The room was very small, one side of the bed was against the wall and I could just barely get out of bed on my side. The room has this “instagrammable” “cool” vibe with lights around the mirror (like in the movie star’s changing room, yay!) and Marshall speakers, funny-ish messages (“blow me away” written on the bag where the hair dryer is kept -creative!). The bar looks cozy and cool (would have preferred some natural light!)||Prepare to navigate a very small space, especially for a couple. There were plumbing issues in our toilet/bathroom.|Our departure for the airport was very early (4:30 am) so we asked for a knock on a door at 4 am. No one knocked on a door to wake us up. Of course, we had our alarms set, but it’s the matter of attentiveness to guests and their needs. The staff arranged the taxi, at least, but I’d advise against asking them to book a ride to the airport for you. Do it yourself and check the price. The taxi driver arranged for us by the hotel charged us €55 euro for a 20 min ride. I think this is way too pricey and not in the “lean luxury” spirit, whatever it means. |I am glad we did not opt for breakfast. Thought that charging over €20 euro per person is extortionate. We went to another place a short walk from the hotel and had option to just have a|Porridge and coffee (cheaper) or eggs Benedict or such, for less than €20 euro.
