Rue Du Liban is a lovely restaurant overall and we had a generally good experience. The food was enjoyable and the staff were pleasant and courteous. That said, for those familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine, it’s worth noting that the dishes are adapted to suit Indian tastes. This doesn’t mean the food isn’t tasty, it certainly is, but it may not feel authentic. Portion sizes are also slightly on the smaller side for the price.
We would recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant tends to be very busy. However, it’s also important to note that a reservation does not always guarantee immediate seating. We arrived five minutes early for ours, only to find our table occupied by another group who had arrived late for their booking. The staff then attempted to accommodate our group of nine at a table meant for five, which wasn’t feasible. As a result, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes despite having a reservation and arriving on time.
Overall, it’s a pleasant restaurant with good food, but the reservation management could certainly be improved.
