Runyon Canyon

nice hiking trail, follow the road up until it curves into the hiking trail, then hike all the way up until you reach a different road and it’ll loop all the way around! i liked the signs and the fact there’s many water machines and benches. the views are pretty too. the walk up is a little challenging but the walk back isn’t bad.

Always a nice way to start your morning. It does get busy, so the earlier you arrive the better. Dog friendly and great city views.

Great trail for walking or running! Very runnable. Don't even look for parking on Fuller after like 7 am, just find it on nearby neighborhood streets like Camino Palmero and Vista. There are porta potties just past the entrance on Fuller! If you want soft surface, go straight; if you want paved road, take a left before the porta potties. You can make it a loop or out and back. Very cool views of the city and hills.

Highly recommend!fairly easy hike, just make sure you bring extra water as it gets pretty warm.

A great LA hike and BE SURE to get the c Canyon Latte from the Satellite Cafe at the bottom entrance!! This latte is one of the highlights of my LA experience and motivates multiple hikes every time I’m here!

Visited: 16/06/2023 Wasn't expecting a hiking trail in the middle of Hollywood in L.A. so we were pleasantly surprised. It was a brilliant walk. We did the East Ridge which had a steeper incline on the way up but the views were worth it. Take plenty of water with you for doing this Park, and wear decent trainers or hiking shoes. Whichever side you do you are in for some stunning views of Hollywood at the top.

I love Runyon Canyon! It's my favorite place to hike in Los Angeles. It has amazing views of the entire city around it.
