Ruffles Beach Resort

I booked an AC room, but the AC was not working. The staff’s behavior was very rude. The checkout time was 10:00 a.m., yet they started calling at 8:30 a.m. asking us to check out. When we asked about a tea bag being provided, the staff responded that since it is a local hotel, it is not available. The staff does not have basic manners of hospitality.

The ruffles resort is located at a prime location in Candolim, beach is just 5min walk. The room is bit old, but justify it's economic price, and staff behaviour is humble. When we visited this resort, the in house resturant were close due to maintanence activity. However, the plus point this resort has 2 swimming pool. Overall good budget stay and humble staff. But, one drawback I found is checkout time at 10am is bit early.

we stay here all the time. |No its not the greatest, can it be a updated for sure! However looking past all that - the rooms are clean the towels and bed linen is clean. You have everything you need in your room to wash shower and sleep. What makes this place is the staff the food and the drinks. Its comfortable friendly, and all the staff are amazing. Pragesh (frankie) Anuraj , Anil , Bappe and all the others deserve a mention ... The pools are a nice size and its close to the beach and restaurants.

We arrived at 4 am in the morning to be met with what i can describe as the worst room i have ever encountered, no safe no drawers to put your clothes except a small desk draw and a wardrobe that is suitable for a child not two adults staying for 19 nights. 24 hour reception is available if you can wake the receptionist up. It was that poor that we could not bring ourselves to ask for another room, as my thought is if you think that putting guests in this room is acceptable then its not somewhere I want to stay. The air con was nearly hanging off the wall and was vibrating against the wall where the bed was so the chance of sleep with it on was minimal and we where both tired after a long day travelling. I wont go into the payment we made and did not receive back anything although the room was totally unacceptable. I can not comment on the food as did not re-enter the property once we left as after seeing the room i dread to think what things they do with the food.

Stayed here for 3 weeks. We had a fantastic stay whatever you wanted you only had to ask, and you got it. Excellent staff and everyone so friendly from room boys to management rooms basic but comfortable could do with pool bar but saying that only Stayed around pool once as beach only short walk away will definitely be back again thank you everyone at Ruffles for making our stay fantastic 👍

Ruffles is a friendly place to stay very nd beach right bang in middle of candolim.the staff are a lovely bunch always ready to.help food is good this is goa and you can get British food they do as great job come on were not in UK as for rooms they are basic but sheets etc clean and having been staying here for a few years and going to go a for 22_years I can say all.the guys are honest and kind for the price that Russell charges for two.people with breakfast which is not a lot it is good value for money some.people want it all champagne taste on lager moneythis place is a little gem nice food nicer people and live musis every night karaoke etc atmosphere always busy and friendly service it great guys,work hard can't wait to be back next year best wishes to.u all.

Been over several years and provides consistence service and food. Highly recommended, but need to book. Great for a change from Indian food , although they also do Indian food. Also Colman's mustard, must be good. Inside or outside eating, bur no windows make little difference.

Just returned from 6 weeks staying in Candolim at Ruffles beach resort, this is our fourth visit in 3 years & as always we have nothing but praise for what we consider to be our second home in India. Rooms are good “Indian layout” & are kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast is included and served poolside, the restaurant is very popular with a great selection of food from various cuisines but on Sunday the lunch / dinner is typical English roast (although the full menu is still available) with entertainment every evening.|However what makes Ruffles extra special are the staff who are focused on making sure that you enjoy your visit, the staff are led by the owner Russel who leads from the front in ensuring everything runs smoothly.
