Rumpus Room

The Rumpus Room is back and that means my favourite chicken and waffles has returned. The chicken is very juicy and soft, fried and seasoned to perfection. The decor is a bit cluttered than the original location but it still has the same vibe. Service was excellent and just be aware that they're in the soft open mode so there are people training. Huge points for the duo-tang menu, super nostalgic.

Not to be compared to The foundation but to the previous Rumpus room, it’s ok. All our food was burnt - the chicken burger was burnt and the cheese Sammy was black but the cheese was not melted. They were busy so I realize they were trying to rush everything. The fries were amazing!! But then again, they’re fries. Staff are very friendly and it’s a great spot. I’d come back for drinks and snacks but not dinner.

This place was pretty surprised me. Home made thin layer corndog. I could really taste the nice corn flavor even its very thin and hotdog was juicy. Fresh waffle was never goes wrong. I ordered the peanut butter/ strawberry jam burger to tried and it really works with each other. Nutty flavor with juicy patty and a little bit of sweetness and acidity touch was really made everything better. Like this gem place and will happy to go again for sure.

Very tasty comfort food and quite punchy cocktails! Had the Mac n Trees which was great and came with a pretty good biscuit. My girlfriend had the veggie burger which was unique and well topped. Fries were crisp and delicious.

Pub style with a childish nostalgic twist. I would return more for the atmosphere than the food itself, but it’s cute seeing menu items like ants on a log. The drink options are kiddish too - you can get your favourite soda pop flavour mixed with alcohol. The drinks are sometimes served with gummy bears, and when they bring the bill they also bring lolly pops. It’s super cute and the service is very chill.

This room was on our list due to vegetarian options for a friend, but everything was great. The room's ambiance, the staff's carefree yet attentive manner and quality combinations of entrees that entertained as well as nourished. The Peanut Butter Burger was a favorite of mine. Note: This place is still a bit of a secret for brunch.

Amazing place! Been here 4 times already since it “soft opened.” And we plan to keep coming back. Everything we try is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is a delightful 70’s grandma’s basement vibe.

My first time to be here. My fd recommended the burger is great here. We ordered a veggie burger and fried bucket for our light dinner. The atmosphere is great, not over noise. We chat comfortably, not over crowed. The food is great. The beer is good, it's from can. I don't think they have draft beer. They have board games toooo. This is a nice surprise!!!!!!
