Rudding Park

Having previously stayed at Rudding Park Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by how much our latest visit exceeded expectations compared to our last experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the service had improved. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay were friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.||The Clocktower Restaurant menu was a little unusual but was enjoyed by our small group. The selection offered something for everyone, with a focus on fresh ingredients and included meze type starters and creative main dishes. I particularly enjoyed the evening meals, which were both plentiful and nicely presented , there was also a good selection of wines. Even breakfast was a treat, with a variety of options to suit all . The conservatory is a lovely setting for both Dinner and Breakfast and the staff couldn't have done more for us. Had we visited earlier in the Summer I'm sure we would have tried the outdoor Pizza ovens fare on the patio! ||The setting at Rudding Park is beautiful and the rooms at the Hotel are lovely, comfortable and well-appointed. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and provided all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Although the Spa was available to us our attention was focused on the golf courses. The welcome we received at the hotel was matched at both golf facilities. We noticed the Hawtree course layout had changed a little which we all liked. ||A much enjoyed short golfing break.

Visited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was just gorgeous! 2 hours spent relaxing in a beautiful setting, drinking prosecco and eating beautiful food- a really great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Thank you.

Amazing Spa experience as always. I love it here! I paid for a Spa package which included a treatment & brunch which was well worth the money. Brunch in the lovely restaurant was delicious. Caroline gave me an amazing Signature massage, one of the best I’ve had, she’s definitely experienced & I will be asking for Caroline again on my next visit. Overall a 5 star experience 😊🙏🏻

We had a fantastic stay at this motor home site we’ve stayed a couple of times . Everything was clean, well-kept, and easy to access. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind. A special mention has to go to Phil – his customer service was outstanding and couldn’t have been any better. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt looked after throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a great motor home stop.

We didn't stay, but we did eat at the Clocktower bistro, pricey but well worth it. Great for a special occasion. I can honestly say it was in my top 3 meals out ever. Everything, from the beautiful setting to attentive and friendly staff, to amazing food was top notch. The minute steak was perfect, the fish and chips excellent, but best of all were the bearnaise sauce and the tartare sauce accompanying them. They were absolute heaven and I wish they sold jars to take out. Top tip, if you like sweet tomato soup it is on the children's menu but if you ask they will serve you it as an adult portion/alternative to the pea and watercress soup. It is amazing, sweet creamy and gorgeous.

Clocktower menu has carefully curated seasonal choices for all tastes and cooked to perfection. The rooms are well equipped and well attended to ensuring for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This place is fantastic! Friendly, attentive and inclusive service. Class and comfort in gorgeous surroundings. I am a full-time wheelchair user and the team make my mother and I feel so welcome, we go back annually. The whole experience is amazing but the restaurant is a particular highlight for us, I have difficulty in swallowing and the team are wonderful at russling up delicious and inclusive dishes, beautifully presented. It is really lovely to be able to share the dining experience. The staff at all points are very friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and valued as a guest, whether you are drinking vintage champagne or the house wine. It's like going to stay with friends, everything is so comfortable and efficient. The spa is amazing and accessible too. You will not regret a stay here.

Second visit for Sunday lunch in the Clocktower. Initially service was quite attentive, although had to wait quite a while for our starters and mains. Once the waitress had cleared our plates away, we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, we agreed we would. The waitress went away, leading us to think she was getting the dessert menus, but she never returned. This also was the case on our first visit to the Clocktower restaurant. In my opinion the food is good, the service by some staff needs improvement.

It's time to pull out the big guns again and I'm not talking about my biceps. Have a got a belter for you, it's Rudding Park. This estate could warent several different entires because it delivers on so many fronts but let me break it down for you. It's a hotel, restaurant, estate, golf course, wedding venue, camping site and it probably even doubles up as a speed boat and dishwasher. As a hotel it is set in quite stunning grounds with scenerey to die for. The building is grandeur and everything about it screams class. What an ideal get away retreat. The rooms are divine and even have Molton Brown goodies packed inside. Now we're talking. The restaurant doesn't falter either. Equiste food but at equiste prices it has to be said. You wouldn't expect anything less though. They even have a Yorkshire hereos menu with locally sourced meats and produce. You can grab a bar menu if money is tighter and that offers superb value. I like to make my own sandwich from the list of fantastic ingredients. It'll make Subway weep for a year. If you are into your golf then this a superior golf course and as a wedding venue it is pretty much ideal in my eyes, although again it all comes at a hefty price. If only I could live like this forever. Alas for now I'll have to stick to Wetherspoons on curry night.

Sensational. This hotel has what a hotel should have, and more. Easily 5 stars. Buffet breakfast with all you can eat hot food, all you need to do is order or just go get it from the bar. Price was fair (GBP19 per person) food was excellent. A great tapas in the afternoon restaurant menu, a must try if you stay in this hotel. WiFi reception was really good and easy to connect. There are lots of space outside to walk around. The area is very nice. Harrogate is 15 mins away and it was a quiet nice town. The following review is from my son: Really nice hotel, good location, when we got there booked a room and had breakfast, breakfast really nice. After breakfast we went to our room, just as we got into the room, the door bell rang, a service person came in, giving us cookies with our names written with chocolate sauce. Had lots of fun. Next time when you go to Harrogate, book Rudding Park hotel. The following review is from my daughter: Very nice hotel with very nice staff and the food was really nice.
