Hats off to one of the top tier ice cream spots in toronto. They feature seasonal flavours such as Strawberry and offer both dairy and non dairy options. Did not expect them to have a tofu dessert flavour but that was surprisingly delicious. Be prepared for some options to be sold out.

The best ice cream I’ve had in Toronto, full stop. Flavour selection is creative and fun! Cinnamon Toast Crunch and honeycomb cereal milk were delicious. Also tried real kid and thought it was a really interesting (and tasty) take on super kid. I’ve worked in ice cream stores 8 years and this place blew me away. I walked out of the store and immediately applied for a job there it was that good. The vibe of the store is also well curated providing a comfortable environment. Only downside is the limited seating.

Visited both their main store on Bloor-Lansdowne and their ice cream truck at recent events in the city. Ruru Baked is a locally owned ice cream shop that makes many of their flavours in-house in limited batches. Many of their flavours are fairly unique, and they often have specials or collaborations with other local brands or shops which are often popular. Due to their flavours being made in batches, they have a rotating menu of flavours available daily. They also offer to swap a scoop flavour if you're not a fan of the scoop flavour ordered. One of their main draws are their special collaboration flavours, such as their Mejuri Strawberry Moon, which is a vanilla ice cream with freeze dried strawberries and has a honey glaze, which makes it not overly sweet but still fairly tart. They also have other popular flavours that are also shared with its ice cream truck at events, such as their special collaboration with COPS Donuts with their Dunk-A-Ru flavour. Regardless of the special flavours, their in-house flavours are still great on their own. Definitely one of the recommended ice cream places in the city, and is also recommended at events if their ice cream truck is there. Their ice cream can be quite popular so expect potential lineups and cases where some flavours can be sold out as a result. As well, their main location at Lansdowne offers them by the pint or tub to takeaway.

I like to think of myself as an ice cream connoisseur. I seek out the best of the best and Ruru Baked has been topping my list ever since I first discovered them during the pandemic. Ruru baked comes up with the most delightfully unusual concoctions. The flavours, textures and ingredients are all top-notch. They change up their menu often and offer unique blends that you won't find anywhere else. They also carry many vegan options. This time, I tried their CHÈ BA MÀU which was made up of coconut ice cream, red bean paste, mung bean paste and pandan gelee. It was just splendid! My favourite flavour (from a past visit) is their Banoffee Pie - a must try! @Ruru Baked, please open a location in the west end!

This is my favourite ice cream shop. They have an abundant array of flavours. My favourite being raspberry cheesecake cake or the blueberry crumble which i believe is more of a summer flavour. The staff are exceptionally wonderful and i can't recommend this place enough. Their dedication to producing excellent ice cream is unmatched. Their consistency is incredible and quite honestly WORLD CLASS. They also make my favorite dessert- a sticky toffee pudding/cake, if you have never had one. Please try it, you will thank me later. Their execution of this seemingly simple dessert is the best in the city IMO. RURU BAKED IS THE S-RANK OF ICE CREAM IF NOT HIGHER! They are the standard. Period!

Goated ice cream, expensive but so worth the price. Biscoff cheesecake is to die for. They have so many flavours to choose from that it's honestly overwhelming but you can't go wrong with any (even some weird ones like everything bagel lol, that one was not for me though ahhaha)

We are another fellow business in the neighborhood (Kensington Automotive & High Park Auto Centre mechanic shops). We booked the Ruru Baked ice cream truck for a BBQ event for our staff, friends, and family. It was the highlight of our event! Everyone loved the selection and taste at Ruru baked, and of course the friendly staff. Highly recommended whether it’s just a scoop or you want to book the truck for your event. Thank you guys again!

The ice cream is very high quality - super creamy and not too heavy. However, the biscoff cheesecake was overpowered with chunks of biscoff (there was barely any actual ice cream). The ice cream itself also didn’t taste like the tartness or flavour of cheesecake, and instead tasted super sweet. The coffee flavour was much more well done with a bitter and strong coffee flavour that wasn’t too sweet. There was also less mix ins, allowing the quality of the ice cream to shine.

Advertised as best ice cream in the galaxy which I thought was a bold claim...no they mean it. Actually best ice cream I've ever had. Flavors were amazing, creamiest ice cream I've ever had, texture was divine. I got the flight with flavors of Monster Mash, I'd Rather be Smoking, and Milk Crumble (I think? was the name) served with a little wafer. Monster mash had an earl grey caramel that I would buy a whole squeeze bottle of that if I could. I'd rather be smoking was a smoked vanilla ice cream with hojicha cookies. Not my favorite of the 3, but can respect them for their honesty that it really does taste like you're smoking a cigarette. Milk crumble had some of the best spongey toffee I've ever had in my life. You can bite through it nicely and it didn't have large chunks just stay in your teeth. Would also buy a bag of that, but actually they do sell it by the bag. You can't ask for samples, but they claim if you don't like it you can swap out for a different flavor. There is four bar stool seats, but besides that nowhere else to eat.

My favourite ice cream in the city, hands down. The flavours rotate, so check online to see what is available for the day. Staff here are always super nice and friendly. There is a tiny little area to sit and enjoy.

This is hands down one of my favourite ice cream shops in Toronto. They are a custard based ice team place so the ice cream is extra smooth and creamy. And they also have a great section of Asian flavours, which I know I am biased to. Most notable but potentially not always available are their durian, pandan, viet coffee and ca phe sinh to bo (translates to avocado coffee, and trust me, it was delicious, though I believe they have discontinued that flavour). They're always experimenting and coming up with new flavours but of course they always have their classics as well. There's minimal seating at their shop and they also have a truck that travels around the GTA (check out their insta or website for the truck location and flavours). They of course also sell their ice creams in pints which for $14 is worth it in my opinion. Super down to earth and friendly service. Honestly, one of my go to recommendations for ice cream in the city.

A pretty close to perfect ice cream experience in an industrial, no frills building at the corner of Bloor and Landsdowne. This is a must-visit destination for all things ice cream and baked goods in Toronto with some of the most creative flavours I've seen. Line ups can get pretty long during the summer months, but they move quickly. Cookie Butter is a fan favorite, but there is truly something for every taste - Hojicha to Banoffee Pie. There are Also over 25 flavors available by the pint for $14.

I'm reviewing the ruru truck. You can find the hours and locations on the website and they even sell pints and have inventory information on the website. The flavors are great - very well balanced and unique and not too sweet. Tried the Milo, ribena and raspberry yuzu - all great!

this ice cream spot was just a few min away walking distance from our stay which was so nice! unfortunately they don't offer samples but they said if you don't like your flavor, you can ask for a diff one. i opted for chrysanthemum ice cream! it was great bc it wasn't too sweet~ it even had some little sugar bits inside for a nice crunch and added texture! there were so many flavors to choose from and honestly I wanted them all we went back the next day to try more flavors! we didn't know the menu rotated daily but we ended up getting passion fruit , black sesame, and pineapple tajin. our fav was the passion fruit! it had banana bread bites and cream cheese frosting inside~ an interesting combo but it worked :) service was great! I've noticed the girls are very accommodating when it comes to making the orders

Everything there is to love about an ice cream shop. The fun original flavours at a reasonable price already gives it a high score, but the seasonal flavour rotation gives them the perfect. That's all I ask from any restaurant really; to have a tasty adventure while I'm off the clock.

I feel like ruru baked has a lot of hype around being the best ice cream spot in the city and I think it truly lives up to all the hype. Every time I've come here there's been a line to buy ice cream no matter what season it's been... winter, summer, spring, or fall. I do not let cold weather stop me from enjoying ice cream and the first time I ever went was during the winter and it was pretty full then. This time around I went in the spring and it was even more full. The only thing that I feel like is a double edge sword is that they have a constantly rotating menu, which is great when you want to bring cool and innovative flavours to market, but then for your loyal customers who really only like one to two flavours and hope that those 1-2 flavours are always there when they go visit, it sucks when they aren't there at the time you visit. I was also super disappointed that they close down the Pacific Mall location because it was way closer than this Lansdowne location to me. But this summer I noticed that this week they're at Union Station for the TD union Summers and I obviously went. My favourite flavour is the honey comb cereal milk, which they didn't have at the TD union Summers this week, but Banoffee is a delicious close second. I have a pint of the honey comb cereal milk flavour in my freezer and I am savouring it. I also think they do a great job with their branding and having merch around their store and available for sale. Lastly, they offer free lactaid for all you lactose intolerant / sensitive folks!!! A big win!

Really interesting ice cream flavors. Tried their brown butter sage and the Mais con yelo. I found them to taste pretty similar, wished I tasted stronger sage and corn flavors respectively. Also found the waffle cone really thick - so it was hard to eat.

Right next to Lansdowne station, a super cute and always busy ice cream shop. The staff are really friendly. I've had their ice cream multiple times and have varying opinions of each. One thing I'd like to say is that they seem to have a great work environment. It's nice to see the owner encouraging her employees. I tried their matcha shortbread milkshake. For that, they add two scoops and blend with milk. It was pretty good and I was given a spoon to get the shortbread chunks. It's quite a decent size. It's $9 before tax, which I think is okay. After, since I have stomach issues, I tried their vegan tofu fa ice cream. It's a bit thick, but the flavour is exactly like tofu! I was really amazed by that. One thing though is that I think they could've had more ginger syrup on it. I got a mini scoop which came out to $4 after tax. If you get the ice cream in a cup, they give you this little wafer that tastes like ice cream cone. I thought that was a really nice touch. They change their flavours daily, which is interesting. Looking forward to trying more when I get better.

This is such a great little spot with asian inspired icecream flavours. You can even take a pint or two home. The banofee flavour is to die for! it is rich and creamy and perfect. Some flavours are a bit too sweet but you can try different flavours before committing. The staff there are friendly and nice and will answer any questions you might have. They have limited seats inside but a perfect stop on your walk or after dinner at sugo around the corner.

Tried the single split with two mini scoops (~$7 with tax), and was surprised at how creamy and delicious the ice cream was! Went on a Saturday in the afternoon and there was no line. Ended up trying the carrot cake and creme brulee flavours, although was hoping to try the milk tea as a scoop but it was not available :( These flavours were pretty delicious anyway! Love the carrot cake which has a bit of spice and bits of cake that give a different texture and go so well with the ice cream, which I've never seen. The creme brulee was also nice, tasted exactly like one would expect! Also came with nice waffle flake which was a cool decoration! Will definitely be back to try the other flavours!

Came here through a recommendation from a friend and tried the Milk Tea flavor as well as the Condensed Milk + Red Bean flavor. I liked the latter better, probably because I was expecting a lot more from the Milk Tea. It was too light in flavor for my liking; the aromatics just weren't there. Condensed milk/red bean was also on the lighter side but at least a bit more distinctive than milk tea. Great texture though - I can tell it's quality ice cream. FYI they sadly don't offer samples (COVID precaution? Not sure)

I'm in the minority here but don't get the hype with Ruru. It's pretty good, but was expecting more given the price and praise. Maybe it's about personal taste and I'm just not a big fan of custard-based icecream? I thought the icecream base was good (smooth and not overly sweet). The big knock I have against it is I would have liked the flavours to be stronger. Got the Milo and Honeycomb Cereal Milk, and while both had hints of those, I like to be hot over the head and bowled over by the flavours versus loving the cream itself. Oh well. Hopefully you enjoy it more than I did. Again, it was pretty good, just not as good as I expected.

really enjoy the 3 flavour sampler for $10. I like the texture of the icecream here. The banofee pie seems to be a crowd favourite and I agree! Clean ambiance, grab and go.

Delicious, smooth, super creamy ice cream with great & unique/creative flavors and great service. We went as a group of three and collectively tried 6 flavors and they were all great. The ice cream is very high quality. We especially liked the Viet Coffee flavor. CTC (cinnamon toast crunch) was fun, and the mango sorbet (vegan) was so smooth and flavorful. Might be one of the best ice cream shops we've been to all year!

More ice cream please.. Ruru Baked in Toronto. Amazing ice cream.. sugar cone is perfect for me.. not too small and not too big. Friendly service. Food connects us all.

Been here a few times before but came back to try their limited time ice cream flavour collaboration with Adidas. We also had to order some scoops while we were already there! This time we ordered the 3X Choco and Rum + Raisin. The 3X Choco was white chocolate based and was great from someone who doesn't like traditional chocolate ice cream. The Rum + Raisin was surprisingly good for someone who doesn't like raisins. The Adidas "Confirmed" ice cream was also tasty, I'm happy we got a chance to pick up some pints before the flavour disappeared! Will definitely make the trip back here to order some more pints, especially the Matcha + Shortbread which has been my favourite flavour so far!

Having seen them on Instagram often but never really searched up their shop location, so glad we stumbled upon them the other day! Got a double scoop in a sugar cone. Matcha shortbread and ricoberry (berry jam throughout). The flavours were great and not too sweet. The matcha did not taste artificial. Will definitely be back to try other flavours!!

Ruru Baked is a small batch custard-based ice cream operation/shop with a lot of heart. When they first started out, the owners sold their scoops at pop-ups around the city and sold their pints at Empire Espresso. Their Instagram page is updated daily, so check out their IG stories for their daily offerings of scoops and pints. The team behind Ruru Baked are about giving back and build community through participating in local business collaborations. Much thought goes into their packaging, the plastic pint containers can be reused and recycled + their cups and wooden spoons are compostable. Food: Below are some flavours I tasted recently (some with mix-ins and some without). If you prefer your ice cream with no mix-ins (biscuits, pie/tart/cookie chunks, beans, cereal, etc.), refer to their website for detailed descriptions of each flavour or ask one of the friendly team members. Pandan - one of my favourites, I can't describe this flavour well but it's a fragrant plant with leaves commonly used in South East Asian cuisine + desserts. It tastes exactly as how I remembered it when I had this ice cream flavour in Vietnam. Honeycomb Cereal Milk - the cereal milk taste was not as strong in this one, but this ice cream flavour packed a punch. A must-try if you enjoy honeycomb. Real Kid - next to the classic Neopolitan ice cream, this is the best triple flavoured ice cream, maybe better. Each scoop is composed of banana, blueberry and just strawberry. I don't get excited at the thought of banana flavoured desserts but this flavour arrangement is delicious. The fruit flavours are real and not artificial. Cinnamon Toast Crunch (CTC) - this is cereal milk goodness, there is the CTC cereal in it. The sweetness level is right on, not too sugary. Service & atmosphere: The staff here are the fastest ice cream scoopers. By the time I am done paying, my ice cream order is ready in a snap! Four customers/people are allowed in the shop at a time, and there is sufficient space for physical distancing. Pricing: Their ice cream is churned using an ice cream machine. The batches that contain mix-ins are all assembled by hand to ensure each bite is a good one. For the convenient location (a 1-2 minute walk south of Lansdowne station) and unique flavours, I can't complain much about the price.

Ruru Baked serves some unique scoops of ice cream. Their ice cream is custard based and Asian inspired. I got a scoop of Pandan and Che Ba Mau. The Pandan was creamy and you can instantly taste the Pandan flavour. Che Ba May is a Vietnamese dessert. Aka Three colour dessert. I had to try it. The main reason I was there was for the Che Ba Mau. It tasted just like the dessert. It had red bean and mung bean paste in it. Made with coconut ice cream.

Great variety of Asian inspired flavours! Their vegan flavours are unique as well. I got a scoop of the Asian pear and wow it tastes just like it. I went closer to end of the day so there wasn't any wait. Staff was friendly and good at describing the flavours. I ended up buying a tub of the vegan che ba mau. It is so damn good. I'm almost done the tub and I can't wait to go back to check out their other flavours. If there was a location closer in the city, I'd definitely be visiting much more. Please also extend your hours in the summer !

Was excited to see that they were listed on ubereats. Decided to give 4 flavours a try. All 4 flavours were great and had the same creamy and soft consistency. Very easy to sit on a couch and demolish a tub. Oolong - subtle tea Blueberry crumble - nice tart from the blueberries 3x choco - nice surprises to be found and highly addictive Cookie butter - always looked forward to the next bite with cookies

Ruru Baked is a small local business making homemade small batch ice creams with unique flavours. They used do their pick ups from Empire Espresso (on College), but recently they opened a storefront near Lansdowne and Bloor. I had heard of Ruru Baked in the past but never understood the hype until I ordered from them half a year ago. Their pints must be preordered ahead of time where the flavours sell out in minutes (now they do same day preorders and pick ups). The preordering process is definitely nervewracking!!! Once you've secured your ice cream, you can rest easy. I've tried a variety of flavours including HK milk tea, Oolong, Smooth Chai, Black Sesame, and Deep & Delish. Each ice cream flavour is unique in it's own way and so delicious. I don't know how it's done but all their ice creams are extremely tasty and nothing like I've tried before. Forget all the ice creams you find at the grocery stores because Ruru Baked blows them all away. Highly highly recommend Ruru Baked. You won't regret it! And a tip about preordering your pints quickly...make sure you set up a Shop Pay account (saves time!)!!

Probably the best black sesame icecream I've had ! I like that it's not grainy...iykyk. Icecream flavours like this always gets caught in my throat lol! They have a lot of unique flavours like Asian pear but it only sells in a pint :( Will need to come back when I'm in the area!

RURU oh my goodness. I can't stop visiting. With these frequent visits I can always count on trying 3 new flavours every time. Honeycomb cereal milk is something else. Can't decide between this flavour and banoffie pie which takes top spot. Such a nice spot at the lansdowne/bloor area! Flight (kids scoops) - $9

Flavours I've tried: - banoffee pie - carrot cake - deep n delicious - cookies - 3x choco - honeycomb cereal milk Ruru has some very unique flavours & their ice cream is super smooth. I can't wait to try more flavours. On top of their delicious ice cream, they're also damn good at baked goods. I'd almost say I like their baked goods more hehe. One star off because both times I've visited, staff aren't very friendly. Kind of cold and standoffish.

This ice cream shop has a nondescript outside, but there was a long line when I visited, making it easy to spot. Got Pandan & Cookie Butter ice cream. Pandan was ok. It had some ice crystals but was rich. The pandan flavour was ok but simplistic, which is why in Southeast Asia it's complemented with coconut. Cookie butter was rich & intense, with big biscoff chunks. Possibly too big - it seems whole biscuits were thrown in. It was sometimes hard to take small bites or scoops.

I've been hearing all the hype so I was super excited to try it. I didn't have any experience going to the storefront myself as a friend was kind enough to drop me off a pint. I got the milk tea custard ice cream. I'm not sure if I've had custard ice creams before but I was so blown away with flavour when I took my first bite. It's super creamy and had a strong milk tea flavour while not being too sweet. I definitely want to go and try out their other flavours like Milo!

Came in to try their 3X Choco over cream, since I briefly read positive reviews about it. I didn't know what to expect. 3X Choco... Does that mean it'll have three elements of chocolate? Like how triple chocolate fudge is? To my surprise, it wasn't! The best way I can describe this ice cream flavour is that it's essentially Pralines & Cream (by Baskin Robbins and Haagen Dazs), minus the pralines and pools of caramel. However, it does have small crunchy chocolate balls that are quite tasty. As a result, this ice cream is delicious and not overly sweet. I added $1 for the waffle cone which is a solid upgrade. I'd like to try their other flavours next time.

Ruru baked makes homemade custard-based ice creams & vegan ice creams that are to die for! Each week, from Thursday - Sunday they have a drop where they release ~200 pints that sell out within MINUTES! You'll have the same rush that you get when waiting for concert tickets to drop on Ticketmaster haha! Each day, they release different unique flavours including milk tea, honeycomb cereal milk, cookie butter , and banoffee pie to name a few. On this day, I actually set an alarm and put 3 pints in my cart and two of them had already sold out before I could checkout!!! Disappointed, I still drove downtown to pick up this single pint of ice cream. Let me tell you, it was well worth it! You can really taste the love and effort they put in this ice cream. I can't wait to get my hands on the other flavours!!!!

Ruru baked is a bit out of the way but worth the trek! Flavours rotate so check out their site for the daily scoops the have super unique flavours like buttered popcorn, che ba mau (a viet dessert), calamansi crunch and more. Definitely give this a try!

Came here an hour before closing and sadly all the pints were gone on good friday. I ended up getting the honeycomb cereal milk and it was delicious. Sweet and a hint of savory? Definitely a unique ice cream choice and i love all their unique flavours.

So, I went to Ruru with high expectations when a fellow "ice cream lover" told me how this was some of the best ice cream she had ever eaten. Little would she know, I'm in full agreement. I arrived at 1:50pm on a Saturday to ensure I'd have full access to the pints of the day (which seem to be posted on IG a few hours before opening) and there was already a line. Once it was my turn, though I realistically wanted a pint of every flavour, I chose to control myself and opted for a pint of Pecan Party and a scoop of milk tea (because, simply put, I couldn't sit to get home to try this). Both were delicious. The milk tea was creamy and every bite felt like I had just taken a sip of my favorite HK milk tea drink. The Pecan Party though was genuinely one of the best ice creams I've ever eaten. A sweet vanilla with small chunks of pecan brittle and swirls of chocolate; every bite was sheer perfection. A must try for anyone (other than those allergic to nuts...) Despite a long line up, everything moved rather quickly and I was shocked at how quickly it was my turn. Note, pints do sell out rather early sometimes (and the limit has now increased to 4) so if there's a flavour you're eyeing and must have, try to get there in the first hours they open (they open at 2).

So. Good. A bit far on the west end but worth the drive! Will definitely be returning with a cooler bag to bring tubs home!

I have never ate any ice creme like this. Just go. Different flavors everyday. A bit pricer. But worth it, saw this on social and been dropping by all summer long. I cannot recommend any flavours because they've been doing it all correctly!

Came here to check out the ice cream and it doesn't disappoint. When we went they had a spin the wheel promo going on and won a free scoop. Definitely a must place to go for ice cream :)

Was in the Lansdowne area for dinner with some friends and we decided to try this place out for dessert after hearing all the hype about this spot. Interior looks really cool and the staff were very friendly. I reccomend getting a flight, which comes with 3 kid-sized scoops. That way you can try a variety of different flavours, since they have SO many unique, asian-inspired ice cream flavours. As pictured, I got the miso butterscotch, watermelon-lychee sorbet and pandan ice cream. All three tasted amazing and not too sweet (which really, is the best possible compliment you can get for a dessert). Also, I recommend checking their website rurubaked.com beforehand to see what flavours they have on hand for the day, since flavours change daily and some flavours might only be available in pints. The flight was $9+tax so it is a bit pricey for ice cream, but if I was ever in the area again, I would whole-heartedly visit here again for another ice cream dessert. (Also, their merch looks sickk)

Definitely one of my new fav ice cream places and lives up to the hype. I've tried their pecan party, milk tea, matcha and shortbread, 3x choco, ube latik and cookie flavours. The standouts were the ube, milk tea and matcha. The milk tea flavour is super concentrated so can only have a bit at a time but it literally tastes exactly like milk tea. The matcha is smooth and light. And I hope they make the ube a recurring flavour! The pint size may seem small but in my opinion it's worth it.This place is worth travelling to and they post their flavours everyday on insta so you know beforehand which is very helpful. I know sometimes they have lines but both times I visited there was no line / only one party in front.

I am a creamy ice cream lover and did not like these ones... original flavors for some, for sure, but too watery (i did not get how custard could provide such an impression) and sugary sweet to my taste, and missing the linking homogenizing parameter. Taste of the ice cream base, the flavors and, for some, the (desired) chunky ingredients seem to not merge together, just combined and put together without a smooth linkage, some emulsion rather than a smoothie thing. I even could not / did not want to finish 2 out of the 4 pints i bought, that stayed for a week in my freezer... question of taste....

i am a ruru fan! though be prepared for a wait because it doesnt look like i'm the only fan around. Hidden right at the corner of bloor and lansdowne is this small icecream shop that everyone has been instagramming. I knew i had to try it especially so many of the flavours seem so unique. I ordered the 3 flight sample and got to try, viet coffee, a cookie and cream flavour and cereal milk. All three flavoours were amazing. Made in a custard, it was extra creamy and smooth. Pricing is also fair for the 3 flight sample! Unfortunately no sampling right now due to covid though but the description posted of the flavours are pretty accurate. Also, go on their instagram before visiting to see if any of the flavours intrigue you before going down to wait in line!

Finally got to try their ice cream when they were at the Milk Up Pop Up on Queen St. They created a special flavour, Peaches & Cream that is to die for! You can really taste the real peach pieces and the crumble bits. I can't wait to try other flavours at their actual store in the future.

Ruru Baked is hidden in an inconspicuous on the southeast corner of Bloor/Lansdowne. There is a little statuette of an ice cream on a waffle cone in front of the grey storefront. The most interesting thing about Ruru Baked is the unique flavours they offer, which are all custard-based (i.e. ice cream that has egg yolk in it, usually thicker with less air and overall richer than normal ice cream). Many of the flavours are Asian-inspired such as viet coffee, milo, miso butterscotch, and black sesame. I got a double scoop ($9 incl. tax), with mango (an Asian ice cream flavour classic) and honeycomb cereal milk. Honestly I found that the ice cream left a lot to be desired. Though creamy and smooth, the intended flavours were rather subtle (some may call it nuanced) and if anything were quickly overshadowed by the creamy custard base after a couple licks/bites. I found that the flavour of the mango did not even measure up to some of the mango ice cream you can get at Asian grocery stores, which was a bit disappointing (though there was no contest with the texture). The honeycomb cereal milk was also interesting but fell short in many ways. I came in expecting something like Milk Bar's cereal milk ice cream (after all, they did do it first), but again it was difficult to isolate that cereal milk flavour in the ice cream and all I ended up tasting was a sweet cream flavour. There are also crackers that are covered in what I presume to be honey within the ice cream, which provides an interesting textural contrast, but they are so overwhelmingly sweet, even in comparison to the ice cream, and to the point that it sticks to your tooth for a couple minutes, that I think it actually takes away from the whole experience. Overall cool flavours, but I didn't really think that the ice cream was particularly great and at it's price point there are certainly better options available elsewhere.

This is the 1st time I would give a retailer (especially now) a poor review... but I can't have consumers in this trying time spend $12 on a pint of ice cream that is less than poor quality and flavor. I'm a big fan of fresh mint chip ice cream and have tried a dozen places good and bad but never this bad! There is next to zero mint flavor and I really hope the operator get better buying of chocolate chips (from Stubbe if possible), when you charge top $$$ you must deliver top quality and truly use high quality ingredients- chips were kinda stale like crumbly! Please know that this is sincere (blunt yes...sorry) - I can only hope one finds this constructive. We are in trying times and I give a 9 for bravery on still opening and serving, hope to see improvements. Best, MJ

There are a ton of ice cream places opening up in Toronto. This place stands out for it's creative flavours and baked goods. When you are this experimental not all of the flavours will be winners, but the creative menu begs for repeat visits to explore. A mandatory place to visit for true students of ice cream.

Highly creamy, custard-based ice cream. Well-made, but the differences in flavours are subtle at best. Not sure what the fuss is about. Overpriced.
