Got some beans here after a disaster with my coffee at home left me without any coffee. That turned out to be a happy accident. The Ethiopian Okoluu is amazing, by pure chance I dialed it in correctly in one go too. Fresh, fruity and flavorful, perfectly (medium) roasted. I got there quite close to closing time but wasn’t rushed at all. Even had a cup so I could match the taste at home. Definitely a place where I will be coming back too, would love to try the cakes!

Come here for lovely coffee AND to shop for all the high-quality, at-home coffee materials including beans, filters, machines, etc. The folks who work here are friendly and will make sure you get the best coffee/pastries they have. I recommend trying whatever the daily loaf is for a bite. If you are looking for a place to sit and have your coffee, the greenhouse-esque space in the back is sunny and has cozy seating to share. The beans they roast are also excellent and reasonably priced with a wide range of roasts and options available.

Really good coffee and the barista is the loveliest. He knows what he’s doing and hr likes to converse with people. Place is a bit small, which is the only downside, I would say.

Extremely good and special coffee’s!! My new favorite place in amsterdam. The staffs know a lot a about the coffee and can help you decide what speacialty coffee would suit you best. They are really kind and helpfull. The coffees I tasted were amazing and I will definetly come back to try out more. Also the chocolate cookie was amazing!! I’m so excited that I’ve even gotten a hat and some beans as souvenir! Would recommend this place for anyone who likes to get a high quality coffe in amsterdam❤️🥰

Great little coffee roastery that sells a large selection of coffee beans for both filter and espresso, light, medium and dark roast. We buy most of our coffee beans here, and the selection is large enough and changes frequently enough for us to not get bored. All the coffees are labelled with origin and tasting notes which is really handy. Prices of beans are average for specialty coffee, but depends on the exact variety. They sell large 1kg house blend bags for espresso if that's convenient for you. They also sell a variety of brewing equipment, but nothing too crazy - don't expect to buy an espresso machine here. Think aeropress, V60, filter papers, cups and hand grinders. The store is also a small cafe too. You can get espresso (and cappuccino, latte etc) or filter coffee to sit in or to go. They also sell a selection of homemade cakes and pastries. The only downside is that the cafe is quite small. Often you'll struggle to get a seat if you want to sit in. On the plus side the canal or even the park is not too far. Staff are friendly and happy to give recommendations on coffee (though on weekend mornings it can get very busy!). Payment is with credit card.

Coffee is exceptional. The staff really care about every cup they make. The cakes are pretty darn good too - but not on the petit side (make sure you arrive hungry or aren't eating soon after!). Seating could be more comfortable but on the other hand many more people want coffee - so it's not a place to hang around for many hours, more a meditative coffee experience then back to one's habitual drudgery ;-)

Nice, little coffee place. Beans with a strong and unique flavor. I had the cappuccino with par milk which was really delicious. The backing goods and pastries are delicious as well.
