"A house this ridiculously gorgeous is made for staying a while. Located in West Texas near Ruidosa, a small town near the U.S.-Mexico border, and an hour and a half south of Marfa, it's remote, but equipped with everything you need: a washing machine, Wi-Fi and landline, dishes and silverware, and a coffee maker. However, it's better suited for fall or winter visits—there are portable cooling units, but not proper air-conditioning; the solar-powered house does have heating, though. Inside, you'll find two bedrooms, both with sliding glass doors looking out to the surrounding hills and mountains, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a living space with equally stunning views. Bed & bath: 2 bedrooms, 3 baths $550 per night at Airbnb (starting price)" - Stephanie Vermillion, Madison Flager
