was bright, clean, and stylish, and the rooftop terrace was a lovely bonus. I would especially like to thank Julia Maria and Jules for making the experience even better — they were incredibly kind and helpful during check-in and check-out, and made sure everything went smoothly. Their warm and professional attitude made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

This hotel... Man... Bloody brilliant!||My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights at the Ruby Sofie Hotel, and what a treat!||Excellent room at a brilliant price, nice and varied breakfast, and a staff so much on our wavelenght, I can't praise them enough!||The hotel itself is cozy with an almost familiar feel. A nice and inviting open bar/reception/breakfast area, wirh an industrial feel and jazz-club-like decor. Brilliant drinks and a nice, tasty and varied continental breakfast to boot.||The staff is so very nice and inviting, no pomp and circumstance, just good people, who seem to like making the guests feel at home and joking around. And, understanding german quite well, I have only praise for them... I heard them talking about my girlfriend and me and saying we look so happy together. They are, of course, correct, but having overheard my share of rotten attitudes, it was an immense pleasure encountering the lovely people of Ruby Sofie.||The room itself, a nest room, was excellent! The open plan shower gives it such a unique feel and atmosphere. I can't praise it enough. Luxurious, industrial, and elegant, romantic and "rough", all at the same time. That, combined with a focus on sustainability, for me means, that I'll recommend the Ruby chain of hotels, at the Ruby Sofie in particular, to anyone who'll bother to listen to my recommendations.||The location is excellent as well. Within walking distance of the old, Imperial city centre, close to U-Bahn and shopping aplenty, should one be so inclined.

Good location and breakfast had a nice selection. However worth knowing the hotel is attached to a venue which has events with loud music until late on weekends. Disappointing there's no phone in the room or phone number to contact reception, and access to an ironing board is shared in the main corridor. Also the cleaning team ignored the do not disturb sign on the door which isnt really acceptable. Would say it's more like a nice hostel rather than a hotel. But the service from the breakfast/bar staff made up for the shortfalls. In particular, Michelle, Juls, Maria, Emi and Nara were so helpful and lovely to all guests. They couldn't do enough and remembered my coffee order each day! Thank you to the staff for making the stay more enjoyable.

Elegance combined with true Austrian hospitality! What could you ask more? The rooms are well designed, super comfy bed and with an outstanding staff. The Bar/Reception area is just cozy and inviting. Loved it here!!!

Great spot not just for business conferences and events, but also a real treat for rock music fans. The hotel is within walking distance of Vienna’s city center and has excellent airport access via the City Airport Train (CAT). What really makes it stand out is the rock-inspired vibe – guitars on the walls, Marshall speakers in the rooms, concert photography, and playful messages placed throughout the space. Even the reception is uniquely combined with a stylish café bar, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff add to the charm – especially the receptionist/bartender whose rock-inspired outfit perfectly matches the hotel’s theme. The only downside was that the room didn’t have much of a view – just a wall outside – but it still got plenty of natural light during the day.
