A nice beach club with their iconic day bed and umbrella. We paid 30€ on a Thursday, arriving around 3pm and we were able to get two beds right in front of the water. Beds were comfortable and their menu has a lot of selections. It was a little hard to flag their staffs down since there were so many people but the staffs are friendly overall. It was a nice way to spend a day relaxing at the beach. We wish that they would open a little longer since the sun sets so late anyways but they already start packing up around 6:30pm. The bed and umbrella was indeed iconic for a Nice beach. Very beautiful and chic. I wish we have a little bit more space in between. It felt a little cramped with everyone an inch away from each other.

Ruhl Plage was amazing! Recommended by my hotel Concierge, we went 3 days in a row and had the best time. We had three beach loungers and umbrellas and were waitednon all day as we enjoyed the sun, sand, and water. The servers were great, especially Lauren, she catered to us and was very kind and pleasant. Everything we are was tops. The Caesar, the fruit, the burgers, you can't go wrong. Note: Be sure to wear water shoes, the beach is rocky and are painful to walk on bare feet.

A beautiful beach club! We arrived at 8:30 am on a Monday (Bastille Day) and were second in line to enter. By midday, the club was packed. We were brought to our chairs in the 2nd row. Beautiful view and amazing service! Our main server was Sebastian! He was incredible. He knows English very well and was so nice! He has worked there for 5 years and it clearly shows! He was a fantastic server. He always made sure come by and check on us every so often and was very quick to bring us things that we ordered. All of the servers seemed very kind! They have a restaurant on site and they will bring you literally anything you want from the menu straight to your chair. We ordered breakfast, a hamburger and lots of drinks! We had a bottle of Chardonnay, beer & even their virgin strawberry daiquiri was delicious! Everything was delicious! The beach is truly beautiful. What we loved about this beach club is the dock access. We were able to get into the water by ladder as opposed to walking down the rocks. All of the beaches in Nice are rocky, so I suggest you bring water shoes; however, it was still very enjoyable if you do not have them. They also have a shop inside where you can buy them if you want. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend!!!

We went early in the morning and were able to get a great spot close to the water. By noon, the beach was full, so keep in mind the limited space if you want to stop by. They sell beach shoes which are low-key not negotiable. Those rocks hurt like a b. Don't do it. Don't try it. Just... don't. Also, even though it's a private beach, random street vendors still wondered in to sell hats and massages, so be careful with your stuff. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. 10/10 recommend. Probably one of the best activities of our trip was getting to relax there.

Very friendly staff and attentive service. Can get busy so book ahead. We were served by Cindy who was very helpful. Thank you for a great time.

Came here twice for my beach days. Ruhl Plage is the most accommodating beach club you will find along the promenade. To be honest, it wasn’t our first choice and we had gone elsewhere first but were turned away with bad attitude. So glad we got to experience it, just make sure to go early especially peak season…when we arrived at 12pm we had to wait up to 2 hours for our beds.

This beach club is awesome the seats were great and server Remy was very nice and attentive. Also the watermelon is the bomb it’s sooo good. You can also rent a paddle board for only 20 euro for an hour which is pricey but worth it paddle boarding in the Chrystal clear water which was so deep and you could still see the bottom! Also there’s like a little dock you can jump off I did a death dive and almost hit the bottom then dived fr and hit the bottom. Also they’re a mats so you don’t feel the rocks that hurt! The ceasar salad was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. No lie. The breaded chicken was just so delicious I mean how do you even make something so good! Overall this beach club was so fun!

Lovely nicoise salad . Great service provided by the lovely staff. Best to get there early in order to get a sun lounger. Nice iced coffee with almond syrup. Oat milk alternative offered.

Yelp
This is the beach club I'm Nice with the beautiful blue and white umbrellas. As of June 2025, the cost for a bed and umbrella is €30 per person. Towels are extra, and we brought our own, so I don't know how much those cost to rent. The day beds cannot be reserved in advance. However, I think you can make reservations for the restaurant. We did not order any food or drinks, but I overheard the guest around me check out and the bills can definitely be in the hundred if you're into that. My husband and I snuck in our own water bottles and fruit. Not sure if that's technically allowed, but we didn't have any problems. For me, spending €60 for two people to have our own bed and umbrella on a beach for the whole day in the South of France is definitely worth it. You also get toilets and showers included. The beach club is super clean and the staff is so nice. The water is amazing and there is a life guard on duty. I would give Ruhl Plage a 10/10.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch one day, no reservation and were able to get a table right away. It was a little pricy but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. I love eating by the water and this is right on the beach! The restaurant part of the club is open but covered so you aren't sitting in the direct sun which is nice! The Truffle pizza was soooo good I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this restaurant when walking along the beach and I'm so happy we tried it for lunch! It was such a beautiful setting hanging amongst their striped umbrellas. Their poké bowl was really tasty. Everything tasted super fresh and the soy sauce on top was the perfect touch. We also opted for some shrimp tempura over veggies and this was an incredible dish too. The service was excellent. Our food came out in a timely pace and honestly, sitting right by the ocean was priceless. Their table settings and plating of food was beautiful. Such a great meal and experience while in Nice. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Terrible experience. Don't fall for the trap. Terrible serving experience, uncooked food. Literally just paid for uneaten food to get out of the headache

Yelp
When visiting Nice making time to relax under an umbrella, take a dip in the Mediterranean, sip on a mojito, and catch some rays is a must. Here they charge 50 euros to do all that, mojitos are extra but delicious. I found the equipment new, clean, and comfortable and if walking through the rocks is not your thing, they wheel out a bridge first thing every morning so you can walk past the rocks and climb into the water. Hey also have showers and restrooms for your comfort. Meals are also available but I had lunch plans elsewhere. What I did see of the food looks very good.

Yelp
Avoid this place. The hype is not true. The woman at the front is the meanest, rudest person I have ever been served by. She berated me and another random little old lady for being a few minutes early prior to opening, instead of just politely asking us to wait. Awful woman. We paid almost 80 euros for beach chair, towels and umbrellas to be ignored the whole time. Ridiculous. Shame on you. GO TO ANOTHER BEACH CLUB.

Yelp
I had a nice lunch here with my friends. My poke bowl was very good with lots of different components and fresh salmon. It was a nice portion and very filling. I had a good bellini as well. The restaurant is outside under a terrace with a view of the ocean. There are also beach chairs to rent, and you can order food from there. Our waiter was nice and we had no issues with service. My only complaint is that the food and drinks were pretty expensive, but you're paying for the ambiance. I recommend for a relaxing lunch with fresh food and an ocean view.

Yelp
Shortly after in Nice, decided to grab some lunch and of course I wanted to eat as close to the beach as possible. Ruhl Plage is right on the Promenade de Anglais and on the beach. It is both a restaurant as well as a place where one can rent a beach chair/umbrella for the day. As I was having a late lunch, I was able to get a table beachside which was perfect as there was a nice breeze and plenty of shade. For lunch I had the chicken Caesar salad which was filled with tender grilled chicken, fresh romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes. While this particular Caesar didn't come with anchovies, the dressing was nice...not too heavy and they didn't bathe the salad in dressing. To accompany my salad, I had the house white wine which was a Chardonnay. In addition, they served rather tasty rolls and crisps along with the wine. While the service was a bit slow (it took 5 minutes to get a menu and another 5 to order), the view and quality of the food make up for it. I would certainly return for a nice, casual Oceanside lunch.

Yelp
Fantastic location on the beach. Perfect Côte d'Azur vibe with a nice menu & good music. A vacation from your vacation...bring sunscreen & have your favorite drink brought to your lounge chair.

Yelp
We were staying at Le Meridien and was told that this beach club was recommended because they are known to treat guests well, especially patrons of the hotel. We were able to secure 2 beds at the front with an incredible unobstructed water view. Staff proved to be helpful during the reservation process. However, once we arrived and situated ourselves at 10:30 am no server approached us for the hour we were there. We decided to eat lunch at their restaurant and we're seated promptly. However, once again waited 30 minutes until being approached by a server. There were several servers walking around aimlessly and conducting team meetings in our presence during the time. Furthermore, there were only 2 tables seated in the restaurant including ours. When the server arrived, he apologized communicating that he was preoccupied with other work related responsibilities. We were finally served and the food was good, but not great. At the conclusion, we inquired about the lack of service at our beach bed and the waiter assured us that he had notified our beach server of our presence and that he would come find us after returning to our seats. Once again, we waited with no server in site. I finally flagged him down as he was taking another group's order so that we could order some drinks. Unfortunately throughout the course of the day this was a recurring theme. I understand that service oriented industries are struggling with staffing, but if you are going to charge a premium for the experience then the expectations need to match. Their seemed to be an abundance of staff for the volume of patrons since it wasn't particularly busy. Safe to say that compared to other beach clubs this place doesn't even come close. I also fault the Le Meridien for continuing to recommend a place, that based on recent reviews, continues to underperform.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to hang out when I an in Nice. I get myself a chair and relax on the beach all day and walk up to the table I have reserved in advance for lunch....always one closest to the ocean. The waiters are always very nice. Its not a spectacular looking place as its outside and not so fancy but the food is always super fresh and tasty.

Yelp
Excellent food. Good but not too quick service. Fantastic view of the ocean, including sun chairs.

Yelp
Not worth the money. The food was meh, the loungers were too close together, and the service was terrible. My server was nice but I noticed others being treated very rudely. Additionally, it took 20 minutes to place an order, as so few staff on the beach actually take them. Most of the staff essentially say taking orders is "not their problem," and it seems the entirety of their jobs is standing on the beach and doing nothing. I get that the plage privees are all overpriced, but if I'm going to be spending hundreds of dollars, I want bang for my buck, not mediocre food and terrible service. Le Voilier Plage and Castel Plage are much nicer, take your business there.

Yelp
Nice staff and really fresh and delicious food. But I was there in the middle of high season and the saltwater kiddie pool they advertise doesn't exist, so if you're making plans based on that you're out of luck.
