Rustic Guest House

Rooms have a LOT of ANTS and mosquitos. (Hallways too) Room often smells like cigarette smoke from outside. Doors are thin and wooden, dont isolate any noise. Bed is hard. No elevator!!! Bathrooms are very small. Wall electric sockets dont hold plugs. Annoying. For this money you can find better rooms in Chiang Mai. However, the staff is friendly and helpfull.

Very nice, quiet guest house in a good location for exploring town. The room was large and clean with good AC and a decent view from the top level. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice community kitchen with drinking water refills. I was on the top floor (4th level), and there was a lot of stairs to get there. This wasn’t an issue, but just good to know depending and what you’re carrying or what kind of shape you’re in. Haha! Upon returning to Chiang Mai after a week of driving around Northern Thailand, I decided to stay here again for a couple more nights, and I will stay there again if I ever return. The place is that good!!! Plus, the nice women that work there shared some of their fruit snacks with me! 😁

I loved this hostel. Kind of has a safari, boho style. Fun, friendly staff. Its in the Chan Moi area, which i really enjoyed. Felt safe, clean, quiet. I had private 2bed/bath. Great space and amenities. Id definitely stay again!

DO NOT STAY HERE, the rooms are infested with ants. When we informed reception they told us this was normal and they enter through the balconies so there's nothing they can do about it. Absolutely awful staff treatment at a very old inn This is in addition to providing the wrong room at the start (some rooms do not match the description - lacking windows, furniture etc), and not taking responsibility. Would recommend staying anywhere else

Already missing this place. Stayed for just three nights, but everything was honestly perfect — amazing location, super convenient, and the kindest staff. Felt like home.

This place was really nice to stay in and very cute. The people were very friendly and helped us out a lot. It was just a short walk to the old city. The toilet didn't always flush right in our room. Also, a lot of stairs if you're at the top but we got used to it really fast.

We really enjoyed our stay at rustic house. The place is located close to the river side and a night and flower market. |Especially the staff was very nice and helpful with any arising issues. That made us immediately feel welcome. |The room was well equipped with a fan, air-conditioning, and interesting for travelers with valuable items, a small safe. |For breakfast you can choose between a broad range of mainly Asian breakfast offers. Our favorite was the Thai fried pan. As a nice extra we got a fresh cut pineapple every morning. We definitely recommend this place to stay. Maybe a mosquito net would be nice to have.
