“Absolutely delightful! The pasta was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the tiramisu heavenly. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food — hopefully we can come back soon

We had a great dining experience last night at Rumari. The hostess greeted us with a smile when we walked up and was accommodating to our request to sit outside. Our server Jorge was very pleasant, hospitable, and helpful. We started off with a bruschetta and Rumari salad, as well as their complimentary bread basket, which were all very good. For entrees, we highly recommend the Pollo alla Marsala! The mesh of flavors was perfect! The beef filet Souvlakia was also very good. We ended the night with a Grand Marnier Soufflé and coffee. The liqueur in the gelato was a little stronger for our palette but good nonetheless. If we were staying in Laguna Beach longer, we would definitely come back. But it will have to wait until next year 😌

Google
The chef rotelle was incredible. The separate flavors of the white cream sauce and the marinara are incredible and the mix makes for such an incredible taste explosion in your mouth. I order that dish every time just as an appetizer to share with the table and then order a separate entree for my meal. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. Everything is so fresh. You can tell it is all homemade.

Akiho T.

Google
The pasta was absolutely delicious! The seasoning was delicate, and the house-made pasta (Chef's Rotelle) was especially amazing. The staff were also very friendly. It was a place we entered by chance, but it turned out to be a wonderful memory!

Google
Best and authentic Italian restaurant in Laguna Beach! Braulio the chef is just unique, amazing and AWESOME! The staff Jorge and Yarizia professional courteous and foremost friendly! They make you feel just like home! The flavors and the quality of the food is an A+ We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood!!!!’ Thank you Rumari!!!!

I have been to Rumari several times and each time you can count on consistently great food, service and quality. The restaurant can become rather loud, as the tables are close together and the establishment is cozy. Parking can be difficult during peak hours.

Google
We went there for valentines and it was lovely. They have a nice patio with a peaceful view of ocean sunset! For sure you can find other restaurants with better view but everything here was good. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Good red wines. And good foods. We ordered fettuccine with shrimp and chicken. It is not really fancy restaurant but fir what you pay it was good. I definitely recommend it. For two with two glass of wine and 20% tip, 95 bucks!

Google
Was surprised upon our arrival inside the restaurant as they had us follow them outside up a paved road to a rooftop restaurant. It was a unique experience with somewhat nice views of the ocean. I will say that the service was spectacular from an authentic Italian server, possibly Sicilian. Wine suggestion was magnificent but my expectations were high after he was raving on and on about the dishes being the best there is in town. They weren't bad but definitely not something to write home about. I still tipped him very well due to his enthusiasm and positive attitude.

Yelp
4.3/5 Came for happy hour (3-6 wed through sun) and really enjoyed the experience. The waitstaff is friendly, there's plenty of seating, and we were sat at our table immediately. There's a nice outdoor patio, but we sat indoors. We ordered a glass of wine ($10) each and started with complimentary focaccia. The rigatoni, penne, and souvlaki (chicken or beef) were all great. Portions are large so you can share and still have plenty to eat. Highly recommend this place for happy hour!

Yelp
Pretty disheartening experience tonight. My friend and I came in looking forward to good food and service after a long beach day only to be met with bad service. As a server myself in the restaurant industry, i can understand how serving a younger group of people can sometimes be stereotyped into thinking they "don't tip" however it's not a stereotype that should ever be acted upon. Our server did not greet us with a smile, was very quick to rush us into ordering, did not explain any items on the menu or even try to upsell, and did not check on us once until it was time to bring the check (which he dropped off the same time our dessert came out). It would be one thing if the tables around us were receiving the same kind of service but they weren't. A couple next to us were spoken to about specials, another table was offered options on types of waters, he was checking in on them during their entrees, all things we blatantly didn't get. Again, because I am a server myself I understand that we survive off of tips, so I still tipped 18% but if I could've done less I would have. After closing out, then he proceeded to check on us and smile and see if we needed anything. Honestly shitty experience to have when the food was very good.

Yelp
We love this restaurant the food is excellent and the waiters are too!! OMG if you are celebrating a birthday they have the best song that they sing and they sing it amazing. The happy hour is also very good. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Yelp
TLDR: top tier service and food; a must try their Chef's rotelle when you're in Laguna Beach Chef's Rotelle 5/5 Halibut Piccata 5/5 Caesar Salad 2/5 Located right next to the beach, Rumari is an Italian gem with some Greek dishes as well. Most of the employees seem to be Italian and the service is warm and friendly all around. They start you off with bread and some sort of lemony yogurt dill dip, the happy hour menu is robust, and their cocktail/beer/wine offerings are heavily Italian-influenced. My mom wasn't too fond of their limited cocktail and beer options, but she's a hard woman to please. So you know Rumari's food is good because she loved it! The Chef's Rotelle are lasagna rolls with half cream and turkey bacon (?) and half marinara. It was not only aesthetically pleasing, but it was also rich, creamy, and piping hot. The tomato side really helped to balance the heaviness of the cream. The halibut piccata was also beautifully presented, cooked, and garnished. I loved the accompanying spinach. The only meh for me was the Caesar salad as there was too much sauce and too much cheese to be enjoyable. That's probably the authentic way to eat it though so that's on me. Thank you Rumari for a great time! P.s. if you go on a birthday, you are in for a treat ;)

Yelp
Amazing! Local friends of ours who are foodies themselves recommended us to join them for Happy Hour between 4 and 6pm.... we decided to go in on a Saturday at 5pm and it was not too busy as yet. Outdoor seating was available but as there is a lot of noisy (bang-bang-bang exhaust) traffic, sitting indoors is highly preferred. Cozy place! Very inviting but definitely not too cramped. In regard to our food, our funchi al forno and sausage pizza were fantastic and the drink specials ($5 bottled beer, $10 wine) attractive. For the ones not too familiar with Italian beer, Peroni is very light so Moretti would be the better choice if there's a need for more flavor. Our host Leo did a stellar job in entertaining us. 10/10.

Yelp
We were looking for a dinner spot near our hotel on Saturday night, the first day of our trip and found Rumari which was less than 15 min walk away. We arrived around 7:30 and unfortunately the restaurant was already busy, so we were only able to get a table outside. It was breezy out so we were glad we dressed in layers. Ended up ordering the chicken souvlaki. Nothing special to write home about for this dish.. the chicken was a tad dry. Since we were seated outside it felt like we were ignored by our servers. We asked for the bill three times and waited awhile till it was too cold out that we went into the restaurant to pay. Service could definitely be improved on this point.

Yelp
So for a casual Italian this is good. They share valet with Mozambique which is great and just a block away - $10 - free electric vehicle charging. They are a sister restaurant to Mozambique so they also offer crayons and paper for the kids to color which is always fun for the littles. The kids did not like the cheese pasta which was heavily doused in butter. The caprese was ok but average. The cheese seemed store bought so not special. We should have stuck with our initial thought to get the greek and not have changed to the caprese when we learned N's dish came with the greek. The greek salad is amazing and the flavors are on point with the acidity and herbs. I would def. order the greek salad next time. The riagtoni fileto marsala was a huge hit. My kids really enjoyed my dish as well. The filet was cooked well and the flavor of the marsala was delicious. N enjoyed his chicken souvlaki.

Yelp
Had dinner here last night and we LOVED IT!!! Hands down best Italian meal I've had in a while! Service was excellent and he even made suggestions that were spot on. The Caesar salad was probably the BEST SALAD I've ever had! It was romaine lettuce slightly grilled. The bread with the pesto! We in the area often and will definitely be back. Honestly if I lived closer I'd be there every day lol.

Yelp
Excellent!! I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews?? Apparently it has been here since the 90s. I was told they get a lot of regulars. I can see why because the food was delicious! We really enjoyed everything. Cocktails were pricey but were incredibly good as was the focaccia bread (they serve before the meal) and the delicious dessert soufflé. The ambience was awesome too! Lovely servers and staff. Loved everything about this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Celebrated my daughter's birthday here and everything from the food to the service was perfect! I had the Chef's Rotelle which is house made pasta rolled with prosciutto, bechamel sauce, buffalo mozzarella, topped with marinara and Alfredo sauce. It was really delicious! My birthday girl had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and really enjoyed it. My husband had the Bistecca alla Fiorentina which was a 18oz ribeye steak with herb butter and served with spinach and lemon potatoes. He also got a side of macaroni and cheese (it's a shareable side). He loved everything. I had a little slice of the steak and it was flavorful. My other daughter had the Surf and Turf which came with a 6oz lobster tail and 6oz beef filet with garlic butter and lemon and had it with the spinach and lemon potatoes. She also enjoyed her plate. We had Zucchini Al Forno as an appetizer and it had great flavor. The chef also gave us a caprese salad which was really nice and delicious. Now they really go all out when they sing happy birthday here. They bring out the whole staff and sing it in Italian. It really made my daughter feel special. I forgot what type of cake they brought out for her, but she was happy to get a free dessert. My other daughter wanted to try their chocolate souffle and I wanted to as well. It took a while to make, but it was worth it. It was rich, decadent, and so yummy. We definitely loved this restaurant and will be returning for more!

Yelp
Had the calamari and a pizza -- both hit the spot. Calamari was crispy, rustic pizza was amazingly good. Amazing service started with Manny. He was so sweet and greeted us first as we walked up. We sat outside and Noah was the best waiter: Very friendly and attentive. Helped us choose our meal, super chill guy. Yari was by far the best part. She was extremely welcoming and fun. She gave great advice and kept us intrigued

Yelp
As a local of 46+ years i have enjoyed some of these longtime signature eateries and Rumari is certainly one of them. The remodel was a bold yet positive move.. The hostess is fabulous and the food is as you would hope for in a fine dining Italian Restaurant. My server was extremely hurried and we had some communication issues: When you are paying $100 plus to go to dinner you want to " RELAX" not be told you have 60 minutes to eat and romance then leave. That may work in other locations but it gives a selfish impression off the restaurant that says... we want your money so eat drink and be on your way.. If you could slow everyone down a bit to create a more relaxing ambiance and think more about the customers having a calm, relaxing time.. I believe this restaurant could easily grow into the top 3 Restaurants in Laguna

Yelp
OH MY GOODNESS!! YES AND YES!! We stopped for an early dinner after a day of work and I was beyond delighted. The ambiance is charming, romantic and relaxed with outdoor seating if you want. While the service was attentive without being overbearing. The helpful honesty and fantastic suggestions made for a wonderful dinner. Had an exquisite veal puttanesca with an arrabbiata penne (and I don't eat pasta). I'm salivating just thinking of how delicious it was. I can hardly wait to try the veal piccata next! GO!!! It's a gastronomic delight.

Yelp
Tried Rumari's happy hour for the first time and it was just OK. The bartender was very nice but we had some communication issues and couldn't get a clear answer on the beers they offered. After some back and forth we finally understood the offerings and the beer selection was very mediocre with no dark, amber, or Belgian options. The only IPA (Lagunitas) is very mainstream and underwhelming.. so if you want beer for happy hour it's not the right place for it. Food we ordered: sausage pizza, the souvlaki plate, and Caesar salad. The miscommunication continued as we received our first plate, we had stressed more than 5 times that we did not want anchovy in our Caesar salad due to my seafood allergy, the salad comes with anchovy filets on top and had to be sent back. Caesar salad: I liked the small chop on the salad, but the dressing was three times as it should be. The lettuce were so drenched and soon they became very soggy. We had asked for ranch instead of the Caesar dressing to avoid anchovy in the sauce. Dressing tasted like generic bottled dressing, not gourmet. I would not order this salad again. The Suvlaki (both chicken and beef) were hands down the best plates we tried. Chicken and beef were very tender, however, they were once again drenched in a heavy tangy yogurt sauce that overpowered the meet and bread so we couldn't really taste them. I would order this with no sauce (the plate comes with side of tzatziki any way). The side Greek salad and fries were excellent!!! Order this for sure! Sausage pizza: didn't like this one either, it was extremely salty and heavy/thick dough compared to the lighter topping ratio. It's only $9 but I don't recommend it. Overall it wasn't the best experience and I'm not sure if we would go back for HH any time soon.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, and service. Happy Hour specials can't be beat. Going to be one of my regular spots.

Yelp
Amazing happy hour! Early dinner with spaghetti and meatballs, a glass of wine. Amazing staff.

Yelp
Our party of six dined at Rumari's last night and all said theirs meals were excellent . The food came out hot, delicious and presented well. Our server, Noah, was so accommodating, professional and fun. He is the type of server you give that extra little tip too. Our whole evening was wonderful. Oh and the hostess, Yuri, was so kind and accommodating and just the epitome of greeting guests at a restaurant. We all highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
We had reservations for 7:15pm and they seated us as soon as we walked into the restaurant. The ambience and decor was very nice and welcoming, great for a date-night. We started with the portobello mushroom appetizer, not on the regular menu. For dinner, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Limoni and my boyfriend ordered the Ossobuco, not on the regular menu. Everything was so tasty & flavorful!! Yum! The Lemon drop cocktail was amazing! The table next to us was celebrating a birthday and the staff all came out to sing!I would definitely come back to this cozy, romantic, fun restaurant.

Yelp
We had a great happy hour experience! the service, drinks, & food are excellent here. i love the artwork and design. i recommend joining the rewards program. don't let the road construction keep you from enjoying tasty italian and greek cuisine at this fine restaurant!

Yelp
Quite impressed with Rumari! My husband and I were looking for someplace to grab dinner around 8pm during a weeknight and most places around close at 9, so we decided to go to Rumari because they didn't close until 9:30, which gave us some extra time to enjoy an evening without feeling rushed. First off, it started with exemplary service by the hostess. She was warm and friendly and gave us the option to sit either in the bar area with high tops which is cozy and quaint or the regular dining room which is more romantic but still snug. They also have a patio bordering the sidewalk and PCH which would be lovely in the summer. We were pleasantly attended to by our server Aaron who was equally as great. To start, we enjoyed sipping on Negronis which were made to spec. Then we had the beef carpaccio which was light and refreshing with bright lemon flavors which complimented the bitterness of the arugula. The star of the show had to be my fettuccine alfredo with added shrimp. It was very rich with sauce that completely hugged the pasta and not a liquid runny mess like is typical for alfredo. My husband couldn't stop taking bites of my dish though he still enjoyed his souvlakia. While we were too full for dessert, we are looking forward to returning and incorporating this restaurant in our regular rotation. It has true charm to it with dishes that are on point!
google avatar

Lulu B.

Yelp
This place was delicious!! Random LB trip & we found this gem. I had the shrimp Alfredo & the sauce was the best Alfredo sauce I've ever tried. My friend had a cheesy dish with marinara and that also was to die for. Definitely eating here again on our next trip over. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and prompt.

Yelp
This is an amazing place the food is amazing, definitely a great place to go for special occasions. The waiters were amazing with everything. The ambiance was amazing. They have little lamps on each table it almost gave it that candle light feeling for dinner. Also not too pricey. 10/10 would definitely go again

Milana M.

Yelp
I chose to come to Rumari for my birthday dinner and it turned out to be everything I needed it to be! My authentic Italian fix, warm, cozy and absolutely delicious.

Don S.

Yelp
Fantastic cozy restaurant with excellent service. I had the short ribs ravioli which were delicious and the portion was generous. My wife had the chicken piccata which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

Jay M.

Yelp
Yari felt like family! Was an amazing hostess, providing attentive and warm service and making sure we were extra comfortable. Noah had incredible energy and made the experience that much more worth it. Manny was funny and helpful when it came down to parking. It feels like a family vibe here. The food was great. The atmosphere was heavenly! Highly recommend Rumari!

Patrick O.

Yelp
We had a great meal at Rumari. Top quality food. Grilled romaine salad was perfect. Followed by shrimp scampi. Our server Leo was fantastic. We will return when in town again! Patrick and Karen OBrien

Elven C.

Yelp
This place is super underwhelming. Nice ambiance inside but that's about it. For drinks, my friends and I ordered at the same time and they got theirs 5 minutes later. It took them almost 20 minutes to bring out my aperol spritz. For food, I tried the bolognese and chicken Marsala. The bolognese tasted like frozen food spaghetti and the chicken Marsala was bland, lacking flavor. For the price point, the food was not worth it. After we finished, we were asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned it was our friends birthday. They brought our friend out dessert and CHARGED us for it. If we knew they were going to charge us after asking that, we would have just had our friend order something of his own choice. Shady.

Willow B.

Yelp
We had an amazing date night on a Friday night. Our waiter was so helpful in helping me pick the right wine. We split the ceaser salad which was so so good and they plated it on two plates for us. I had LINGUINE FRA DIAVOLA and it was soooo tasty. I don't really understand plating shrimp with the shell on it, but I managed. The complimentary focaccia was not very good but the garlic herb butter they serve with it was very tasty. Highly recommend coming here for your Italian date night. The ambience is very romantic.

Yelp
We were here on Saturday night, and have not been here since COVID / new ownership. The Short rib pappardelle was no longer on the menu. We ordered the caprese salad and calamari as starters. The tomatoes in the caprese salad were not ripe and quite firm, maybe get tomatoes from the local farmers market for this dish. The calamari was tough, portion size was comical and not like it used to be before change of ownership. My wife had the chicken parmesan and I had the chicken marsala. Portions sizes were not like before, as I had one half of one chicken breast in my dish. There were maybe four tables in the entire restaurant that had people seated at them at 5:30. Hostess sat us in a small two top in the corner and then sat a three top right next to us with some loud takers from New York, ugh.... Anyway, sub par experience, one and done.
google avatar

P A.

Yelp
Ambience was nice, sold us on the portabella mushroom appetizer that ran out after we ordered it. Then they recommended the shrimp scampi dish which sounded good. It ended up being 2 prawns for $32 dollars with a mediocre sauce ( a but expensive IMO) also one of the prawns was not edible and tasted bad so we sent it back. I have generally heard good things about this restaurant and maybe this was just coincidence but we ended up not having dinner there given the experience.

Brynn J.

Yelp
So... this hit the spot!!! After this meal my husband wouldn't shut up about how deserving of a 5 star review they were... truly very deserving in both our opinions. They immediately brought out bread, which we devoured our way through two servings of and then were brought out our other items soon after. Everything was delicious. Only thing that could have been better was the tomato in the caprese- it wasn't very ripe or maybe it had a "frozen at one point" taste. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. I find myself constantly stressing out about bringing my one year old to dinners but all the staff made it a breeze. Will definitely return next time I'm craving Italian. Don't let the construction deter you!!!
google avatar

Victor G E.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant was 5 stars+. The food was interesting, unusual & superb. We had a Greek salad loaded with veggies & greens and delicious Caesar dressing. The Greek lamb chop (4) were top notch. The service was quiet & always there before you new you needed them. The room was quiet (most of the time) especially after several rambunctious preteens left. The Nero d'avola wine from Sicily was dry & fruity & scrumptious. And finally, the triple sorbets finished off a memorable meal. I recommend this place to everyone but if you must bring the little kids, also bring duck tape and hand cuffs.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Freaking awesome! We had the zucchini with meat sauce and calamari for appetizers with a glass of Pinot noir to start and shared the spaghetti and lobster with extra tail for dinner. They put a twist on it with a pink sauce because we couldn't decide between a white sauce and a red sauce. Noah helped us make an excellent compromise and it turned out brilliant. Our dogs were accommodated on the patio and the overall service and atmosphere was perfect from beginning to end.

Yelp
My husband surprised me and made reservations tonight at Rumari's in Laguna Beach for my birthday. It was fantastic. I had souvlaki with beef filet and my husband had chicken Parmesan. For desert we had grand mariner soufflé for desert. It was delicious. The ambiance was old world Italian. Our server Saul was attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Benjamin P.

Yelp
Very nice place, we went for happy hours without knowing. Everything was great so was the price! The food and atmosphere was great and taste like Italian dishes. Fresh and pleasant

Kamelia T.

Yelp
We went there as a group of 7 for a Bday gathering. Everything was well as far as the service and the friendliness of our server. The food was great also but the only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star is that they kind of rushed us through ordering and when it came to our friend's Bday they did not serenade her like they did others which felt kind of wrong and we had to ask to get a half ass one. Also, when it came to paying the bill they kept pushing us as we were trying to split our checks and suddenly the server went crazy on us saying he was short and I had to go back and show the manager how we were doing it and how we were paying the server 20% tip even though we were splitting on different cards. He kept screaming and getting upset that we had to pay all his tip in cash which was very rude and unprofessional and ruined our whole night and experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first visit and we couldn't be happier. Warm welcome upon arrival. On time seating for our reservation and warm cozy booth as we asked for. Saul our server friendly, professional and had a great personality. Saul shared with us the evening's Specials and offered wine or a cocktail. Our food choices were amazing and just full of flavor. Now let's get to dessert a Grand Marnier Soufflé that was to die for. We were very pleased with our entire experience and will definitely be returning. And thank you Saul for your excellent and attentive service! We were celebrating my wife's Birthday!

Yelp
Very good service! The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, meatballs, Greek salad, pasta tea diavola, and it was all SO good. Very pet friendly and accommodating. Great energy on the patio. Would def go back!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
I picked this restaurant due to the other reviews and wanted to find a good restaurant for my husbands birthday. The service was good but the food we ordered was subpar. We got the chicken souvlaki and the chicken was dry and not like greek chicken and the tzaziki tasted fizzy. We were disappointed with the food quality but the service was very nice. Will not return due to the food.

Yelp
excellent food filet steak and calamari was ok tiramisu was excellent & cappuccino was tasty!

Meela A.

Yelp
Rumari is a gem in Laguna Beach! The food was fresh, flavorful, etc. I had the pasta, pizza, and one more food (I forgot the name) and every bite was perfection. The service was warm and welcoming without being overbearing; our server made great recommendations and really elevated the experience. The ambiance is cozy, with a romantic, rustic Italian vibe and a pretty nice view from the outside. Whether you're celebrating something special or just enjoying a night out, Rumari is a must-visit.

Peggy K.

Yelp
Made reservations and upon arrival we were told the only available table was a "high top" table. I asked about all the other empty tables in the other side. Was told they are all unavailable because of an event and the only other available table was for a "VIP" who "pre-paid". Maybe don't overbook your reservations when you're having a "event" in such a small restaurant. My girls where taking me out for an early mothers day and this could have ruined my night. But my girls are awesome and we went and had a great meal at seven better restaurant. Will never return to this restaurant again!

Zhang J.

Yelp
Ordered two pastas and salad and desert. Both pastas were too hard. If you have sensitive stomach, make sure to ask them to cook a little longer for noodles. Salad and desert were okay.

Yelp
This is not the old Rumari. It is under new ownership. They have changed the cuisine from Italian to Italian/Greek, not a bad idea. The atmosphere is nice enough, with a heated front patio. An honest mistake on our drink order was quickly remedied by very friendly service. Unfortunately they have to work on the food. When a restaurant uses expensive ingredients, the challenge is two-fold: 1) For the price point, they will have high expectations and a lot of restaurants that they compete with. 2) Given the price, the food has to be that much better than a meal at a casual eatery. Unfortunately, the new Rumari comes up short on both accounts. On the first point, Serẽa at the Hotel del Coronado is the same price and has far better food. On the second point, I would prefer a $13 shrimp burrito at Lourdes in Cardiff. At Rumari, the seafood was overcooked in the cioppino.

Yelp
I'm honestly hesitating about posting this review because the selfish part of me wants to keep Rumari all to myself. But alas, I shall share my exquisite experience with all you Yelpers. We've been wanting to try the updated restaurant for a while, notably their 3p-5p happy hour (Wed-Sun). We walked over at 4pm on a Friday afternoon and sat at a two top in the bar area. Ambiance: I love that it is still similar to how Rumari was before the reboot. Simple, clean, Mediterranean feeling. The service was very professional and attentive. The hostess was super friendly as well. Drinks: The happy hour wines by the glass were excellent. My favorite was the Cline chardonnay. Glasses were between $7-$9 each. Pours were nice! I liked that the selection consisted mainly of Italian and Greek wines. They had one CA red available at the time. Food: Wow. I could taste the quality in every bite. First of all, the happy hour offered both Italian and Greek dishes. We began with the Meze Plate, which had a rich, creamy, and tangy tzaziki sauce and a heaping pile of salty, delicious olives. There were a few other dips as well as two dolmas. The pita bread (4 slices) had an epic bite to it. You know when you take a bite out of a piece of warm, doughy pita and the bite mark remains perfectly intact, all squished together, perfect for forensic evidence? Just like that. The cheese in the Eggplant Parmesan was delightfully crispy and held up well against the savory and light red sauce. Definitely a winner. The Greek Salad was presented beautifully in a bowl with thick chunks of cucumber, red onion, green pepper slices, grape tomatoes, a few kalamata olives, and a thick slab of feta drizzled with olive oil. The dressing was simple and flavorful. 24 hours later and I'm still thinking about the meal we had yesterday. Run, don't walk to Rumari! I can't wait to return.

Yelp
We ate here for my friend's birthday and truly did not want to leave. The staff was so attentive to our needs, allowing us to choose whichever table we wanted to sit at and making sure the shades outside were not bothersome with the quickly moving sunset. They gave us a complimentary birthday cake & a few of the waiters sang a BEAUTIFUL birthday song to us. Felt so loved! And the food was delicious. We came on Sunday during happy hour & got white wine, feta fries, and margherita pizza!
