We stopped in for brunch and it was amazing! Better than I had expected and it will have us back. We had the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, it’s mouthwatering. The gravy has wonderful flavor and the chicken was nice and crispy! We also enjoyed the croissant French toast with apple on top. Perfectly balanced and tasty. Enjoyed the Brunch punch and a Bloody Mary to top it off. Service was nice the friendly and the restaurant is very fun on the inside.

My husband and I love Ruddick/Wood! We come from McMinnville every few weeks for their brunch, and have been in for their afternoon happy hour as well on a few occasions. The service is always friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. While not cheap, it is my opinion that the quality of food and drinks match the price! A delightful date location.

My wife and I came for brunch. She got the brioche french toast and I had the fried polenta with mushrooms and a fried egg on top. The food was absolutely outstanding. The coffee was also excellent. Our server was polite and very helpful with the menu. She was also very prompt with coffee refills! We will be back as often as our budget allows!

Google
We just came from brunch at Ruddick Wood. So satisfying! I had the breakfast skillet. The steak was seasoned and cooked to tender perfection. I love the bread they use for their toast, elevated with a spread of delightful honey butter, and every bite of eggs or home fries was flavorful. I also tried a bite of the pork belly, which made me swoon! I also appreciated the warm, casual atmosphere and great service.

Google
We tried this place. Servers were nice but inexperienced. Our food took a while, ot was presentable but had no taste. Well, the stuff that didn't have red pepper flakes on it had no taste. Almost everything had red pepper flakes on it and was spicy. Even the fries and my kids couldn't eat them

Google
Great menu featuring locally sourced items. Staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. I had the pork chop. It was perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back here. They had a nice selection of local Pinot's.

Google
(A pleasant change of Outdoor dining with no masks - although today was the first day the Communist Governor’s ridiculous “mandates” expired so that might have contributed) Delightful outdoor dining experience and wonderful menu selection. All of the foods had a refreshing complexity of flavor combinations due, in part, to the open flame grill and infused with wood smoke notes. Definitely try the fries and don’t overlook dessert. The apple bread pudding with caramel was stunning! Complaints: While their drink selection seemed well though, it was a disappointment they used table salt on our margarita. A “23% service & wellness fee” is added to every check. Sorry, if you can’t afford to pay your staff or your food isn’t good enough to draw a crowd, rethink your business plan. Disguising this as a “service and wellness” fee is a recipe for losing a repeat customer.

Google
Worth the trip. Went for a brunch because the Chicken and Biscuit was recommended. Happy to say I wasn't disappointed. Service was super friendly. Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Welcoming. The Eggs Benedict was great, the greens on it really helped the flavor profile. The Chicken and Biscuit was great, if not a tad salty. Hazelnut Biscuit made it a great combo together. Looking at the menu, there were other items I really want to try. The Pastrami Hash and the Deviled Eggs to be sure. We will be back.

Yelp
Had Brunch on Saturday for our first visit to Riddick/Wood. Both of our meals were delicious but would recommend a couple of additions. The Skillet needed a little more egg and a few less potatoes. MY Polenta dish needed a few more mushrooms and another egg. Two slabs of polenta with only ONE egg and a tablespoon of sauteed mushrooms was not sufficient. Service was attentive, ambience was comfortable and the menu was creative. We will be back to try dinner next time.

Tara B.

Yelp
The food is good. I got the three course menu with fried polenta, chicken, and s'mores dessert, and it was all well prepared. The serving sizes were small, 4 or 5 bites even for the entree, but hard to tell if that was because it was part of the $55 three courses or just standard. A very large detractor from the evening was the full price refills on iced tea. The glass was 3/4 filled with ice, and you are going to charge another $4 for a refill, makes it a very spendy place. The service was friendly and didn't hover but could have been a staffing issue and not a norm. The ambiance is very European in the dark wood and quiet music. Not sure if I will revisit, but it was worth stopping in at least once.

Yelp
Definitely could have been better. First, please put a sign on your FRONT DOOR telling people you have to go around to the side door for lunch. There seemed to be some drama around the fact we came in the (unlocked) front door. We were kinda treated like we were stupid for not knowing you had to come in through the secret side door. Literally just a piece of paper, a sharpie, and a piece of tape. DONE. The service was friendly enough, though you have to order at the bar, meaning you have to fight for attention when you want something. The water is self serve and was sitting out in open bottles. There was no ice. So room temperature Newberg tap water. The place is interesting and has a nice ambience. Lots to look at. The food was okay, but everything was smoked too heavily. That or they used liquid smoke, I couldnt tell which. The taste was in my mouth the rest of the day. We ordered a burger med rare and the steak frites medium. The burger came out well done and the steak came out almost raw. The french fries were soggy. Get this - they automatically add 20% gratuity to the bill, even though you have to order at the bar and get your own tepid water. I cant remember if we had to clean up our own tables. I hope not! LOL Strongly doubt we'll be trying it again. MAYBE for dinner. Oh, that was the other thing. They acted like it was a dumb idea to come in for lunch since they have a limited menu. I mean, what the...? There are too many good places to go in Newberg to waste time at RW again. My advice would be to just shut down lunch service altogether. [imagine a "shrug" emoji here]

Carrie F.

Yelp
My favorite is the breakfast skillet with steak. Everything is cooked perfectly and full of tantalizing flavor. Service is top-notch.

Travis F.

Yelp
Very cozy bar. The deviled eggs were great, not the typical bar fare, which gives me expectations that other items on the menu would also be good. Bartenders were very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Michael F.

Yelp
The food was just so, so. It wasn't bad but it wasn't stellar either. I had one of their skillets and the wife had a burger. We just weren't impressed. The pork belly that came with my skillet lacked a crust and the flavor just wasn't there. The saving grace was the service which was friendly and welcoming. Dennys might be a better choice.

Erin O.

Yelp
I brought my out-of-state family here for brunch recently, before visiting the lavender farm nearby. We all ordered the fried polenta with egg on top (cooked your way). It was delicious! I also loved that this place makes it clear that Black Lives Matter and they support the LGBTQ community. I am an ally, too. The only disappointment, and this is weird because it is fundamentally a bar, was my Bloody Mary. For $12, it was served in a tiny juice glass, was overly spiced (and I like spice), but had no other nuance to it.

Tracy T.

Yelp
This review is for the R/W Tavern, which is located in the back/around the corner from the main restaurant. We love this place. We stop in every few months for years now and the food is always tasty and fresh, the drinks are quality and creative if you're looking for something new, and they're the best at supporting local wineries and breweries on their glass pour lists. Their team is fast and personable. The space has a cool, industrial vibe with awesome custom paintings of the Willamette Valley wine AVAs. Must try food: steak frites and THE BEETS. I daydream about their beets.

Laura S.

Yelp
Is this a joke ? The only reason I gave this place a 1 star is because I couldn't give it a 0 star. My husband and I went for a quick 2 drinks each. 4 drinks total. I paid almost 60 dollars. They included a 20% tip ? This place is not worth it. I have managed a fine dining restaurant for 8 years, years back and this is unacceptable. Our waitress was sweet but I would recommend for her to go work elsewhere. We will never go back and will not be recommending to anyone. Paul- I don't need a menu to order a tequila soda. Before robbing people at your establishment, maybe you should have your servers warn people of your ridiculous price add ons and automatic 20% gratuities. It's only fair since clearly people are not happy. You are defensive and unprofessional. Do better.

Linda G.

Yelp
I had brunch here on a Saturday morning around 11. At first I was a little hesitant as I was the only patron in the restaurant. However, I feel like I lucked out on a secret find! I had a breakfast skillet that was far and beyond better than any I've had before! The scrambled eggs were fluffy and dressed with a yummy house made pesto. The homemade sausage patty was very flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were tender and especially delicious with the homemade catsup. And the toast with honey butter was a delicious sweet treat to top it off. The staff were very nice and helpful even when I made an error on my payment. I might just go back there again tomorrow!

Diana F.

Yelp
Went here for birthday dinner & the food was super good. Service & ambiance was very nice.

Flory W.

Yelp
We were invited there by our son & daughter-in-law, because we're going to a symphony at a nearby university. It was like a celebration for the parents (us) birthday bonus dinner, in a way! RW also stands for: Ruddick/Wood. But, you will only see RW on the outside of the building. The restaurant was very cozy, we were seated right away, because we've made reservation in advance, and arrived on time. There were 8 of us in our party. First we ordered drinks. There was a wide selection of drink selection. For dinner, hubby & son had the Coq Au Vin: braised chicken leg, mushrooms, carrots, fingerlings, red wine jus. The chicken was very tasty, but it was not the traditional Coq Au Vin that was expected! I ordered the Steak Frites: seasoned fries or salad. I read that wrong, I thought it would also come with fries! This is the FIRST TIME, I have steak with just salad. The salad, very lightly tossed with dressing, (since I have cold, maybe it didn't even have dressing). No matter, it was dinner, I ate it anyway. I like the steak, it was done the way I like steak eaten in restaurants. I took half home, because I just didn't care to eat anymore (remember, I have a cold). But by the time the symphony was over, I wanted to stop at a DQ to have a burger & fries to eat on the way home. I was HUNGRY! And thirsty! The rest of the group: Gobbled all their food gone! They were quite satisfied with their meals! It was expensive, thankfully, it was a gift for the parents. It was a great choice to be, with families!

Sheila S.

Yelp
Oh what can I say...deviled eggs with roe. And there's the tonic water. I take it sans gin or anything else, it's awesome. I feel like I'm back East when I sit in the bar. It's cool but I take family into the dining room. Hmmm sitting outside in the summer. Good food makes good times. They have wine as well

Christopher W.

Yelp
Had a reservation for brunch this morning. We show ed up 5 minutes early and the table was set with a high chair as requested. Great! We then proceeded to wait a little over 20 minutes for anyone to come over to greet us. It seemed as is there was confusion of which server was going to be helping us as a couple of the servers in our area were not exceptionally busy (nor was the restaurant). My original food order (biscuit and gravy) was not possible as they were out of biscuits (which later turned out not to be the case as the table next to us ordered/got some). Weird. My drink order was forgotten about and we had to request it once again. The food was pretty decent and came quite quickly. The food has never really been the issue on prior visits. Thus the 2 stars. Honestly, I really want to love this place, but the service has gotten worse and worse every time we've come in over the years. We live nearby and there really is very little competition in this space. It seems like the front of house needs a complete overhaul.

Brian F.

Yelp
I don't understand why this is a 3.5 star rated place. The food was absolutely incredible and made fresh to order which is why it took some time to get it. We had Eggs Benedict and frittata. But the waitress was always coming to check in and make sure we were good. We will definitely be back!!!

Kate E.

Yelp
Terribly slow service. No water. Took over 45 min to take our order. The food was cold and tasteless.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Came here after dinner with another couple and the bartender was extremely rude. She served us one drink and then refused to serve us another. We're 40 plus and clearly not drunk but she refused to give us a second drink. The tip was included so we couldn't not give a tip. I highly recommend NOT going here. We were also the only people in the bar, should have been a sign... right after we left they put up the chairs to clean up. I think they just wanted to leave early. There was one gal that brought us our food that was very nice and the food was ok

Dwayne M.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and a great brunch. A bit pricey for breakfast food, but we enjoyed it - and service was good.

Sarah D.

Yelp
Yummy food and great vibes! Their 3-course tasting menu has been phenomenal every time we have visited Ruddick / Wood and is pretty reasonably priced! I would absolutely recommend this spot; we will be back!

Lauren J.

Yelp
This place is super cute. My gfs and I went here for a light bite, thinking we weren't that hungry. We all got mussels and shared the field greens salad. The field green salad is MASSIVE btw. Super delicious though and the 3 of us couldn't finish that salad haha. We also inhaled our mussels. So good! We enjoyed some wine with our meal as well. So nice to be eating in wine region! Definitely recommend.

Charles A.

Yelp
I absolutely love Ruddick and Wood - my wife and I have been going here almost every 3-4 months since college (2016) and the food and service has always been great! Food: 5/5 (Hash is fantastic) Service: 5/5 Environment: 3/5 Environment has always been a weird issue at this restaurant. The seating arrangement during times of day can be sun blinding with no curtains, forcing guests to shift seats or move around. The last few years since Covid has also been odd - for some reason we're fighting flies (small very small) almost every time we've eaten inside. We do love this restaurant and the service and food has never let us down - and I can confidently recommend this restaurant despite the odd few flaws that occur.

J S.

Yelp
Very tasty food. The place adds a 20% gratuity to your bill so don't be shocked when it comes. Rustic look but good food & friendly service

Sannalee S.

Yelp
Oh goodness... the deviled eggs, the beet bacon and apple warm sandwich, the dirty fries... some of the BEST tavern food I've had in a while! (Can't even imagine what their dinner fare is like!) But the cherry on the cake - the bartender knows how to make an incredible New York Sour. Perfection!

Jessica D.

Yelp
Wow! I've been to Ruddick Wood in the past for cocktails, but this was our first time for dinner. Please do NOT let the reviews on Yelp sway you from coming to this restaurant for dinner. My friend and I did the $50 pre fixe 3 course dinner. It was AMAZING! The baby greens and mussels for first course, seafood risotto and pot roast for second, and panna cotta and chocolate mousse for our final course. Everything was delicious, but the post roast was delightful and melted in the mouth. The seafood risotto was perfect. Portion sizes are way larger than we expected. Can't wait to have leftovers tomorrow . Olivia was our server and she was attentive and so sweet. Can't wait to come back! This is a must visit place for anyone coming out to wine country!

Paul B.

Yelp
The cocktail menu is creative and fun. The food is delicious. Servers are friendly. I'm coming back soon. Had delicious chilaques for brunch- hard choice as several other tempting choices on the menu.

ColHeightsChic E.

Yelp
The crew here went above and beyond to make my 50th birthday bash a special night. They accommodated 21 of us, served us a delicious meal and lots of good wine. All of our food was great, lots of seasonal veggies and carefully crafted mains. I'm so thankful to the restaurant for a perfect night.

Quay B.

Yelp
You must eat here! The food is delicious but the staff is superb. Jeff is a wealth of information on the wine and wineries around Willamette. We loved the spicy Baby Lettuce, salmon with pesto risotto and blueberry crisp. Scott was also fun! Relaxing atmosphere.

Rachael B.

Yelp
Definitely a favorite spot in Newberg. If you are wine tasting in Willamette Valley and want to start the day off with a perfect brunch, this is an amazing starting point that will set the mood for the absolute best day ever. This restaurant provides elegantly curated artisan flavors, offered up in a warm, cozy and happily inclusive environment that really sets the perfect weekend vibe for all. We've been here a few times and it never fails to surprise us but I'm convinced that the fried polenta topped with poached egg is the reason brunch was invented!

Jenelle N.

Yelp
Second time, and we love it! Everything we've tried are some of the best dishes we've had post-pandemic. This is upscale comfort food at its best. The three course dinner is a great value. The Gnocchi is light and delicate. Drinks have the extra touch. Brought the kids the second time and they approve of their cheeseburgers. The service is warm, kind and attentive. Can't recommend this place enough!

Kelsey F.

Yelp
Had dinner for a bachelorette party last month and we ordered a bunch of things and split it which was great. The fries were a favorite. Overall, the food and service was pretty good. We enjoyed the private little room near the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the bubbly too - thank you!

Matthew J.

Yelp
Service needs a lot of work. I FULLY SUPPORT the wellness charge and believe this should be more common. With that said, the sense of urgency and menu knowledge among staff is severely lacking. I feel that the restaurant represents itself as a casual, fine dining establishment. Items read well on the menu while dishes are "just beyond the norm". However, all the fundamentals executing them are severely lacking - from preparation to hospitality. After trying R/W several times, I hate to say it but things simply aren't improving. Great space, fills a niche that Newberg desperately needs but doesn't deliver the price point they're demanding.

Morgan S.

Yelp
Cute spot off the main Newberg drag. We didn't have a reservation, but they quickly sat us outside as requested. Upon arrival we read that there is a mandatory 23% service and wellness fee (what!?!). Service was slow. We started with dirty fries (AH-MAZING)!! Wanted the pulled pork sandwiches but wait, these are not served between 4-8 (also, what?!?). Ordered the tomato and stonefruit salad (by recommendation from our server) - unfortunately the portion size was smaller than we expected and we had a hair in the salad - so sent it back... can't tell you how delicious it was because we just had them take it back and remove it from our order. Womp womp. We also ordered the risotto which was fine. Not sure we will be back, but cute spot with decent ambiance. Summary: Pricey, slow service and somewhat disappointing food.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Love the food and the ambience here. Enjoy sitting up at the chef's counter and watching the magic happen. I especially love the polenta cake. Really glad to have a local go-to spot like this!

Lisa H.

Yelp
Have been here several times but last night tried their Chef's Counter and grew a new appreciation for how things are done here. Never realized their grill is in real wood fire and how much care goes into every dish. Every item was amazing from cocktail to dessert.

Todd H.

Yelp
It's a Tavern and seems to want to live up to that reputation. Almost every time someone has asked us if we had a reservation. We have not. We have been told it's a wait a long wait. Despite seeing empty tables inside and out. Every time a second person has appeared and asked if we needed a table and seated us immediately. Not quite sure what is going on here but it's consistent. The service hass been mediocre at best. Sorry I like to be asked or offered refills of beverages. Non alcoholic or alcoholic. Just want to be offered. There also seems to be a disconnect between the kitchen and the staff. Again consistently long wait for food. A waitress comes by says she is going to check on our food then a food runner comes out with our food and the waitress comes back saying it should be up soon oh here it is? The menu is limited. Imo. The salads seem to be the hit. The beet salad was great. The other entrees the fries are the hit of the plate. The deviled eggs are confused. In trying to be different they have resulted in a consistent salty spicy flavor. Heavy on both. Maybe to encourage additional drinking. Burgers have been average. Again fries have stolen if not rescued the show here. Maybe it's the pandemic and the difficulty of ordering food supplies. Hopefully the more we head back to normal the better they will become. Prices are high for what gets delivered to your table. There is some high quality but it seems limited to the salad creations. The rest of the menu has been just okay.

Zrinko V.

Yelp
They have some fun drinks here! I had a risotto bowl, buddy had a steak tartar and the wife had a "baby lettuces " sald. Good Oregon place. That is all.

Jo L.

Yelp
Nice place. Pleasant staff. Slow service though. Over 15 min to get my drink. Food was alright, but indistinct. Pricey for the experience.

Heather S.

Yelp
The service was excellent - the food was a mixed bag, hence the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. We started with the roasted beet salad which was well seasoned but we wish there was a bit more ricotta and/or they used burrata; however quite tasty. My sister's fried polenta cake was quite good but needed more mushrooms - the same with my eggs Benedict in which I chose mushrooms as the "protein" - it needed more, especially to counterbalance the greens. The English muffin was somewhat sad - it would have been better if it was toasted. The worst were the side of potatoes - it tasted like they had been fried/crisped previously and reheated in the microwave - they were limp, no crisp - like day old French fries that have been microwaved. All in all, the ambience is wonderful and the service excellent - I just wish the food lived up equally.

Lex E.

Yelp
Amazing cocktails, food, wine, & service. It's our go to dinner spot in wine country.

Karl R.

Yelp
Love Ruddick/Wood and happy to support a service industry establishment that actually takes care of their employees. Only ever had beer and snacks but the people working here are great, tap lines are clean, and the food was tasty. For all the negative reviewers that are upset that they had to tip 23%: go elsewhere. If this is more than a 3% uptick in your gratuity, you're a cheap bastard and shouldn't waste peoples time dining out, and then going online to post your politically charged bullshit rhetoric.

Diane W.

Yelp
First we didn't know it was bruch because that sign is placed behind a post. The atmospher is great. The service was pleasent but not great we had to ask for the room temp water. The BEER wes excelent and the menu looked good. I was starting too think we had a destination resturant to go to. Then we got our meal. My eggs benidect was horrible. The eggs were poached perfectly the hollandiase sauce was bland. The smoked salmon was so salty, you could not tast salmon, and it had never seen any smoke. The greens which I thought would be along the line of sweated spinach, it looked like canned collards. All served at room temp on an english muffin that was burned so bad I couldn't cut it. Add a side of cold potatoes, which would have been great hot, for $19 plus a manditory 20 % tip. Hubby had biscuits and gravy The biscuits were good a fluffy just not enoughy gravy. The chicken was hot and the breading was good but too thick and they didn't remove the gristle and cartilage caps from the thigh. It was ok but the gristley parts were not what I expected at that price. I gratuity is for good food and service I generaly tip 20 to 25 % . This was not worth the price or the manditory tip.

Blanche K.

Yelp
Used to be my favorite place! Service went down hill, prices went up, and they support a marxist organization so I will never go back Why can a restaurant focus on food and service and leave the political crud for the politicians.

Sandra L.

Yelp
Great drink but rude service. We stopped by Saturday afternoon around 4:30 before heading to a BBQ down the street. I wish we would have forgone the experience. We entered the bar area because we just wanted a cocktail. We were not greeted but asked if we had reservations. We said no we just wanted a drink. There was attitude from the bartender a look of annoyance a bad energy. We were ushered out of the bar into the restaurant to the equivalent of the kids table at thanksgiving. The waiter who served us in the restaurant was great . However we couldn't shake the feeling of being an uninvited guest.

Molly E.

Yelp
Took a friend to brunch today and it was as fantastic as usual. Staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant has an open kitchen format so we sat at the counter and watched our food be prepared. The frittata was delicious with spring asparagus! And the hazelnut biscuits are a must. Another great experience. This place never disappoints.

Len H.

Yelp
Food was decent. Great menu and really cool vibe. It was one of those situations where the waitress was clearly, super new and not only forgot about us but didn't put in one of the food orders...she really just needed a little instruction, but that's such an awkward situation. Hopefully, management sees it and is positively constructive. I'd definitely go back and would definitely recommend it...with the hope that the service has improved. She was a sweet kid, just clearly not coached up very well. I'm giving this a 5 because you should try it, but our experience was a 3.

Eldon K.

Yelp
Ten of us called a head a couple days and made restaurant reservations, we got there and got seated right away in a private area which was really nice. The waitress came to our table about ten minutes later and took our drink orders, I had asked if we could order our appetizers and the waitress said "I will get those when I come back with the drinks" well 15 minutes she comes back and says "ok I can take your orders which she does" I then ask for apps because we were all hungry and asked that the apps come before the meal. Two orders of bread and two orders of deviled eggs and one order of dirty fries come out. We were still waiting on two more orders of dirty fries to come but the waitress does say anything. Then our starters get severed still no fries. Our main course gets served and when all the plates are on the table the last two plates of dirty fries get served. No explanation of why they were delayed or at least an apology. I will say that when ordering our meals one of us said "what part of the chicken is served? Is the chicken free ranged?" She had no idea what part of the chicken was served. The appetizers were good, my chicken was a bit bland and no seasoning on it. At one part of the meal we asked twice for salt and pepper and it was never served. The dessert I will say was amazing and ordered an extra one to take home. Then came the time for the bill, the waitress never came in and said "are we paying together or separate?", she brought the bill and put it on the table and walked away. One of us chased after her and asked for our checks to be seperete. After getting the individual tabs some were wrong and we all went up to the register at the bar and fixed it. Now before anybody says anything I use to work in the serve industry before. I always tip above the 20% and true gratuity was already included in the bill

Loren H.

Yelp
Best burger in Newberg. While I'm not crazy about the built in service fee, I'm good with it as long as they continue to keep the service level high. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I hope they reopen soon due to a fire.

Joy B.

Yelp
For all the buildup this place received from a local I was incredibly disappointed. Weird menu. What I wanted was the pulled pork sandwich but sandwiches are not available between 4-8pm. Our waiter commented that they had a fabulous bartender. The margarita tasted like bottom of the barrel tequila with tart flavoring to hide that fact. Cheap drinks at high prices. Skip this place and go down the block and over one street to Recipe Neighborhood Kitchen. THAT restaurant deserves a five star rating.

Josh D.

Yelp
Buyer beware - Ruddick Wood now charges a 23% "Service & Wellness Charge"on ALL orders. They don't disclose this up front, it's just a surprise on your bill at the end. I wonder how many people don't read their receipt and tip on top of this by mistake? It's a nice restaurant, but their service has always been just fair. I happily tip 20% at most places when service is great. But to charge 23% "so they can provide a fair wage to their employees" is total bs. If you're not making enough profit, then cut expenses, raise prices and/or hire a better GM. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else in Newberg to eat. There's so many great restaurants with friendly staff in Newberg who know how to run a business. This isn't one of them.... In response to Paul's comment - I worked as a server for many years. Your comment about providing insurance and "taking care of your staff" is complete non-sense. Learn to balance your books and manage your expenses. It's a BS fee and we both know it. Paying your employees and providing benefits is a cost of doing business. Keep up your current business practices and there will be a For Lease sign in the window soon. I haven't visited a single restaurant since Covid that has this policy...

Takako S.

Yelp
Recommend to reserve Outdoor patio seating. They have local beers and wines, also a cocktail of the day by a bartender. I got a whiskey with slight peach flavor, which was a perfect summer drink. Tried handmade gnocchi served with sautéed corn and herbs, Heirloom tomato and peach salad. I tasted summer here, so yum!
