I brought a guest here to shop from out of town. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this place is a hidden gem! Fatima, the owner helped us discover all of the treasures in her boutique. I had to pull myself out of the store before I spent my entire clothing allowance for the month! I would recommend this boutique to anyone who appreciates sophisticated clothing and accessories.

This store is clearly of high end product although the garments weren't plus size there was still much to benefit from the eclectic array of goods, there is a little bit of alot to appreciate here, to celebrate our people, the vintage was just beautiful to look at, i did find a few pieces i will be returning for. I LOVED MY VISIT !! I would have expected this store to be more located in the Echo Park, West Hollywood area as this is where I'm used to seeing fabulous little boutiques as such.

For years, Runway Boutique LA has been my favorite shop. Gorgeous, thoughtfully-selected clothing and accessories, often created by artists, always beautiful. Prices are so so reasonable. Owner, Fatima, is a master of community events bringing vendors together frequently for pop-ups and other special shopping events. If you’re in West Adams, don’t miss Runway Boutique.

Always a treat to stepping to see what is new. Love that the items are unique. I always get compliments on my purchases.

One of my fav spots since mid city days, love fatima and her unique things. The choice of styles are so vibrant and wish i could buy everything.

Visited this boutique today after seeing a spot on the news about it. I loved all the variety of jewelry they have, and the owner was really helpful and very nice. I found so many pairs of earrings that were so different and unique. My sister and I bought 4 prs and will be back for more. I will certainly be telling friends about this place!! I'm soooo glad I found this boutique once again, it's a treat being on this unique fashionable shop. You have handmade and unique vintage pieces that you won't find anywhere else. I bought myself some bright yellow earrings and a red vintage purse that I can't wait to wear and look fashionable in. If you're in the area stop by and pick up a unique and fashionable piece to compliment any outfit.

Amidst L.A.'s plethora of vintage boutiques, Runway shines. Its aesthetic is cultured, refined, and expertly organized. Runway has been categorized like a women's closet- according to color. In some ways it reflects the modern merchandising we're familiar with, from high-end department stores, and boutiques. Due to increased demand, reasonably priced, authentic, high quality vintage items are harder to come by. Runways' items meet all three of these categories. It's certainly worth a visit. Sales and special events are common.

I love this boutique. Fatima (the proprietor) is a master curator of fashion! She hand selects some of the best fashion finds in any store I've ever shopped, and she's always looking for the next great finds. I've bought pieces from this store that I've worn for years (I have a few dresses that have been on world tours from Runway!). And her special events (like Shop Small Saturday) always have some wonderful vendors selling pieces that you won't find anywhere else in LA! If you're ever in LA, I highly recommend stopping into Runway!

The boutique itself is wonderful and so fun to shop in , Fatima is great and has such a good eye for finding one of a kind pieces . HOWEVER beware of the pop up shops!! I attended one of the special events hosted in the store . There were two different vendors selling beautiful African clothing . One of them was offering custom made pieces . I picked some gorgeous material and was so excited , as I have never done anything like this for myself and it was the ultimate treat . I chose to have a wrap dress made . The vendor said that it would be ready in two weeks . Here it is , about 6 months later and I have an unfinished, poorly fitted dress that I can do nothing with . The vendor was impossible to work with . She wouldn't return phone calls and when she did , she offered vague explanations for her absence like she was sick or traveling . I once got so frustrated that I called Fatima and she kindly got a hold of the vendor, and she finally called me back . That was one of the rare times I got an immediate response . I have had two fittings , both all wrong and the dress looks like it was made for someone else entirely . There is one good ending to the story . I did get a full refund . BUT at the end of the day ,it's all about good customer service isn't it ? There is no price tag on being treated with respect and basic kindness . I feel like I've wasted time, energy and beautiful material . I guess we really do live in a "throw away" society . What a shame .

Don't be fooled by the name; you won't feel the burn in your wallet after stopping in here. Loves me some good sales rack action! Love the location, too, right in Miracle Mile. Went to The Grove and couldn't find what you wanted? Everything too pricey or plain? Hop on over here and you'll find something adorable in your price range that you won't find elsewhere. Staff's very friendly too! I hate that at some places you can't get good customer service if you're not planning to spend hundreds of dollars... Not the case here at all!

This is definitely a place you need to hit up! When people come into town and want a break from the malls and monotony you should try Runway. Runway offers jewelry, dresses, tops, skirts, slacks...from vintage to new and from trendy to classic. The first time I went in I was shocked to find out they even have trunk shows and fashion shows AND a poetry night. My first impression was that it would be high priced but you actually find a lot of treasurable pieces there for reasonable prices! If you get on their email list you can get invites to all of the events. I love this boutique because the owner is extremely friendly, passionate and very attentive. Just popped into this place and within 10 minutes I found two gorgeous original vintage dresses that were totally reasonably price! If I had more time I would've probably found more. Such a great gem in LA and the owner was there and she was really helpful! The design of the shop is so cute! Great music playing too!

Ran into this store by accident and came out with a dress to die for! And worth the price! I've never seen anything like it at all the trendy stores so I knowk it's worth it!

Runway Boutique is on the circuit. A groovy, quaint store located on LaBrea between 8th & Olympic...you can almost miss it. If you do, it'll be your loss. Avant garde, deconstructed, vintage, and down right cute and saucy, this place will satisfy the clothing and accessories for us who would dare to venture to be well clothed without becoming a cookie cutter version of fashion. Make sure to add yourself onto the mailing list on your next visit (which you will do. because i said so.).

I agree with all the raves! Sometimes I come in and it's a "miss" but usually they have VERY reasonable prices and super cute clothes. I bought some of my favorite shoes from this place as well! Which reminds me, it's been awhile since I've stopped in - so I better head over!

As much as it feels good to write this review for such a great shopping find, It pains me to let this secret out to the public. I used to live in this neighborhood and came across this little shop by accident. It is a combination of new and vintage items as well as re-worked and re-fashioned items. I never walk out empty handed and never feel like i break the bank. In fact I always walk out with 2 or 3 items and I always say "i can't believe how little that was!" From night on the town dresses to "I'm a bad ass T-shirts", bags, shoes, accessories and more. This is a one stop shop for a last minute outfit to wear that night and many more nights thereafter! The owner is super nice and very helpful. I live in the neighborhood and the merchandise is always stocked well. I love that I find one of a kind items here.

I drive by this place almost every day, so one day while a friend was in town we decided to walk to the Obo Burger and stopped in. Boy was I surprised the Owner is very helpful and she has great taste in vintage and accessories. I drop in almost weekly to check out the earrings to replenish my stale accessory collection.

It crossed my mind earlier today that I have never written a review for this place, although I've been shopping here for almost 3 years. I am on vacation with my boyfriend and just HAD to come leave a review. Why? Because my outfit, from my clothes to accessories, received so many compliments last night. Women were asking me where I bought my outfit, since it was very cute and unique. If you want to stand out from the crowd, then shop here. Fatima, the owner, has clothing and accessories that I have yet to see in other stores.

I've been shopping at Runway boutique for the last several years and have acquired great dresses for a variety of occasions that I love. Fatima and staff are always very helpful with putting looks together that you wouldn't have thought of. Ok maybe that's just me. None the less, I think the more style inclined would enjoy the experience also. Check it out! Parking can be difficult. There is free parking at meters in the area on Sundays which makes it a great shopping day.

they have some nice 'kitchy' stuff but it's a hit or a miss here and wowwww they're kinda expensive......!!! and where do u park?!?

LOVE this store! Gorgous, unique, locally-designed pieces. I pretty much stopped buying clothing after working at Anthropologie for 4 years & taking advantage of the 40% discount there (& at Urban Outfitters--same company). After being spoiled with Anthro quality at 1/2 off, I couldn't bear to pay full price or buy the boring stuff I'd see elsewhere. This place has funky, vintage, elegant clothing in the $40-70 range. Definitely check it out, you'll find something you love!

I was a patron at the Headwraps event hotsed by this business today, I purchased one of their tshirts. I was charged $30 when the sign and the other person at the booth said they were $10. It is very discouraging when a situation like this happens and left me feeling taken advantage of. I came to the event with the intentions of supporting small black businesses, which despite this situation I still did, the item however will not hold the same excitement and sentiment as the the others.

I love this store! They have amazing body jewelry. Frequent sales with super cheap prices. The owner is too cute! It's a hole in the wall place but worth the find.

Great store! My girlfriend bought me the cutest earrings from here so I had to check it out myself and we ended up walking out with a new purse, earrings for me, a shirt for me, and earrings for her too! Friendly staff and cute clothes. I will definitely go back when I need something cute and new!

I've shopped at Runway several times and must say this place is great. I've bought some of the most unique and beautiful earrings and one of kind clothing from here. Runway also supports local and national designers. I love their jewelry/accessories selection. Every time I need something to wear to a last minute party or event, I always stop by here. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Make sure you sign up for Runway's emails too because they're always having sales and events - dj's, fashion shows, etc.

Alrhough some of the pieces can be found in other boutiques and once in awhile Forever 21 I absolutely love the atmosphere and the 1-of a kind pieces that you wont find anywhere. The jewelry is to die for and I love the dresses by collective concept! This is a MUST-GO

I've been in here twice now and the shopping experience is always a pleasure! The owner is super nice and personable. I love the styles they carry! It helps me venture out from my usual "plain jane" look. Just bought two very colorful dresses and I said I have to write a review. Fair prices, very cute store, accessories to match any outfit you're trying to accessorize! etc!!! I love supporting my locals!!!

Expensive and the staff can be a little aloof, but I love that it exists. I appreciate that it does the "model calls" and has real women modeling their clothing. I have gotten some head-turning pieces here. It's great.

I am not particularly trendy or stylish but RB has helped me venture out of my comfort (aka boring) zone. There's always an interesting selection from cute to eclectic. The woman who works here (owner?) is super nice and great at suggesting pieces to put together but is also unimposing. Love everything about this store. Reasonable prices.

My favorite store in LA -- or maybe anywhere. Runway has the coolest, most original clothes anywhere, in a variety of sizes and for extremely affordable prices. Fatimah, who owns the store, is a natural-born stylist. You can walk out of there fully outfitted with several ensembles, including shoes, bag, full jewelry -- all for the price of one outfit at a snootier but less cool boutique. And she will steer you in the direction of unexpected color combos, so you look like you walked off the pages of a magazine. Everyone will want to know where you got your clothes. I have bought casual chic clothes there, as well as full black tie and it always looked like I spent thousands, when I may not have even cracked $100.

I LOVE this store!!! Fun, Hip, Vintage, Funky, Unusual-Those are the words that come to mind when I think of Runway. The owner hand picks every item that is sold in that store and that kind of great fashion sense and distinguished taste is reflected in all of the amazing local designers that are showcased here. There are original vintage pieces as well, in good condition and great sales as well! She also sells really cool jewelry from local jewelry designers and fun accessories. The prices are reasonable. I always find great pieces at this boutique every time I come in that enhance my wardrobe or end up being something that I was looking for. The shoe boutique in the back of the store is amazing too! Get on Runway's mailing list and she will keep you posted on all the hot sales and specials coming up, which are often times several times a month. They are very friendly and also very helpful in suggesting clothing that would look good on you or are what you are looking for. I love that Runway has plus-size clothing and it is true to size. Fatima and her staff offer great service and smiles. They are wonderful people and I believe Fatima and her staff care about fashion and wants to help others look good.

I've stopped here a few times. They normally have a sale rack or trunk with items from about $10 - $20. There regularly priced items are reasonable. I've picked up a few shirts from here and a dress. They have new trendy items along with vintage clothing. Definitely a great place to shop with unique items and a great store.

Even though this boutique targets women's apparel, accessories n' more, as a guy w/a keen eye for fashion n' color, especially as my wife's a fashion professional, there isn't much that even comes close to Runway Boutique in LA, especially for the prices, variety n' exclusivity. I remember a few years back when my wife n' her close friends discovered this spot, properly swearing not to share this treasure w/their other friends, so they could raid n' stand out from their HOT purchases. Then, I DJ'd a few fashion shows, n' now it's grown into such an establishment in the Miracle Mile area. Now we're all part of the Runway Boutique family, thanks to Fatima's openness n' leadership skills. Her excellent eye for the hippest shoes, purses, skirts, dresses, jewelry, U name it., has propelled this store as one of LA's hidden gems, although not so incognito anymore...can't wait to rock the next fashion show or tea party! -DJ Pelau

I love this place! Their eclectic vintage pieces are amazing, making it hard to chose what to take home! Luckily their pricing is beyond realistic for what your getting. The staff is super helpful when it comes to looking for certain styles or pieces. Every time I go in, I end up coming out with more then I intended. But thats really ok, because I fall in love with just about everything! Best part is, when I wear items from Runway, its a guaranteed compliment every day! Its my first stop when I'm looking for a new wardrobe piece.
