As a big fan of Thai food, I was excited to try this place after reading so many great reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.
Starting with the positives: the restaurant has a cozy ambiance with nice Thai-inspired decor, and the service was quick and friendly.
However, the food fell short, especially considering the price. While it still had Thai flavors, it wasn’t particularly impressive. The Pad Thai was average, the shrimp didn’t taste very fresh, the beef salad was overly salty, and the pineapple fried rice lacked depth and was a bit bland. For this quality, it would be more acceptable at a casual Imbiss spot, and in fact, I’ve had better Thai food at some Imbiss places. Given that we paid €80 for two people, I expected a higher standard, both in taste and presentation, which felt somewhat messy.
With so many other Thai restaurants in Munich, I wouldn’t really recommend this one to those looking for truly authentic and high-quality Thai food.
