Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here. The breakfast was exceptional, as was the service and the room itself was incredibly clean and comfy. They went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. I didn’t even want to go out and explore , I was so happy in the room!

Me and my partner came to windermere for just two days and wanted somewhere affordable and comfortable to stay. To say we were stunned upon arrival is an understatement. The B and B felt authentic for the location and was decorated perfectly to represent its name. Plus they offer dvds, which i for one have never heard of before and found it quite useful and unique. The room had big windows which made the room feel light and airy, essential when staying in a smaller place.The bathroom looked almost brand new and the room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and fresh along with the towels. Breakfast was lovely with so many options and the service was always so friendly and happy. We wanted to extend our stay just because of this B and B but sadly it was fully booked. Overall the place gave such a homely atmosphere and the decor gave the place such a different and aesthetic feel. The B and B was also in perfect walking distance to the towns and both nights we visited the crafty baa, which i highly recommend.I will definitely be coming again!

Me and my husband had a fabulous 2 night break here last week. The room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We loved that our breakfast was served in our room. This was a great touch. It's in a great location and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this b and b to anyone

We decided to extend our stay in the Lake District and our booking at Rum Doodle B&B was last minute. We couldn’t have been more welcomed on our arrival, who offered us a glass of juice when we were shown our room. Our king size room featured a two person dining table, already laid for breakfast the next day and our host kindly mentioned that breakfast would be served in our room in the morning and we had a breakfast card to complete. The bed, one of the comfiest I’ve slept in was wonderful and the room was impeccably clean. The location of the b&b was great, lovely and quiet and an oasis to return to after a long walk in the lakes. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, we’ll certainly be back.

This was our 3rd stay at Rum Doodle but definitely not our last. The room was spacious and very clean, how they keep the glass so clean I will never know. We choose this room as you get your breakfast served in the room. There is plenty to choose from and it’s all very tasty. The lady who served it (didn’t get her name ) was so lovely and friendly. The B&B is only a short walk to the shops and the lake. It’s a very quiet place as well. We will book again when we come back to The Lake District. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic B&B

2 nights stay in a lovely large room with a 4 poster bed which was so comfortable. Breakfast served in the room at the set dining table in the bay window. Everything was just great - the rooms, the breakfasts and last but not least the staff, who are wonderful people. Absolutely recommended.

Absolutely fantastic quirky b&b. Will be staying here again for sure. Lovely greeting with a glass of wine from the owner on arrival , the Summit attic suite was fantastic and the separate lounge was perfect to chill in after a day around the lake. The bed was huge and so comfortable and the whole place was impeccably clean, the greeting and service in a morning for breakfast was superb and the lady who worked there was so nice. And the breakfast was to die for and cooked to perfection. Many thanks to you all for making our stay so perfect. Look forward to visiting again in the future

Staff are not very accommodating. Arrived 20 minutes early for check in after a long drive and I wasn’t allowed to use the toilet. Next day, I asked for beans, bacon and egg and got told I can’t have beans as that’s only for the vegetarian option. Apart from that is a lovely b&b
